I was born with a chromosome disorder that effects me both physically & mentally I realized to overcome my weakness is to lean on God's strength. (comment 2 of 3) In my early thirties, I became a darker and darker person (inside and out). I started wearing black everything all the time. My depression was constant and crippling, I suffered from *so much* intense lonliness, anger, hatred, fear, panic, alienation. My stealing addiction was out of control. My pornography addiction was *way* out of control - and I mean like, multiple times a day, every day, at home, at work, whereever. Before I talk about November of 2014, I need to briefly backtrack. Since I was very young, I had experiences at night that I used to refer to as “nightmares.” These got worse the older I got. They were so horrifying and I could never ever wake myself up from them. I only remember choking and not breathing when they would happen. In 2014, these “nightmares” were at their worst. They were happening regularly, and were far more acute. I realized that I was not actually asleep, but awake during them - and not able to move or break myself free of them. During these experiences, I would feel a sickeningly horrifying evil presence approaching me, threatening me. The terror I felt was beyond anything I had ever felt in this world. When they were near me, I had an unexplainable ‘knowing’ that this was the source that makes people do all the horrible things we do to each other. All the sick ways that people torture other people, all the worst things that we’ve heard about in the news that we can’t fathom. In the few weeks before November 2014, these experiences I was having were so bad that I began seeing these ’things’ while it was happening. They were very tall - like 7 or 8 feet, very black, and I knew through and through that they were *real, and evil.* Except, I was an atheist, and didn’t believe in God or in evil. During the last week of November 2014, these ‘attacks’ got so frequent and increased in severity that I could no longer function, and I started forcing myself to stay awake. I was awake for 2 days and almost 3 complete nights without sleeping at all, the fear was so acute. During this time, it was brought to my attention to call on the name of Jesus during one of these attacks. Of course, when I heard this, I immediately got very angry and starting cursing alot. But, I was so desperate. I couldn’t work, I couldn’t think straight or do anything normally! I was in my rational right mind, but yet I knew what was happening to me was real, however crazy it was. The third night, I couldn’t stay awake anymore. It was the middle of the night and I fell asleep. I had another attack, only this time I actually DID call out, in my mind, “Jesus save me.” All it took was saying it a couple times, and immediately - I WOKE UP. After *countless* times over *decades* of me choking and not breathing not being able to wake myself up. After I woke up, I was terrified because it happened, but in absolute *shock* that I woke up!! I stayed awake for as long as I could, but this time I could *feel* that evil ‘thing’ in the room, and I knew it was waiting. I just knew it. The last time I remember looking at the clock, it was 5:00 am. I fell asleep, and had another attack. This one was vastly different than every other attack I had had before. This time, I was completely aware of my surroundings - awake, but unable to move, and because of what was starting to happen to me during the attack, I KNEW in my bones that these “things” were trying to keep me down and put me in my place. Immediately, I said “Jesus save me” - and I woke up. And it was 5:20 am. And that was the last time. without a doubt. I cried profusely, confessed all the sins I could think of and asked Jesus to help me! I just spoke honestly from my heart, not knowing what the heck else to do! In the following few days, I experienced extreme changes in me that are difficult to articulate: First, I felt ‘darkness’ draining out of me. I felt changes in my heart that I didn’t understand. *My depression stopped.* I don’t mean slowly decreased, i mean STOPPED suddenly, after decades of suffering with it. *My desire to steal STOPPED.* After 20 years of desiring it/doing it uncontrollably. *My desire for pornography STOPPED.* 15 years of excessive porn viewing that i was an absolute prisoner of. *This was in the first few days after I started believing in Jesus, confessed my sins, and asked Him to help me.* In the following few weeks, I experienced a complete draining of the darkness I had in me for all those years. I stopped feeling angry, I didn’t hate anyone anymore. No more lonliness, no more crying. I felt a baffling peace in me that I had never once felt in my whole miserable life! I felt as if a massive heaviness was lifted from my heart. *I FELT FREE.* *I started loving people!* AND, I started loving people that I once *hated!!* All these changes were so fast and overwhelming, that I didn’t know myself anymore! It was unsettling because it was so new, but I knew it wasn’t a bad thing, so I just went with it. In the midst of all of this change, it took me 3 months to realize that I wasn’t even attracted to women anymore - and they had made up the majority of my porn addiction for 15 years! I now saw women normally, and felt as if I had never even had the attraction in the first place (the same goes for the depression, stealing and pornography!). *Please please* think about this for a minute. *Decades* of depression gone within days. *20 years* of compulsive stealing gone within days. *15 years* of heavy pornography addiction gone within days. Do you have any idea how many years of therapy it would take to ‘cure’ even *one* of those problems??? And with NO relapses?! I took NO medications, I had NO therapy, and I’ve had NO relapses whatsoever in any of those areas since November of 2014. Just Jesus and His healing love an mercy. All of that is *impossible* if it’s not God!! That God would stretch out his hand to this sinner - MORE than once - *even after I turned my back on him when he saved me from killing myself* - that is the reality and depth of his love and mercy! I would not be here today, period, if he hadn’t done what he did to me. Jesus wasn’t kidding when He said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” (Luke 5:31-32) He is so real, and He loves you! You not believing that won’t change that reality! (continued in comment 3 of 3)

We're little muddy children who admire Him and fall in the mud and get up and run after our Lord and call on His name and always strive to be like Him... Never possible in this flesh or in this life but afterwards, after all the pain and sorrow and struggles of this life, for He searches the hearts and minds...knows how much we groan for His ways and His righteousness, trapped in this body of death and He will perfect us and protect us from the wicked when we breathe our last breath

There is truly power in the blood of Jesus and the word of your testimony. Honestly, just listening to your story and the transformation that occurred in you life inspires me so much. I'm a child of 10, and basically all of my siblings are living in sin. I thank God for following me all my life and resting in my heart. One of my brother's is 19 years old, didn't finish high school, has a hot temper, 4 children all under the age of 2, and an addiction to marijuana (and heaven knows what other drugs). He's struggling to find work, and struggling to find purpose. Your story reminded me SO much of him. Looking for pleasure in sex, drugs, and money when Jesus is the only answer. My brother and I used to fight A LOT when I was younger, he physically abused me because he was bigger and thought that fighting gave him power over those who he inflicted-- in a way he still does. During those years, I harbored a STRONG hate for him in my heart. But, as I grew older I released this feeling of hatred. And I grew closer to God, this feeling of hatred eventually turned into love and faith for a better future. Now I pray for him often, I imagine him being redeemed by the Lord and telling his testimony to others. Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in the present and what we see with our eyes, but Hebrew 11:1 tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen. So I set my faith in Jesus, hoping that he will renew my family, and each of my siblings. Videos like this always rekindle that hope.
I am a recovering heroin addict. The Lord Jesus Christ saved me. I was lost! Satan had hold on me. But because I had faith that this was not my life that I was so tired and worn out from the life I was living for the devil. That I started to pray and ask God to transform my life and he did. I know that heroin is a hard drug to combat but I am a solider of the Lord and I had to do it for him. I have been 3 years clean. And I thank God for giving my life back. Thank you Jesus !! I was a back slidden Christian for a lot of years. I just came back to Christ in the last year. I am 54 now. I do have one daughter who is 23 and she is a prodigal daughter. Thank you for sharing your testimony! I can relate to a lot of your points -- used to do lots of drugs, was "spiritual but not religious." Then, after hitting rock bottom, I called out to Jesus Christ and I felt his presence light up my heart. I am grateful for the great Christians who planted the idea in me that Jesus Christ MIGHT be the Messiah... but it was only after I hit rock bottom that I looked to Him for Grace and guidance. I don't understand those that come on here and run when they see you allowing your vulnerabilities to come through. It should pull them in, and instead, they run away. Amazing testimony! I was also delivered from a life of hell. I was delivered from the homosexual lifestyle. I was a hippie, pot smoking, yoga lovin sinner. Now i am a god fearing, jesus lovin chrisitan. I was made new and transformed into the woman god always intended me to be!! If he can save me and bring me home he can do it for anyone!!! That's an amazing testimony brother Mario, I too was under the rule of the kingdom of darkness, I had generational curses from my ancestors, I struggled with lust and pornography, but the Lord set me free. I now serve him and live for him. Since I found Jesus, he has been changing my life for the better. I still struggle with a psychological addiction to weed. I told him I wanna stop for him and live for him but it is just so hard. He knew I wouldn't without help and I got caught a little later. Now is a year of probation coming my way and I am blessed for it. Me and my friend had a quarter pound of mj and got pulled over for " the license plate light being a little dim", stupid right? but it stunk so bad and it was truly a miracle he didn't smell it and land us over a year in jail that was God's mercy and warning. Then A little later I got caught in the most coincidental way by that same officer for only a gram. Thank you Jesus! I have court in about a week, and I also get horrible panic attacks so please pray for me! I have horrible tremors and I really don't wanna be embarrassed by them in front of all those people, but I'm trusting him to carry me through.
In our Christian path we move in seasons and these seasons are marked by revelation and truth. Kursten Barton As a person that was addicted physically to narcotics, I’ve got to tell you to take it easy on yourself. There are far worse things than thinking that you need s plant that our Heavenly Father put here to help us. I don’t think that weed in itself is bad. Smoking excessively is where the sin comes in. Prey to our All Mighty Creator and His Son our Savior ask about these things. I wonder what kind of answer that you’ll receive. I smoked for years and quit when it started to cause paranoia. May our loving Heavenly Father, May the Son , our Lord of Lords continue to guide you as you bathe in their Holy Light 🙏🏼

Thank you guys! I'm sooo nervous, but I have been using weed in a destructive way since I was 14 up until now (I'm 18 now), and used it to numb myself every part of the day. And yea I may be being a little hard on myself, my family has freaked me out by having gotten in trouble for this. This was a beautiful testimony. I was saved about a month ago and watching these testimonies is amazing. I was deep into the new age and had started practicing reiki. The new age movement is so deceptive. Now with the Holy Spirit I see the world for what it is.. when you talked about Hollywood that resinated with me and since having my eyes opened I can’t believe all the evil that’s actually happening. 😭 let’s continue to pray for Jesus to show people he is the truth. The most amazing thing is feeling God’s love.
I was a born again Christian. I started going to massage parlors. I became addicted to prostitutes. Now years later I keep praying that Jesus would come back into my life, and send his Holy Spirit back in my heart. Nothing happens. I think I'm still saved, but I'm tempted all time, I lust after women, even though I'm married. I need the Holy Spirit to guide me. I thank God, that even though I'm tempted, I don't go to prostitutes, and I haven't for a long time. I just want and need the Lord and the Holy Spirit back. Please pray for me. This is a very small portion of the whole story.

Brother Mario...my testimony is almost the exact splitting image of yours. It's crazy how the year 2010 was also my awakening from drunkeness, debauchery, sexual immorality, guilt, shame, conforming to the world, and overwhelming narcissism. I was at the age of 30 at that time when Jesus rescued me in a jail cell embarrassingly covered in my own urine after an arrest for my 2nd DWI the night before. It's very true, he does meet us where we are regardless of how filthy we are, evidently. :) I was introduced to the Gospels in January of 2010 at Lubbock Christian University but I wasn't transformed until June 26th of 2010. Although I was fed the good news in January and enjoyed hearing the Word, I tried serving 2 masters at once until that night of my arrest. Only then the Lord Jesus Christ revealed to me what that really signified. I praise him every day and thank him for using my testimony for the students I teach today. Wow Mario, this is the most real video I've seen. To willingly open up about your physical issues. Wow. Bless you. It sounds like we're very similar in age and went through a lot of The same things. Drinking, fighting, stealing, etc. It's pretty pathetic that the youths are basically encouraged by the media to act like this. After my hip hop days I got big into the punk scene and it's basically the same, "be rebellious. Drink, Fight and F***" there are songs literally called this 😳 I'm attractive and used it to my advantage in all the worst ways. But in my heart of hearts, I've always been a good person. I've only recently found Jesus and started reading the gospel. This gives me hope for myself and any future children I may have. My niece were sharing this video to me. Today all Day long while i was working N on my way home were singing The amazig grace song and were talking in thoungs and when i came home i were listning to this video where he say a few thimes amazig grace and that he was bilind but now he see.... I was happy bcz i know God listen to me and The holy sprit was with me all The way

Something that always overwhelms me to tears when I think about it is not God's love but God's GRACE received because of His love for us. I grew up in the inner city with a broken family but God had his eyes and hands on me. Yes you, me and every Believer who's received Jesus are NEW CREATIONS! 2 Corinthians 5:17 Now we're learning to identify more with the REALITY of who we are in Christ. I'd like to encourage you that God will restore your health as well. Jeremiah 30:17 "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the Lord..." By the stripes of Jesus Christ you've been healed, claim your healing and thank Him for it. 1 Pet.2:24 God has a Great Purpose for your life, your testimony Blessed Me! Thank You!
I share a somewhat similar teenage lifestyle. I was dead in my sins, but thank you God for giving me a new life in Jesus!! My joy comes from the finish work on the cross!
After hearing your testimony, i feel like we lived the same life in a sense....thank you.. i also came back to Jesus in 2010 trying to find a way out of an abusive realationship and it has been a journey....Jesus saved me from a coming death....i also say i shouldn’t be alive....something my mom once told me, life isnt hard because you dont deserve Gods Grace, life is hard because he knows you are strong enough to handle the trials and do the right thing. 😪 that changed my life. I no longer look at life like a struggle, but obstacles to conquer and faith to endure in Him. Tears of joy with you... i just had to blow my nose...heh...your doing great. Keep it up and know that conviction is a GOOD thing. If you didnt have it, then you would be a sociopath...and no one with a heart like yours wants to be that. Addiction to anything is so hard to come from when you are avoiding the feels you dont want to feel or trying to feel. I do my best to stay busy so i dont get bored and want to occupy with addictions. Its working for me...but my strong hold is my emotions and ptsd symptoms... ive developed alot of issues from that abusive relationship i was in for 7 years, that i am having to learn to cope with until the day i pass on....i cant be cured, but i can be better at managing. And i am getting better everyday and i thank God everyday i get through. Praying for you. And i saw your last vid, couldnt leave a comment and found this one...you are such a strong person for putting your faults out there to help others. God bless you. You will get through your trials. Powerful testimony my brother in Christ. 😊 How magnificent our Glorious Father is among everything else when His grace is poured out on us. 🙌 I give my children up to Him and pray so fervently for their salvation and that they will come through their younger years, as we did, doing stupid and rebellious things yet have The Lord watch and wait long suffering and with His mightiness knowing the perfect time to reveal His glory to them so that they will NEVER turn away from Him. I pray for all the lost in this world that they will raise their hands and give glory to God for eternity and I rejoice in thanksgiving for who I have been made into in Christ. All worship, praise, glory to our magnificent Lord God Almighty, Holy Holy Holy is He who was, and is, and is to come. 😊🙌❤️
What you speak is true, brother. I can relate to so many parts of your story. When you get in to the things of this world it literally kills your soul. I'm so thankful that Jesus has transformed your life, my life, and all the others he will reach through our testimonies. Grace and peace.

Your story touched my heart. I'm a Christian. I was baptized when I was 15. I've done Yoga for flexibility and stress reduction for 35 years. I try to thank God for his blessings when I do Yoga. I've never evoked spirits or demons from Yoga or mindfulness meditation. I can see how some specific practices like Kundalini could leave someone open to spiritual attack because they alter consciousness. I never wanted to contact spirits. I did have a demon experience on mushrooms one time at Burning Man. That was a really bad trip. I've been lucky that I never was a heavy drug user like you were. As I've gotten older I just don't really want to drink or use drugs anymore. I think that using psychedelics is like playing with fire. I think psychedelics can open spiritual portals, or trigger mental problems. I haven't touched psychedelics in 12 years.
