@@seraphinamorris6206 if you change "my feet" to "your feet" it makes more sense tbh. It basically means that there are deaths every few seconds everywhere on the world, but people only care if it's people they know, who die.
@@grakalamontages5066 it makes sense both ways. either it sounds like you have nothing to do with the death of those people or you were the cause of it. either way when i said Lucifer quote I meant the Lucifer Netflix series.
@@susp1c10us96 there are many heros i can think of who would sacrifice other people to save the world because the world needs them to survive. a example of this would be kiritsugu
@@josephking8989 Then he would not chose at all. By definition a hero is somebody that accomplishes a brave or great deed himself. If you chose a necessary evil (sacrificing an innocent) you still chose evil. Even though we water down definitions today, in discussions you need to clearly define what is what. If the person that loves them choses to sacrifices itself then he/she is the hero. The person chosing to sacrifice them will be somebody that may be admired for his will to see it through. Furthermore, the merit of sacrificing somebody for something can always be a matter of perspective. In my eyes, heroic acts leave way less room for discussion and inspire respect in both sides of the conflict.
@@susp1c10us96 while you are right and I agree with what you said, the counter-argument would be who defines a great deed, and that would be the people still alive because of what that person chose, so most would agree that it is still considered a great deed though not all(for example the person who was sacrificed or their family).

Finishing up the last of her paperwork with a final swish of of a quill she sighed. As she got up the faint echo of swords clashing floated through the air. Her crisp footsteps helped her feel grounded as she paced towards the balcony with plans running through her mind. As she reached the the railing she looked down and watched the chaos. The smells of blood, iron, gunpowder and magic danced around her nose and into her brain. War. And it was all her creation. It was beautiful. He would be here soon, he always was. He would be here with his false ideas of justice his certainty that he was the hero of this story. Without noticing a light smile curled up her lips. Perhaps she would keep him around once this was over. He was amusing after all and and we could all use a laugh these days. The sound of someone running snapped her out of her thoughts. She spun around and dropped the smile just in time. She looked prepared and powerful. Her eyes narrowed slightly and a light smirk began dancing on her lips and she bathed in his shock. His unkempt hair fell over his eyes slightly as he slowly walked towards her. The blood gloriously painted across his body said that he had been fighting and his slight limp told her he had been hurt. The scar on his cheek she had given him last time was almost healed. Had it really been that long ago that she left them? Ah well, that is of no importance now. Her eyes darted back to his face as he began talking. "What happened to you? " he said in an obvious attempt to distract her. "What happened to us?" Well, might as well play his game, "What ever do you mean?" "You know what you did" "I just did what's right, surely you of all people should understand" ,she replied, hardly containing her laughter as he got noticeably angrier. "WHATS RIGHT!!!", he yelled, "How is this right?!? You've nearly wiped out all of the magic users!!". "Exactly. The magic users are the problem." His fist clenched and she saw a flash. Oh, so that's what he was planing? Silting her throat. Well if that was the case pushing him over the edge and breaking him should be easy. "You. You're the problem. Your magic, it's hurting who you must protect" she said with venom. His eyes flashed and he lunged forward. He pressed the blade against my throat but a smile graced my lips. "You're crazy," said by the man with hair now wilder than the wind, eyes red and bloodshot. "And who is holding the knife?" Her voice is harsh, but quiet. He trembles, his eyes trying to tear away but unable to break their gaze. "Do it, Darling. The world has done enough to me; I'll hardly feel it." And just like that, the man broke down in front of her. This comment was inspired by what @Belle Jury commented. Hope you liked it!!!
holy shit that was rlly good! you use very expressive language, and the perspective makes for a fascinating read! i especially love the last line, what a way to close it!! im in awe tbh
At first I was like oh wow what descriptive terms used, this is kinda good but i'm just gonna listen to the music. But then I decided to read more and this was really really good. Send me more stories like this. I really enjoyed reading it.
Why'd you become a villain?" "I found a good playlist." "Thats it? No childhood trauma, revenge, hate for the world?" " It was a pretty good playlist tho "
Villains really do drive a story. They create tension, depth, perspective, and can even be relatable while committing the worst of acts in their given story. This music really drives all that home.
“You know it’s never our choice to be villains, we’re turned into villains.” “What makes me the villain in your eyes makes me strong in mine.” “I get along with my demons instead of fight them, its made me strong and better than I ever could have been without them.” -Me, myself, and I 2 years later and I cringe at this villain arc
“Good? Evil? Fuck you think this is, some kinda fairy tale? Those are subjective kid, we’re all the heroes of our own story, your only problem with me is I prefer a little chaos in mine. And unlike you, I don’t tether myself to law and order like a security blanket, I’m willing to do what I feel needs to be done, and because of that? I’m the villain? Okay, bet. Then show me what you got if you fancy yourself the hero. Maybe after I lay your ass out you’ll begin to understand where you fit into this big chess game we call life, and start to see exactly what I mean.”
100000% agree. as soon as i fulfill the legal requirements to make sure i dont get sniped in my sleep, im moving into either the woods or a small town with my friends. we'll make our own way
I just want to break free. Live in my own way and not care about what society want's me to behave like. As soon as I save up enough I'll buy my own castle and I'll live like it's the 19th century. I'll be a writer and I'm going to write all my opinions about the world. Nobody can stop me. oh and also I'll host balls in my castle so if anyone dreams of this too you are more than welcomed.
The whole town watched them in fear, not daring to breathe, not daring to move, just in case she broke free. "YOU'RE A KILLER, A MURDERER! YOU'RE CRAZY!!" he yelled at her, his voice breaking, betraying his image of "cool hero". "Darling, if you kill a killer, it's still murder," she said calmly, frustrating him even further. He mimicked the audience for a moment, not knowing what to do. "Bet you a gold piece she escapes?" a quiet voice came from the crowd. Another replied, "50 bronze ones, or nothing." "Deal." Hearing that, she burst out laughing. That crazy laugh told him it wasn't the end. It scared him. As it should.
*He held the blade up to their throat.* “Well, this is the end for you.. isn’t it?” The villain remarked, choking back a laugh. “You called yourself a hero, a savior, a good guy.. I called myself one of you. I am so ashamed of myself...” “You’re insane!” *Remarked the hero, struggling to get out of the villains strong grasp unscathed.* “Heh..” *The villain chuckled.* “And what if I am?” *He uttered as he finished the hero in one swift swipe.* “This Battle is finally over.. and I have won.”
"Why are you doing this?" the 'Hero' asked me, drenched in blood. "Oh good, you're here," I said not even looking up at the villain. Come on, I prefer to look at my deep red wine rather than a death machine. The 'hero' seems to be exasperated with me because after my response he started walking towards me. AND ON MY FRESHLY BOUGHT CARPET Snarling, I said, "I know you just came after taking forever, but please darling, blood is so hard to get out of the carpet." I don't know what he did exactly after my statement, but before I could blink I had the tip of a sword on my neck. Which was really- well it wasn't surprising, no, it was more "Wtf dude" and "Really?" energy. Sighing, I lifted my fingers slowly and started pushing the blade away from my neck. The 'Hero' kinda let me, well, we were in my domain after all he can't do anything. I got up and walked towards the centre of the room, where the carpet ended. I was not kidding when I said that blood is hard to get out. 'Hero' looked so lost. It was really cute. The way his eyes seemed to be looking for some sort of trap, those eyes that won't be so lively in mere minutes. "Come here," I said to him. He obeyed, not knowing what else to do. When we were face to face, I took his sword and held it to my throat again. The hero looked so confused, but I kept going. "Now, where were we?" I asked him, nonchalantly. "I-" "Ah yes, you were asking me why I'm doing this." I clapped my hands after that statement and resumed, "Go on ask me again," The hero blinked. Once. Twice. And finally when he didn't seem to understand me he just went with me and asked. "Well, the reasoning of that is really simple, to be honest." I waved my hand over his body, "Exhibit A, you killed everyone." The 'hero' was ready to object, but I put my hand up to stop him. "Exhibit B," I pointed at the sword he's currently trying to kill me with, "you are threatening someone's life and you don't seem to be worried at all at the fact that you could kill them if you moved your hand the slightest bit." I leaned in closer during my statement and I felt his body shudder at my words. "But I- " he waved his free hand trying to motion, something, -"I'm just trying to stop evil?" I rolled my eyes, "So killing someone and countless others for this so-called good isn't inherently evil?" He kept stuttering and I took that to my advantage. I leaned in close and whispered in his ear, "I see a human, but no humanity,"

"I see humans, but no humanity." The villain said as he stood up from his throne. The heroine stood there, silently contemplating the words she just heard. The villain grinned, and proceeded to laugh hysterically. A laugh that which only a man who'd truly lost his mind would utter. She scowled at him. His laughter ceased. And he returned to his throne, and the two stared at each other. He had this cocky grin stuck on his face. God how much she wanted to just go up there and sawk him across the jaw. But she had to wonder, what did he mean by that? The villain, noticing the confusion evident on the heroine's face, smiled, and said "What? Why do you act so surprised? Humans were bound to destroy each other eventually. Besides, don't you see what I've really done? For once humans aren't divided. They're actually working together properly for once in history. All it took was an insane S.O.A.B to almost destroy the planet." The heroine considered his words. And she realized he was right. She kneeled down, feeling defeated. The villain stood up, and walked toward her. He placed his hand on her chin, and made her face him. "Why are you doing all of this just for that?" She said, tears coming down her face. "Oh my dear, sweet, naive girl. I'm not doing this to bring humanity together. Besides, humanity was going to destroy itself eventually. I'm just speeding the process up a little bit." She continued to kneel there, defeated. She had lost. And he had won. He might not have killed her, or made her fall in love with him. But she no longer had the will to keep fighting. He charged up his weapon, ready to fire. "My dear, you need to understand, some people want to watch the world burn to ash. While me? I'm here to light the flame. I'm gonna burn the world to the ground. Humans were a mistake." Just then, the military came, armed to the teeth. "All this? Just for little ol' me?" The military stayed their ground, then a loud order was heard "Light him up!". Gun fire and explosions of all kinds were ringing out. But their efforts were futile. Once the dust had settled, a silhouette came walking out. It was our titular villain. With a cocky grin on his face. "So many humans...Yet I see no humanity." He gave one last cackle, before pulling out his weapon. Ready to fight a war on his own.
Imagine a villain that actually likes to listen to music so they just turn playlists like this while destroying the world Lmao what a character like that would be

~ "When everyone sees who you really are inside, they'd hate you, they'd leave you all behind, they'd see how much hate and anger is inside of you and they'd be disgusted. " ~ You stared at at the knife your hooded eyes stared back, the only trait you both share. 'Well, you were right about one thing, they did hate me.' Your footsteps clacked against the floor, as you made you way to the chained woman. Her chains shook louder and louder. You crouched near her and the chains stopped, as you put your mouth near her ear, revelling in how her breath trembled, and yet her body remained tense, even though her own eyes were filled with horror. It felt... good. The power to make the woman who hurt you, branded you and broke you, crumble. You feared her before Death itself, and now - now she trembled before your very presence, and so you took your time, whispering low and letting each word settle and melt in your mouth. 'But the truth is I left them behind a long, long time ago, among the pillars of their graves,' The edge of your blade was pressed flat across her neck, the apple bobbing up and down. She flinched as the pressure drew a thin trail of blood. "the only thing I have left of them now - is their blood on my hands.' You removed the blade, and held her face as though she were a child herself. Her face now etched beside the many others you once believed cared for you, loved you - that is before they hurted you. You placed the tip of your blade to her left, against the furtive heart meekly raising with the blade. You smiled, letting the feeling wash over yourself and stared into her hooded eyes, a mirror of yours, except yours had no tears, no fear and no horror as you uttered - "Goodbye Mother" And, "Let's meet in hell." She layed there, bloody and broken on the floor, breathing heavily and glaring up at the man she once called her lover. "Any-" she broke into a a coughing fit. "Anything.. else?" His eyes narrowed, and one of his thugs kicked her again. "Shut it, Vira. I don't want to hear another word." "Ooh, testy. What... exactly will you do to me, if I don't comply? T-torture? Beat me senseless? Lock me in a box? Wait.." He steps forward this time, and wrenches her up to look her dead in the eyes. "Shut your mouth, you dirty witch. Be thankful I let you, an evil murderer, get this far." "A hero, are we, Julian? The man I killed took the life of my sister. It was justified. But I don't recall the part where I kidnapped my ex, dragged her back to my house, and brutally beat her til her bones broke for what she did to a buddy I used to run with." is it just me but i am starting to understand the villain's pov and why they are just trying to save the world by ending the lives of the ones who poison the earth- but everyone calls that 'murder' when the villains would always call it, 'cleansing'. 👀 just me? ok.
fufufu, nobody asked for this but alas, heres a short story about... the end? I guess? idk I just wanted to write Standing on the roof, wind blowing through her hair. It was cold, but she knew colder. As she stared at the disappearing sun she quietly laughed to herself. "Hnhnhnn, what a beautiful sight, darling," she turns around and watches the new arrival slowly pace towards her, "Don't you love it?" The new arrival stops and scowls, "You're disgusting. All of this is so..." he gestures towards the bodies scattered across the roof, "It's wrong! So very wrong!" he looks up at her and whispers into the breeze, "Where did the old you go?" She stared at him a sarcastic grin growing on her blood stained face, "Darling, you should know the answer to that better than anyone, it was you after all, that started this, dare I say, game." He looked at her, disgusted, "How could you pin this on me? I was trying to HELP you! and you rejected me." "Darling, you were trying to stop me from stopping you. You knew I was on to your little trail. I was going to ruin it all," she purred, "Thus, you tried to remove the obstruction. Congratulations, you failed." He takes a step backward, offended. She stares at him, unblinking. "Suprised I caught on so fast? Well it's not like I could've let you continue this," she gestures towards the city. It's broken and ruined. Looking closer, dead bodies, bloody ones, are littered everywhere. Strewn about as if they were weeds. "You call me disgusting, but the real horror here, is you, darling..." She turns back to him. Her eyes flit over his wide eyes. "In the end I still won didn't I? Hnhnhnn... you are wretched," she said as she turned to the horizon. Looking down she spoke again, "Rest in pieces darling." Not looking back she jumped. The building blows up just as she falls out of sight. The dead bodies of all of her enemies are blown to bits. Looking closely, fireworks can be seen blowing out of the burning building. In the darkness, the colors are vibrant. It's beautiful, a miracle in this dark world if you didn't know their true meaning...
“He stood there, bottle in one hand, vial in the other. A cruel smile lifted his face, as he began a slow walk. He had somewhere to be, but time to get there. They sat unsuspecting, as an old friend came to brink them a drink. They gave an unsuspecting smile. He gave a wicked grin. Vial gets emptied, drink gets filled. It seems as if time itself is hesitating to pass for the events that came to be. An old friend. A new enemy. Or maybe He was the enemy, corrupt and seeking death. But in those moments, as the bottle emptied, no regret came to be. Only years of awaited revenge, coming in full, silent, and deadly force. It was over. And he forgets those events sometimes. It’s easy to forget, when I never tried to remember.”
"To gaze into the darkness and not feel fear, is to have embraced the evil inside. We all have it... That draw for power... What we do with it after? Heh... That's up to you. Some make it an addiction, some make it their drive... Others? They let it consume them and leave all they thought they knew behind and walk into the shadows with a smile for they have found their home. We all have that same darkness hero... What does it matter you chose to make it an instrument of murder where I made it an instrument of greed? You kill... I take more than I could possibly need... Why? We both know why hero... It makes us feel good... That you cannot deny. You kill the "villains" of your story... and it fills you with a sense of pride... Pray tell me how that's any different from the men, that this morning had pockets and bellies full, a family they support single handedly in such a dark and oppressive world who now lie dead on the floor? You tell me how your acts of heroism are worth causing untold pain? Untold chaos? You pluck the spider from the web and it remains... You pull the kingpin from the equation and the crime still goes on. So hero, what will it be? Leave here and let the deaths of the guards, the widowing and loss of a parent to their children be in vain, or cause the power vacuum that will surely plunge the city into dismay? You've lived long enough as the hero... You could always become the villain... Your choice, Hero."

I always found such thoughts hilarious. As such quotes imply that the world needs protecting, as nature is cruel. It is only by becoming stronger that humanity rose above the cruelty of nature.
