I empathize more with Obito because I can somewhat related to him, but I think both Obito and Kakashi had it rough, especially during their childhood. Obito was an orphan, a young kid living alone in an empty house by himself, he had had to feed himself and train himself with no adult taking care of him or helping him( He never a grandmother in the manga so she’s not canon). Obito never knew what it’s like to have a mother and father’s love. While Kakashi does know what a parents love is, but he never knew his mother and eventually lost his father and will never see him again, both situations are pretty tough.

Both Naruto and Obito never knew the love of a mother and father, well at least Naruto eventually meets his parents, but Obito never did. Kakashi and Sasuke know what a parents love is, but lost them. Honestly, I can’t say who had it worse because I’ve never experienced it. I have parents, but I can’t imagine what it’s like to not have parents in the beginning at all.
