It's crazy how that goes. Usually, I just buy individual cards or cheap boxes off of stockx, and whoever comes to play the Hawks, I'll try and get that player's autograph on the card. Recently I ended up getting LeBron's autograph on my LeBron origin card at the Peach Jam. I'm from Augusta, GA. Lebron doesn't sign anything or hardly signs anything in public. But after he signed my card, this guy kept hounding me and hounding me to sell it. Long story short, I bought a $125 LeBron James card off all stockx and sold it for $2600. Hell, he probably gone get it graded and flip it for more anyways. I'll see Lebron again when he comes to Atlanta
Brutal boxes, I appreciate the openings tho as a reminder to people like me to just buy the singles I want, because sealed product is an absolute robbery by Panini
@@LootboxTVreviews yeah, crazy how different card collecting is now and how it was in the early 90s. I cant afford it now 😆. Wish you guys well in your openings! Sorry for the snarky comments 😁
It's always smarter to keep boxes sealed or sell them than to open it. Just buy the cards you want. Might be expensive but less than you buying cases til you pull it yourself.
I just want to shoutout these guys who are always for the community. I know that NT box HURTTTT…I could see it on your face. But in a moment of frustration, you reacted by making a few fans’ days. Those are the moments that matter. Thanks guys 🙏 @Lootbox tv
These are of course high risk and it's why hits are worth so much. They are targeted for people who can absorb $3k drain. They make plenty of affordable high floor products. There is a marketplace for all.
Brutal boxes. I wish the floor was higher on some of these products. Kareem auto is sick though! but I do appreciate you guys being good sports and even giving some cards out to the kids. Love to see it!
Great video as always guys, I appreciate you showing that not everything has insane hits. Hopefully you have some fire hits coming your way, you guys are always so humble keep up the great work!!
The fact that people still give away thousands of dollars to panini for nothing still astonishes me. One day when they all wise up and stop blowing money then maybe we can have normal prices again
That NT box was brutal. Was hoping you hit something big. So cool you gave the kids some cards. Cool you got two RPAs. Second box was tough too. Was fun to watch. Great video
I for the live of me do not understand anyone that thinks these shit cards are going to be epic value. No disrespect to anyone intended, but understand that this industry bust is going to be epic compared to 1990's. There is way to many numbered cards. The reason why cards of age hold value is due to damage and not being cared for, therefore creating extremely limited inventory, also the cuts from the press when making them had me wondering if they were smoking crack setting up the centering. I would liquidate and go vintage asap while they are worth more than sheets of toilet paper. I would bet my life the market will crash huge
Mad respect for breaking a bad box but still generous by giving a card to a kid. Watching from the Philippines! Always stay positive and good things will always come
I have a question u can answer me so I am pumped about select football coming out well on panini website their isn't a metion what so ever when fotl are dropping however everyday I have been checking when the checklist is coming out and their was a link on beckett for fotl thinking of their is a couple days till fotl drops now it's dropping in less then 4 hrs howver since 90 percent of people are unaware of this unless they have clicked the link or have inside info fotl select might drop to 750 a box
Im starting to feel like it’s not the boxes that suck but the market. It really blows my mind that someone would be so-so over a top 20 player OF ALL TIME auto like the Kareem but would go absolutely nuts over some rookie that has a 10% chance to bust out over the next 5 years. I get the rookie card premium but shit, there’s no guarantee.
Had a pleasure to see you on Bayareapull page just got to say losing 6k and still giving kids some cards shoes a lot Good man ! Way to set an example for the hobby
That NT was PAINFUL. I've maintained that I don't know how Panini have remained in this business with the rip off that is sealed hobby boxes. Its disgusting.
@@LootboxTVreviews i feel ya man! It is so addicting opening packs!! It is just way different than when I was a kid and could get a box of UD for $60-80!
I've never been a lamelo ball fan but I'm one the very few theres a ton of fans and hype around him ledgend in the making still a great opening keep up the legendary videos
The thing that bothers me with companies is if you’re charging 4K for a product atleast make it all on card autos just pain seeing sticker autos in a very high end product
Wow! This NT box was a complete disaster!! You mentioned paying like $4000 for the box. Based on the values you shared on the cards you pulled, it looks like, at the very best, you may have received less than $600 worth of cards!!
Swing and a miss? An auto from one of the GOATs and not even an understatement, hes a legit all time great and thats just “not bad” man what this hobby considers good is disappointing sometimes. And im a huge fan of the channel but idk i feel like the reactions sometimes dont fit the card. Ive seen lootbox pull a najii harris auto and go wild, but KAB gets “swing and a miss” how?
Ouch, snake eyes... thats never good. On a side note Panini ought to be ashamed. Unfortunately they have none. I did like the Okongu though. I think he has the potential to be a defensive force.
Love your content.. but..... For something that expensive the lowest average card should be 40 dollars at minimum and you'll still take a lost.. because you need 75 a card just to get even.. in other words people just invest in the cards you want and stop playing the lottery
Online I ran into a guy who bought Panini One Football and got some guy named Cornells RPA. He's like the 6th WR on the Chiefs depth chart. His 1/1 from that set is worth maybe $300 This guy pulled the /99 Its a $10 card from a $900 box containing only that 1 card. He likely got $7 after fees selling it.
About 10 years ago A guy I know spent around $900 on a case of football cards He pulled a $35 RPA of a running back that was only good for 2 years. The card is worth about $5 now. He convinced me to buy 2 boxes of cards with him. $45 each. Strangely enough our 1 hit in each box were 1 players base rookie auto. We both got the same players auto. For that $90 we could have bought the /5 or 1/1 or the NT RPA of that player at the time. It was ironically a player for our hometown team too. I wonder if the packs were searched or something.
