Just watched your first video and subscribed to your channel. I left a book there. Thanks for your update and leg work on this. 6 years ago I didn’t realize what I was buying. Man have I’ve learned a lot about 6.4’s. My first Ford diesel as well. I had Dodges with 5.9 Cummins and 6 speed before this. How I miss the 5.9’s not so sensitive motors. I love the interior and body of the Ford. I’ve been lucky with my 6.4. Maintenance, maintenance, maintenance and more maintenance.....LOL! I just did my body mounts as well. It was a fun ordeal. I added Rough Country dual shock stabilizer when I run my 24/35. Really helps with the death wobble running 35’s or bigger. I run stocks tires in the winter. Thanks again for the update!
I got my truck April last year. Lie dash said 12. Changed both fuel filters. Cleaned my map sensor. Now it says 15.5 to 15.7 not pulling. Calculated it by hand and got 15.5 so that helped
@@USAF99 Thanks. I will be changing mine also (MAP) sensor. I just pulled my 30' travel trailer 1700 miles and only got 8.5 to 10 mpg. I know the 6.4 is thirsty so anything to save fuel helps. Thanks..
Just did mine today and I gave them this part number USAF99 listed. The package also had CX-2161 part number along with the number listed. I bought the last one they had. Mine was not clogged at all but was dirty. Did a quick cleaning of the old one and put it back in the package for just in case moment. Took longer to find my socket for sensor than removing and installing.
I would hook a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel test port and see what your pressure is, might have a weak HPFP. Not just at an idle either, make sure the test line is long enough to run it through an open window and look at fuel pressure under a load (driving down the street...safely).
