Oh my goodness! One of the best renditions of this song … ever! And I've seen countless versions over the years. We had this song performed at the beginning of a funeral for a friend who had lost his life in a school shooting. He too, shall be released.
Nobody surpasses the late Richard Manuel in this song. And then we have the nice rendition of Chrissie Hynde who sang it at the Bobfest in Madison Square Gardens way back in 1992. This woman (Hadewych?) is far too much in love with herself.
I heard her version but it was with Warren Haynes, I think the young woman who's married to the lead singer of nickel back got her beat but I don't remember her name but she from Canada also and no am not a fan of nickel back.
She was doing well until she started to vamp too early, just a little of that right at the end would have been better. Also, she had some range and pitch issues. Not bad tho
