Doesn’t it feel amazing to run your hand over your scalp?? The hyper -sensitivity goes away after a while, but damn that first time is amazing. I’m feeling nostalgic for my 16 year old self who did this too. It was sooooo liberating and made me feel like a badass. 15 years ago it was even more of a crazy thing to do. But then like literally a month later Natalie Portman did it and it was suddenly cool in the mainstream.

Yeessss so proud of you! I've shaved my head twice in my life and I've always said that it's something every woman should do at least once. It's going to take a while to adjust but overall it's just so freeing and it really forces you to change your perspective on beauty and how you perceive yourself overall. I want to shave my head I have wanted to for a year now the only thing I’m afraid of is looking bad including with my acne. I did ask my parents they seemed like they were more worried about what others would think about me than my opinion about what I would think of myself but they did say if I really wanted to they would do it for me but they didn’t sound so sure about it

I first shaved my head 4 years ago...kept in a cycle of grow shave for a while. 2 yrs ago I shaved to grade 0 and its been such since. Love it. Wish I’d had more fun before shaving it off ha. The shorter you go the easier it is to get even, hence 0. I also have thinning light hair and any longer looks daft. It looks great on you!

I shaved my head a month ago, and by shaved I should say I left 1/4 of an inch left. I didn't want to commit and shave it all when I probably should've because it was short already. I have a friend who has shaved her head numerous times and I got to the point with my hair where I was tired of it. I was a tad lazy already, but with quarantine in place, I figured I might as well. My parents actually sat me down, with brother at our kitchen table and tried to convince me otherwise. My mom thought it was a horrible idea, and my dad did too. My mom was almost resentful towards it, and my brother told my it wasn't smart, but my dad said he would help me do it, if I truly wanted to continue with it. They gave me the night the sleep on it and in the morning I still had the same decision. I was going to do it. And I did. And I love it so much. It scared the hell out of me, and I knew that was another reason why I had to do it. I never take risks and I am always so scared of what others may think, but shaving my head has honestly boosted my confidence. My dad asked me multiple times if I owed money to my friend and she was blackmailing me to do it, which blew my mind. Why couldn't they see that this was what I wanted. They also thought me shaving my head was my way of coming out, and while that wasn't the case, I couldn't figure out why they thought there was an alternative motive when this was what I wanted from the root of who I was. I honestly love my hair short, and with quarantine it has helped me so much with my confidence and figuring out who I was. I had an itch to shave my head for a long time, and finally doing it was the best feeling ever. Oh as well as feeling my head under the shower head, was a beautiful and almost orgasmic moment for me. Proud of you for shaving your head, and going through with it. I truly think everyone should shave their head at least once in their lives. I am so happy I shaved mine, and now is the best time to do it! And it allows me to try out short hair styles that I never would've dreamed of trying. Love you and your videos Jess! Keep up the great work! Also, side note. Short hair is SO MUCH EASIER TO TAKE CARE OF! Showering is a BREEZE. Okay... I'm done. :) :) :) :) :) :)

Just some advice for anyone planning on doing this - it’s much quicker and cleaner if you set your guard at a 1 or 2. Also you don’t even need scissors you can just cut your hair with the clippers.

I shaved my head bald september 29 of 2022 due to trich and i have a lot of videos of my journey on my channel. it was the best decision ever, i'm so glad i did it. it felt so liberating and empowering, truly life changing 😍
