#SEGE #videogames #convention Today, I share my experience at the Southeast Game Exchange in Greenville SC where I met some fellow RU-vidrs and picked up some Xbox games.
I was there too! I met Jason Griffith and Editor Riff. Penis Resale wasn't there on Day 1 at least from when I was there, but I definitely bought alot of games. Man, I wish I saw you Steve! 🥺
It was cool to meet and chat with you for a few minutes. You got there at a bout the right time. It was a bit crazier earlier in the day and Saturday had some big waves of people.

Black Flag is probably the game I adore most enough to buy Edward Kenway's hidden blade, Action figure, and shirt at launch when I picked up my Limited Edition at Gamestop back in 2013. Followed by a replica Blood Vail which is legit very rare to find. Wish the Switch port of Rogue & Black Flag didn't reprint as a code in a box, cus that's such a disservice to arguably the best OG ACs.
@@steviefreakinc Sorry no, I kind of stopped playing at Unity. Bought Syndicate/w the DLC on a really good sale once, but by then was a bit burnt out on the franchise to keep up. I know Shadows is highly anticipated over how fans have wanted an entry like this since before Black Flag.
@@steviefreakinc Seams Ubisoft saved it for when things got really desperate. Like now! After all their Tom Clancy, AC, Prince of Persia milking along with the various Walmart clearance shovelware titles failed to turn a profit. While burning hardcores away. This is probably why they're trying to get 1 last Beyond Good and Evil lick in before the company sadly folds. I heard the Shadows game is currently under fire by a Japanese Politician along with AI usage.
My COD clan played a good bit of Homefront at launch. It wasn't as polished a multiplayer product as COD but it did its own thing and it did have an interesting concept. Good pickups and good job on the footage editing. Good to see.
Hey Steve, I’m glad you got to meet Mort and JRPG. Nice of you to give thee xbox/xbox 360 some love. Those are my favorite consoles. Did you have a chance to meet Phoenixresale 😂 or the pixelgamesquad? Also how was the interaction witch fans?
I didn’t see Phoenix or Pixel Squad. They must have ducked out early or something. Maybe next time lol. I’m hyper focused on Xbox and 360 right now. Having a lot of fun collecting for them

Scott from Gamer's Alley is a good friend of mine... Cool seeing him at the beginning. If you go look at the Gamer's Alley RU-vid page and they first full video of a guy selling some games, that's me. I take Scott my duplicates a good bit and showed him a few items from my collection as well.
Kinda bummed I didn't get to plan and go to that, I didn't know about it. I just got back from a smaller scale one I usually go to in Cleveland, OH yesterday. I was kinda ballin', but the uncommon stuff I look for, a fat stack of cash is no match for the price tags. Was contemplating like half a dozen $100+ games, and it's rough. I couldn't get any seller to budge much on anything. I ask for like %20 off of a huge price tag for a niche title, the answer is always no, no, and more no. One seller thought his price tag was $90 so he said that's the lowest he will go, then realized his price tag was actually $100, so he's like "oh wait, I mean $95 is the lowest I'll go". Nobody else was gonna buy it that day, or even offer besides me, I'd bet on it. These sellers man, they've got a problem. They think they have to shake you down for every last penny they possibly could, and they will happily sit on these wares until they can find someone to shake down. I mean, would you rather make another $80 while you're there at a convention trying to make CASH money, or would you rather sit on it for a few more months paying fees or operating costs until maybe the right person comes along and you get that extra $20, most likely not even in cash. Folks don't use their heads when it comes to hobbies like this.
Conventions have to be played like every other thing. But yeah, they were gripping the grails really tight but willing to deal on cheap stuff in my experience
Awesome video man! Was debating on making the trip from the nc city that shares the same name as a colorado city, but couldnt justify the added cost of gas/time/attendance over snagging a few games off ebay instead.
@@steviefreakinc it was coming in at a shade over 2 but with work the next day and not having something exactly i wanted to buy wasnt trying to add $60-100 on top of the cost of whatever games. Cool to see a walk through-gotta do some of the stores in the area-gamers alley, video game world and the terrible grid!
Good old Splinter Cell games. I really miss the series. Oh btw. If you ever decide to collect every Splinter Cell game on the Xbox or other console (Xbox is the better version + some of these early games got free levels on the Xbox) Splinter Cell Double Agent on Xbox, PS2, Gamecube and Wii are a different game. Then on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Found that out just a couple of years ago. Got lucky and bought the Xbox version for only a tenner. Need to buy the Xbox 360 version again (and maybe Conviction)
@@steviefreakinc Here in Europe. Double Agent on the Xbox is not easy to find. Especially for a decent price nowadays. In overall I'm not an Xbox gamer. In rare occasion i'm buying here and there one Bought Crazy Taxi 3 a couple of weeks ago. I want to buy Outrun 2006 and Jet Set Radio on the Xbox also. I think that will never happen. Because they're expensive, rare and probably jumped way too late in the party for buying Xbox games.

I got Fan Expo coming in August (Canada’s biggest convention) will be there all 4 days I too intend on bringing home videogames. Videogame pricing is everywhere at cons, sometimes you can take advantage of low prices (depends on the game and console it’s on).
@@steviefreakinc that’s a good deal. I see where OG Xbox is less desirable because it needs fixing which requires tech savvy skills to fix and it’s a shame because it’s good console
Home front was my first Xbox 360 game I played on the console and Im not sure if it was an exclusive but I was a PlayStation guy at that time and finally got the Xbox 360 after the Xbox one was released
@@steviefreakinc that guy is really manipulative. He acts like prey but he's a predator. Trying to manipulate everyone into giving him attention and views so he can make money and not have to work. He's lied numerous times and has said that he's in such a bad financial spot but is a home owner and makes around 5k a month from ad money making crappy videos.
So that’s why my wife and I didn’t see you since we were there Saturday in the morning to early afternoon. I don’t mind crowds exactly, but it was super hot during that time and then the crowds died down after that. Next year SEGE is a 3 day convention. I might consider getting a hotel room since it’s about a 1 1/2 to 2 hour drive for us. Driving up wasn’t too bad although we met up with friends who I didn’t realize live outside of Columbia SC so all in all I was on the road for a combination of 6 hours. I am still recovering from driving since I’m not as young as I used to be. Still I did have fun and got my own pickups that I haven’t shared. Maybe I will on the Discord.
Yeah man the driving there and back for me was longer than I spent at the convention lol. But yeah, I was busy on Saturday already or I probably would have went then instead of Sunday. Still cool to go and I will go next year
I totally get that. I’m thinking about what my plans are next year. Granted it’s going to be a little costly, but I’m going to see what we can do for next year to maybe spend the weekend there. I haven’t done that in Greenville since I went to Magnum Opus Con many years ago.

I haven't watched all of your content, but I've seen your other videos where you trash youtubers and resellers. I wasn't a fan as they came off as bitter, negative, and all I could think was "What's really this guys issue?". That I don't have an answer for. This video popped up on my feed and I decided to check it out. It was cool seeing you do something that you actually enjoy, and hope I you continue to do so.
I think I have found Kung Fu Chaos like 3 times at thrift stores and/or Gamestop and every single time it is water damaged. I don't know what it is about that game lol.

I will keep it up, only because whether it’s a lie or truth, he’s still brought me entertainment for years. I’m glad he really doesn’t have cancer if that is the case. I forgive him. And nah Rick’s will be too far from me. I can’t go anywhere overnight because I have to be back for my mom and kitty

You do realize the 360 is back compat with og Xbox. Carbon is on the 360 so its not back compat, NFSU2(the best need for speed game) is back compat. Your Xbox 360 has to have an official hard drive or it wont play og Xbox games. Wikipedia has a full list and is way better than the xbox website.
@@steviefreakinc plays majority of og games. Official hard drives are cheap and easy to find. The cheap Chinese ones don't have the software to play backwards compatible games. I just went through this with a 360 I bought used. Hopefully I'll get it taken care of. Only OG Xbox I want is the halo one, which I got brand new from Game Crazy(inside Hollywood video) back when it was released. But my dad took halo away from me...yet never took GTA away from me lol.
@@steviefreakinc I know right? I could never understand that. I played Halo at my buddies houses though, took my halo Xbox with me everywhere. I'd have to have it cib mint because mine was absolutely mint. I don't know what happened to it truly. My dad always kept the game on top of a duffel bag in his closet, so I'd go in there and steal it when he was gone and play the campaign and when I saw him pull up, I'd run it into his room lol
You gotta link your RU-vid to your discord. There’s tutorials on here that can walk you through it. But once you do that, you should restart discord and then you should see an invite to the server
