For people saying he loses the ball too much. He's an attacking player, as long as he tries the tricks in the right area( final third) it is expected that he may not beat his man every time but the one Time he does could lead to a goal
@mazzinas5610
@mazzinas5610 6 лет назад
Just cause ur a attacking player don't mean you lose the ball 7 times out 10, go trial for a semi pro /pro an have dis as an excuse when the manager speaks to individually....(no hate)
@ca4479
@ca4479 6 лет назад
Mazzina's all I saw in that comment was hate 😂😂
@royalmc1609
@royalmc1609 6 лет назад
Mazzina's I understand what you're saying but I play semi professionally and was a youth team scholar at a pro club. We had a winger who always used to take players on everywhere on the pitch. Difference is knowing when to play 1/2 touch in your own half and knowing when it's the right to beat a player. You'll find with a lot of managers they couldn't care less about what the player does in the final third regarding losing the ball as that 1 time the skill comes off it could win the game. Hope you understand my perspective,Nice to speak to you mate
@mazzinas5610

Yh your example makes sense, an is probably common at youth level, but ain't sheldon around 20 tryna go pro ,he'll be in men's team soon
@royalmc1609

brayan2186 some good points. I definitely agree with the last point and feel there were times he were doing the skills for the sake of it and they only came off because the quality of the players he's playing against are nowhere near his level. Nice talking to you mate

Honest feedback, feel free to take it onboard or rubbish it. Skill is fine but simply trying tricks for the sake of tricks as you will obviously know is never going to push you onto a higher level. At the highest level, decision making is king. From an analysis perspective it's about focusing on what the correct decision was or might have been in each scenario. Technically you've got good potential and in terms of balance and guile there is lots to work with. However, are you a team player, is your decision making consistently good, what effect do you have beyond the short time periods with the ball. Those are areas that need focus, then again maybe not as it's hard to make those calls off a short video clip. With that said with ten years experience in analysis you get an eye for things very quickly so a brief summary based on this would be.......Potential there, but question marks about discipline in your decision making, discipline in your decision making is ultimately what will either keep you at that level or in fact help you reach higher. Either way, best wishes and remember.......if you haven't got a potential next decision made by the time the ball is already arriving at your feet then you are either at a level to easy that you are within a comfort zone or you are not in the mind set to focus your ability. Whether you use that decision or not will be dictated by how the picture changes once you're in possession.

This is so true man I play full back at quite a high level. I’ve always been rapid and stuff my technical ability in my opinion is good but my decision making wasn’t the best as I never knew when to pass and I done skills in the wrong place. Just from me changing this and keeping it simple and being unpredictable my team has began to score so much due to the space I am creating. Trust me guys clubs will pick u up from just keeping it simple but at the same time showing ur little bit of flair👍🏽

You need to pass more. It was a good performance, but you could do better. 4:22 why did you stop, you were ahead of the defender. Don't stop, shoot. 6:30 unnecessary dribble between 2 defenders. 7:02 it could turn out better with more practice. The idea was good but still, you need to train more to refine touches. 7:02 you could get in a scoring opportunity or you could pass to the teammate on the right if you had a little better touch. On the other hand, you made some good passes and the last goal, the execution was great. If I were you, I would repeat, train 4:22 opportunity 15 - 20 times and score without stopping. Same with some other situations. I would repeat them, train them so I would do better the next time.

Look sheldon.. at min 5. The guy you were 1v1. Focus on his knees don't look too much at the ball. Focus on where his knees are pointing. You had the right skill but try to face him while cutting in. I'm a left winger and I'm a righty. Ik what I'm talking about. Just giving you some advice bud. But keep up the good work like it.👌

There are a lot of people saying you should’ve passed more but I only saw one scenario where you made a genuine poor decision. The rest of the time you were either alone up top, there were no penetrating runs or you were taking on a full back who was deep with the rest of his back line. All those are textbook situations to take people on 1v1. You did well to get yourself in those positions and you created a lot of opportunities, honestly from what you showed us I though that was a fantastic performance.
@jstgoalkeeping

x GeneraI he’s an attacking player, yeah it’s great when forwards and wingers can get back and defend all the time but at the end of the day as long as they’re tucking in defensively and creating goal scoring opportunities then they’re doing their job.

I've been watching your videos, and playing throughout your whole youtube career! To be honest, I feel like your physicality lacks strength and power (although you did get stronger). BUT... On the bright side, I can really see your improvement in the most important aspect of the sport... Skill. Your touch, confidence, and decision making have become much more enjoyable to watch, as well as very unpredictable. A forward who does not take risks will never get better. A forward who tries new things, and moves away from the formal structure of a "complete forward" is a good one. I see you r improvements with the ball, and I'm proud to say that I feel like you are one step closer to becoming a professional.

I see where you're coming from. There were definitely times where I should've kept it instead of taking say, a 1v2. 100%, agreed. If you don't put yourself in that situation though and make mistakes you will never improve. I'd rather lose the ball here, practicing my 1v1's in a game situation, rather than doing it once I reach a higher level. You must make mistakes in order to learn. When you take a 1v1 you are always running the risk you will lose the ball no matter the level or the player. No risk, no reward.
@thefinisher9025
@thefinisher9025 6 лет назад
Sheldon Tweedie that is the spirit i lost the ball also many times but when you are playing amateur and want to become pro play for yourself, not for amateur titles and cups but to get scouted and win real trophies. Look where i am now 15 year and playing in de first Division of the Netherlands (eredivisie)
@jblamango3197
@jblamango3197 6 лет назад
its fine if you lose the ball in attacking areas and try new things. When you tried to go between those two players I thought it wasnt a bad idea because the best attacking players are artists of the game and use their imagination
