Gods Word has NEVER said come as you are, that’s a man made tradition to get members. Gods word says REPENT and be born again, CHANGE and thoroughly amend your ways! Come out from among the world and be ye separated saith the Lord touch not the unclean thing and I will receive you! That’s what His word says.

@@mikesexton8755 Yes that is exactly what I am saying. He is a Holy God, He requires Holiness life style to enter into His Holy City. You can’t be Holy without His Holy Spirit. So in regards to what you are saying, before a person repents they may come as they are, but when you come to Jesus, you WILL change! No one who has ever met Jesus is the “same”. All these doctrines have been “created” out of scriptures to justify a man’s belief that he can still sin and go to heaven. NO sin is going to Heaven and NOBODY with sin in their life is going either. That’s why HIS Word says come out from among the world and be ye separated. You can’t look like, act like, be like the world and go to God’s Holy City. None but the Righteous shall enter there.

Thousands are saying this is why they left church. His face is being used to justify staying away from church and religion. If he does preach a message of love and mercy, he may wanna talk about that more often. Right now, he’s seen as a “he man woman hater”
@@tierarkhamus2893 Those people were already out of church before it went viral, which is their own problem not Cody's, and he isn't known like that he's more known for how he preaches around the country. People are just too quick to blame someone else for their own decisions.
This is exactly why people are leaving the church! God is our only judge. What a sad excuse for a pastor. He’ll have to answer to god come judgment day.
Actually we are supposed to judge the brethren which is what the song is about, its talking about someone who has already seen the light (salvation) and has changed their ways to be more like Christ and his followers.
People are leaving the Church because they don’t want to hear God’s word. They want to have their backs patted, and their ears tickled. Your statement contradicts itself. You say God is our only judge, but you judged him? I don’t agree with the judge me not crowd. That’s the only scripture they know, but you need to figure out where you stand.
