Those $90-150 polyurethane cab mount bushings on Amazon may be enticing after seeing what good mounts cost ($700+) but don't be fooled. You get what you pay for!
If I have learned anything over the years its that there's nothing more dangerous than someone who pretends to know it all. 2nd most, someone who won't admit it when they are wrong. Thanks for the comment!
Just installed S&B mounts on my 2010 6.4 after watching your install video. Rides like a damn Cadillac compared to what it was. Glad I spent the money on them

S&B Mounts now $499 for the set of 8 just fyi.. doing mine now and searching the best route to take out the front 2 bc the cage nuts have spun out on me .. mines a 2014 and not as easy to slide a wrench in the little gap. I will try again, great video
Disregard my last message on the first cab mount video lol, I just found this one. Sucks you have to do that PITA job again. I did it on mine and I'll be glad not having to do it ever again lol. Keep up the good work with the videos, they have helped me and I'm sure other people a lot. 🤙
Good updated video about the Amazon mounts. I agree that they are rough and you can feel every bump but I’m okay riding on the rough black Kevlar mounts. I figured if I decide to drop money when the time comes to rebuild the engine if I go that route, I will upgrade to the S&B mounts then. Who knows by then we all might be driving a smooth electric vehicle by then.....LOL!
I replaced my 2008 F-350 with the S&B cab mounts and only complaint I have is they are squeaky especially during colder months but over all with the S&B mounts and Bilstien shocks truck does ride smooth.
Damnit..I hate this happened.. watched your last video and was wondering how you were gonna like them. I'm debating on trying the Dorman mount on all.. looks like those will ride good! Lol.. if it last me 5 years I'd be happy
Hey I have a 2008 f250 super duty xlt crew cab. Dorman part number 924-320 just may fit in all the 8 body positions and they are not the foam its rubber. I am not 100 percent sure on this but I was wondering what you and others thought about this.
STAY AWAY FROM DAYSTAR, it's like riding a stagecoach. They clunk and shift and they are not universal like they say they are. They are noisy and I'm going to remove them as soon as I get me another brand. Wow I screwed up with that Kevlar or polyurethane crap. There's another brand made of the same stuff as the S&B. The name is Beech Lane Premium body mounts. They are suppose to be made of silicone and they're only $169.00. S&B brings the bolts and the Beech Lane don't bring the bolts. I've looked everywhere and they're all sold out. I think I'm gonna go for the Beech Lane because of price and they're LIFETIME WARRANTY too and they're made of the same stuff S&B are made out of. Stay away from daystar, I can't say it enough!!!
So a common problem with the s&b mounts is that the bolts they send only two out of the eight work. I ended up biting the bullet and spending the money on the s&b mounts and have swapped them out they are night and day and the truck rides like a Cadillac
@@USAF99 in their video they said all the bolts are the same in their kit and work with their design. Did you try their bolts, or just visually see that some weren't long enough? Not gonna spend $699.00 on a kit with unusable bolts.
@@ppclean I tried to use them. Most of them are usable, its just the two that are too short. Even with the bolt issue, the S&B mounts are FAR better than anything else out on the market and create a great ride as opposed to factory or Amazon bargain buy mounts, hands down.
