I See You is a 2019 American horror thriller film directed by Adam Randall from a screenplay by Devon Graye. It stars Helen Hunt, Jon Tenney, and Judah Lewis.
Ten-year-old Justin Whitter is abducted by an unknown force while riding his bike. Greg Harper is made lead detective on the case, assisted by Detective Spitzky. A green pocket knife is found at the scene, connecting the crime to a series of abductions committed 15 years prior by a man named Cole Gordon, who is now imprisoned.

The scariest thing was Helen Hunt's plasic-like face. It looked CGI'ed in some places.

Thank you for this review!! I just watched the movie tonight and needed to find someone just as frustrated as I was with the movie 😂 I wasn't rooting for anyone in this film. Not even the "hero." Spot on!

I could not understand the hype around it. It had such lazy writing and the characters were so obnoxious. I really wanted to love it, but it was bad.

I think people have a soft spot when it comes to revenge. They enjoy the concept so much that they overlook the details

I loved it... Watched it with my Daughter the day after I watched it and it was great again. The middle twist was really cool. I do think somethings were over the top.

Thank you!!! Everyone seems to love it. It's oversimplistic and predictible from the middle of the film on. It's just twists for the sake of twists. No character development whatsoever

Totally agree. I thought the story was lackluster and solely relied on twists to hold your attention. The performances were pretty bad as well.

Pretty sure it’s shown in the movie that it was a trap set with fishing line or something similar. But yeah the whole movie was dumb af. I think the most annoying part was halfway through, the whole movie just comes to a screeching halt and they decide it’s now time to explain all the weird shit that’s been happening, for which by the way they left NO clues. It very much felt like they completely ignored the “show don’t tell” rule. Every twist felt like the justification was “because we wrote it that way” rather than it making any kind of sense.

Maybe I've just seen too many thrillers with great twists but this felt so predictable and formulaic. I also couldn't get past the really bad performances..

I appreciate you making this video, and I respect your opinion. I disagree on the plot. The acting was disappointing in retrospect; agreed. It was nice to see something that felt original - I am not a fan of True Crime so maybe I’m just that not cued in. I felt that most of the twists were earned; the storytelling needed work. I still applaud it and a studio for green-lighting this. Should have gone through more workshopping. Still worth the watch with lowered expectations.

Unpopular opinion but I enjoyed the camera work. Nice long shots and stuff. The story wasn’t their but I did enjoy the camera work.

To me it just felt like someone trying to throw as many twists in one film as possible to excuse the poor acting and the lackluster filmmaking. It had some fun moments but I was mostly bored.

Movie was pretty good, cop turns out to be a bad husband, killer,child f**ker while almost the whole movie the child victim has grown up and come for revenge. You tripping if you thought this movie was trash.

I was actually really hoping to love it! Unfortunately the script was horrible and the performances were awful. The twist was thrown in to try to give the movie some level of suspense, but it just felt lazy to me. Glad you liked it though!
