"I Screwed Up!" Harith Iskander & Jezamine Lim Clear The Air | Exclusive Interview with Daphne Iking 

Perfect marriages or relationships aren't real; each one is different. What makes one person content might not make another person content. But I've discovered that there's always a solution to every problem. Five years ago, my wife and I were facing divorce because of issues in our marriage, but we managed to resolve them. It was challenging, but we made it through.

A rare case of a couple who can handle their divorce in such a matured and rational manner. Not the usual fights or bad-mouthing each other in divorcing cases.

I think it's so brave of them to be interviewed and to answer all the questions. This is what honesty is all about. Too many compromises to make to make a marriage last. Better to part when you still care for each other rather than hate.

I had just gone through a divorce last year after 20 years. Made me sad. But my ex wife is my best friend today. We are closer than we had been as husband and wife. I understand harith and his partner perfectly well.

I believe they did this interview to protect their children. As mentioned, their children's friends were already asking questions, and the media was already speculating. I feel deeply sorry for their young children. Typically, divorces can tear families apart, but kudos to both Harith and Jezamine for stepping up and being responsible parents. To the netizens: the least we can do is mind our own business and give them and their family the privacy they deserve. Kindness will make things better

Having gone thru 2 divorces, i can say this: give yourself some space, but don't give up on each other. Be kind to your self and then only you can be merciful to each other.

When you marry a strong independent woman like Dr Jezamine, you cant 'screw up' like some recent celebrities always do. She wont kneel down and beg you to stay, she is very confident and isnt afraid to leave a relationship where her commitments are not respected nor reciprocated.

Seeing the funniest man in Malaysia and watching him since the early 2000s as a fun and comedic guy, broke to tears, it made me in tears as well.

Amazing individuals. Just a soft reminder, after divorce you'd be a total stranger (ajnabi/non mahram). Although you might be good friends, but as Muslims you cannot touch each other (including salam/shake hands) let alone hug like you're doing right now in the video. I believe at the time of this interview you are still married couple, Harith has not say the talaq in court, right? Sorry for saying this because I have met many couples who does not know this. May Allah ease our ways.

It's a very brave decision for this couple, they're not sharing their dirty laundry but to me sharing their ups and downs with their marriage and how they have tried and they've tried all means to salvage their marriage. These 2 remind me about my ex and myself. Rightly said, we are better of as friends too. Me and my ex have amazing rapport & respect even after the divorce. But, this wasn't the case wen we were married. So, i understand wen he said, we are better off as friends. Some people are just not meant to be husband & wife. They however, do very well as friends and parents( if they hv kids) Our kids doesn’t even feel that we're divorced. Though they know we are. We put our kids 1st before our egos or issues.

I absolutely agree that sometimes married couples are better off as friends. I’m speaking from experience here. My ex and I are now the best of friends and we have a wonderful friendship with each other - mutual respect, trust, and genuine love.

Just forgive and get back. Be matured. Kids will always feel victimised no matter what you say.

Instead of taking legal action, why don't U both for now try living like divorced doing your scheduled responsibility. Distance may heal and make each other appreciate really. Then can comeback if U wish. For now try living under separate roofs.

jazmine didnt want to share harith with anybody by poligamy. Theres nothing could be the logic reason for both of them to devorce unless becoz of that thing for sure. As well as what we've being told by harith that he screwed up. Clearly they are not talking about this possibalities at all.

All these scheduling will work until she or he has another bf or gf then it get awkward for them.and their partner...if she wants to let go completely..she has to let go the position as his manager..feel they will get back together otherwise

Dear Harith, I just feel sorry for you as a man and as a human. To start of an elbow to the man you are about to divorce (hey dude you go lah you go lah) moreover while both as claim in the car going to file a divorce? Hmmmm.... By the way, to her...well we all don't go to Harith's show because we all "have a screw up day" as you claimed, we go because we love he's jokes and that is irregardless of whoever that manages him because he is the celebrity and the show man. It ends there and all credit goes to him. Managers get paid and we are sure she is well paid hence it job being paid so don't brag about managing him unless it is at no charge as a real wife. Also, Harith made a good point that it is the same for people that works 9-5pm because we all have to work our ass off even when something tragic happends. But, she stated that 9-5 people are not the same..they go on instargram. That is a horrible thing to say to fans. Non stop mentioning that she is managing you...and the clients ..putting you so low as if you can't manage anything or are pointless or meaningless. We don't believe in that at all. Profiling and personality can be identified of a person thru the way they speak, body movements, what and where they speak. Harith, all I can say as a fan is that I feel pity for you and we all understand the situation you are in...we support you...only you. Divorce is a normal thing nowadays but please don't make it normalised about it since marriage always has ups and downs. Better to stay together and try to fall in love again. Of course she still loves him. But thinking about the other woman in his life, it is better to let him go. Time will heal everything and they will find another soul mate. To see her smiling, giggling, and shedding tears, clearly she is hurting. She is in pain. Betrayal is painful, it hurts. I think all woman have gone through all this.

Normally when the woman acts this way, this friendly and understanding towards her just ex-husband, it's a big red flag. It's almost screaming shoooh! Atlasat! Dr Jezamine is a blessed lady, strong woman, beautiful and intelligent. Her next love will be someone who is just as amazing as her. And probably someone who goes to gym and the kids will love. They need sometime to heal and reflect upon their mistakes or what requires to improve their relationship. Hopefully, the separation is only temporary. You only will get better with age usually. Sincerity and communication are keys to a successful marriage.
