Camo is such a sweet dog, you could tell from the moment she rolled over when you first approached her. She likely hasn't been a stray for too long, her manners are too good. The way she sat down right away after following you and she wouldn't jump up on you, even when you wanted her to. She's been well trained. It's sad that someone would just dump a dog that is that well behaved and nice, but I'm glad she found you guys. She had a few apprehension, like getting in the truck and seemed overwhelmed when first meeting everyone, but I think she pretty quickly realized she was safe and just relaxed. I also loved seeing her and Mav playing on the bed, seemed they formed an almost instant friendship. So, yeah, Camo seems to be fitting in perfect and is an awesome new addition to the family. Well done saving her!!

Rob, the fact she chose you is even more amazing. Of all the trees to stop and sleep at, she knew ya'll were up there. What amazing way to add a new family member!

Man I feel like we're brothers from far away. Camo knows good men when he smells them . Believe he's cur .I have a female I got for Christmas Eve two years ago my boys gave me as a pup . She doesn't like coyotes either. Got 28 acre's an covered up with yotes. I'll pass up a deer to shoot a coyote anyway . God is good . God Bless u for taking her in we do the same thing . Amazing how God can changes things in your life. God Bless I had been taking care of my Parents Dog Pixie, she was special 16 year old, and she passed in my watch. So have to tell them she passed, but it gives me faith all that are lost many are found to get 2nd chance of life.

Beautiful coat

I had a miniature pincher show up in my yard a year and a half ago. I could hear coyotes carrying on outside, which isn’t unusual, and when I opened the front door the little dog ran inside the house! He had an injured eye and was underweight. I posted pictures, called the vet and sent him pictures as well as calling the shelter. No one ever called or showed up looking for the dog. My wife said we would never have an inside dog. A year and a half later and they are napping on the couch as a type this! Good job guys!

I had a large stray come and lay under my feeder one year, she chased some hogs off. Found the owner and she is now the best dog I've got!
