Mat, enjoyed the video as I have recently bought a 120d msport. Love the M look in these tiny BMW’s. Had a 323 msport B reg back in the straight six auto back in early 90’s. 1st one since then and loving it. Keep the videos coming for it.

I failed my mot with those bulbs 😭 the light is just a blob not a direct line. It’s a pain to keep changing them every year but they’re so much better! Looking good though.
Hey Mat. New to the channel. I have more or less the same car but an 09 Msport. Just some updated info on Cam chain issues. Although it is what it is, regular oil and microfilter changes can prevent it. Second main fault which recently set me back £700 is the relucter rings on rear drive shafts. If the fault occurs, you can temporarily turn it off by holding DTC button down for 5 seconds, but this is sadly another fault on an otherwise great little car. So much torque from that engine. Lastly. DPF clogging up fault can be stopped by using premiem diesel. Like Shell V power. Works fine for me. Cheers.
Paul Lockwood - the DPF fault can be cured just by driving it for longer, motorways preferably. The whole premium fuel thing is scam. Just a heads up to save you a few pennies!
@@Mattys_Channel Dude I'm so poor tramps throw ME coins but I still scraped together enough to grab a 120D (200k niles). Bargains to be had mate. Some of the last rear wheel drive compacts too. If you can stretch to it a 140i makes my mouth water lol, if you've got a really decent wedge check out the 1M only 450 made! (future classic, as such expensive but gorgeous!)
You should have considered spraying the part of the disk that sticks out black. There are actually brake dics you can buy where this part is painted. It will look better especially with black concave wheels. Im trying to get the bigger performance brakes on mine as well.

I have a BMW x1 2010 my motor blower stopped working. I have tried 4 mechanics,the blower works when connected to battery. The cables that supply power to the motor have signals but I doesn’t work please help on possible issues please

Mat when you start the car do these lights flash I have a 116i and I bought the same Ones you took out and they flash everytime I start it is obv the voltage check out but just before I buy them
Have you had any trouble with your LED bulbs? I bought the best (most expensive) Phillips LED bulbs some months ago, coded them through Carly and nothing has helped. They flicker alot, and once I start the engine the voltage drops on them making the light even worse than before..
