Doesn't have to be greed. Many people often do those gambles when they are done with the league. I did the same and made a gamble stream for my friends. I even had a mageblood, sold it and bought apothecarys for it just to gamble. It's just fun doing that stuff before quitting, doesn't matter if you nuke the currency, you are done anyways.

Always keep gambling. You can win 500% of your assets, but you can only lose 100%. Do the math!

@@rpemulis i absolutely adored eve. Had 7 active accounts and could not get enough of the complexity and heart palpitations from PVP. Watching some POE content reminds me of being in the first couple War Deccs and just getting screamed at on teamspeak and having less than zero clue what was going in but loving every minute. Still no other game to do that but I don’t have the time for Eve anymore.

The cards give full items when you complete a stack of them (their number turns blue). Mageblood and headhunter are top tier unique items and their respective cards are worth a ton of money. What ziz was doing at that table was gambling with yellow life force (you get that from doing harvest mechanic in maps) to either delete the cards or increase them. Those cards weren't his tough, it's common in this game for players to give those cards to their favorite streamers to gamble with, if they win, they just return the complete stack back to the other player

Gambling on items that can give you significant fractions of an equipment that I would compare to a T3 or Supercapital ship in Eve.

i bought a mageblood card, gambled it, got 4 and then it makes poof poof and i lost all 4, that was rly sad for me. Should just buy the 5 card :/ but i learnd i guess.
