Not only should Blizzard add the tab feature while spectating, but they should add a a group display where we can report players directly while watching the replay.

I'm in Plat/Diamond and I will tell you right now, even if it's blatant rage hacking, the team will not throw/tie. I've had some pretty blatant rage hackers, even in QP, and either the cheaters will immediately turn their cheats off to cover their tracks or the enemy team will say stuff like "You're just trash" and not believe you (or they do, they just dont care). It's so frustrating. Had a Hanzo rage hacking when I was on support, called him out at the end of the game. I got the SAME GUY when I was on DPS next game, called him out at the beginning of the game and somehow he wasn't hitting anything all game except when he cranked it in overtime. It's so frustrating.
Along the same lines I had a game where i was winning on tank playing hog then halfway through my gun, shot, hook, and trap went invisible then the enemies turned into dots or were just straight invisible. I started losing and typed in the chat what was going on and they all called me bad and said tank diff and lier. Then I sent some of them the clips and they just went oh my bad. There is no trust below top 500.
I think people have learned not to care in lower ranks because of the false accusations people make all the time. Like I’ll hit a couple good shots on kiriko or Mei and someone on the enemy team will be absolutely convinced that I’m cheating.
Thats why you don't call them out at the beginning of a game. You tell your team in team chat to watch kill cams then they all confirm and then when the enemy team is confronted with 5 players saying they are hacking its on them now, but yeah in plat they won't some diamonds will just depends.
@@mlad5274 most people will just say skill diff and tell you to do better. Better off just report them and then forget the game ever happens. Or record the replay and put it on social media and get blizzard to see it and ban it
As the blue teams sombra/soldier, this game was an unbelievable pain. the red teams sombra and echo was open to drawing, but halfway through the game they changed their mind and also wanted to be apart of the winner team. Red teams tank was the only one who was legit, left throughout the game and was just spectating. Our tank was trying his best to allow us to push, but wasn't manageable when the 2 other dps turned aswell sadly X) i agree, a better anti cheat should be really implemented
Honestly I think your tank might've done better going Orisa. Fortify makes it so that the cheater won't be able to hit headshots which would've made it much easier to just get in his face and run his ass down. But yeah, sucks that the dps started helping halfway through.
@nefartcompilation Problem with that is the verticality Route 66 has for second and third point. The cheater would just be able to duck behind cover on high ground and Orisa can't do anything about it.
@@pokimanefartcompilationWhile both Ball and Orisa have a way to ignore headshots, I think Ball was better for this because of the fact they did not look up a lot whenever Ball was swinging until Piledriver was initiated. Plus after Orisa runs through cooldowns and if they're not cycled correctly, she's just dead.
Blizzard needs to add the Overwatch feature that Valve had in CSGO. It allows trusted community members to review vods of cheating suspects that have been reported and apply bans. This human aspect will help clean up some of the community and will cost Blizzard 0 dollars to maintain. Also allows for banger content. 🍻
The problem with cheating in lower ranks is it’s IMPOSSIBLE to tell, like we had someone complaining our soldier was cheating but I rewatched the game and his aim was actual garbage. It’s hard to tell and everyone throws out accusations if someone is even slightly doing good.
That would bring too much attention to the fact that cheaters are an issue I think. Bad PR; could you imagine them announcing that in a patch. They would just say to report and that they will do better with banning players after.
Nah Overwatch players act like some weak b*tches half of the time and give up after first fight is lost. We don’t need to make their lives easier by having a button to give up. If we have more reasons to give up we are more likely to just stop trying or go afk. Plus probably get exploited too or even do some hacking to the button to trigger it or stop it from working like when they used to “Nuke” a server and cause the enemy spawn to not work let them exit
such a vote needs to require both teams to vote. Otherwise losing teams would just abuse this. and unfortunately that rossoneri playing Sombra seemed to be okay with helping a cheater.
And also valorant anti cheat can ban that person while the game is still happening and when that person gets banned everyone gets a red screen warning saying a cheater was detected and that game gets shut down and no one losses rr and all that
As a support main this is genuinely frustrating how they help cheaters, like they’re as guilty as the cheater... so annoying, like I don’t even like pocketing smurfs let alone cheaters.
There was this one time where it was QP and the one person other team accused my bf for hacking (he’s diamond, the rest of us is gold/plat) me and his siblings were like “he’s not cheating, we are sitting next to him, he’s just higher rank then everyone here” he was carrying us and the other person was just not playing the best going in alone into a 1v5 so not surprised he got upset for dying constantly
Me and my team played against this duo in Quickplay and the bap just kept saying he was a CSGO player and just better at games than anyone. The mercy has no game sense what so ever we killed her every fight but then the bap just locked and clicked heads. Its sad this guy and his Duo will never be banned because blizzard will never get a good anti cheat or anything that will see in games someone doing something like this and be like oh hey they are cheating.

Blizz anti cheat is even worse than gta 5 online now, and thats a fact. Just today in lobby of gta i saw about 7 people removed from lobby for cheating.
When you’re going against a cheater in low elo, it sucks sometimes- your team has to rely on you getting a headshot to kill the cheater (as a sniper) rely on your tank being good enough to get to the cheater (like a dive tank) AND hope they aren’t being pocketed as well…
I still remember my low silver days, where I had my second support confess that he was gm on his main, and was boosting his gfs account. I pocketed the shit out of him, and reported him after for smurfing/boosting. (This was on console)
I understand getting frusturated with anti cheat but these cheats do come with anti ban and are being updated at a high rate and blizzard has to keep up
I understand that blizzard "has to keep up" but as a consumer I don't care how hard it is to do, they are not an indie company and have the resources to do so. I would lick someone else's boots, blizzards are far too dirty.
@@Chazza-01 there isn't a single company that are ahead of the cheaters though. that's why there isn't a single game that has 0 cheaters. it's not a one time upgrade that eliminates cheaters, so there will always be cheaters in games. it's not bootlicking to understand the struggles of anti cheat
I've already said it everywhere I see a video about a cheater and I'm going to reiterate: considering people make money out of online multiplayer games, its about time governments start proposing laws based on fraud, larceny and such to punish cheaters. The amount of budget spent on punishing victimless crimes all over the world could easily be transferred into tracking and prosecuting cheaters and scammers. I'm not a legalist by any means, in fact there's a LOT of laws I don't agree with, but this one is definitely one I would get behind, considering the current judicial system.
I like that idea, but knowing the Overwatch community it would probably be used to hard troll lobbies and give people more of an incentive to throw games. Like, the pettiness of these people knows no bounds.
was 4 stacking with some mates and there was a pocketed bap on the other team. he wasnt cheating but we checked his account and he was a GM1 dps soldier main and unranked support. this was in gold, their other teammates were abysmal.

You'd think after like Jay3 and Flats having a massive collection of watching players hacking, and including some of their own games in the playlists, that Blizzard or someone there would've been like, "Hey these big name streamers are showing a real issue" and really work to fix it and make their anticheat at least competent. At least that instead of this hot garbage that we call Anti-cheat
If they had gone a shield tank - any of them - they likely would have won. Or if the Ball actually dove on them more skillfully and killed them since it seemed the Ball just.... rolled around a lot. Rein shield, have dps stand behind and shoot the Mercy/Bap, win. Sigma, stun, shield, eat, ez win. Winston dive w other dive heroes, win.
As a Mercy main i feel ashamed these people are giving Mercy a bad name. I would NEVER pocket a cheater no matter how many times they told me to kms. It's despicable!
Ran into my first cheater the other day. I'm gold elo, but this cheater was in our warmup qp game. Blatant widow hardlocking that the enemies called out and the cheaters defense was the classic, "just got out of widow hs" when I saw the potg... I felt so fucking bad for not throwing the game... Reported him and the mercy pocketing them after.. but the damage was already done.
yoi had boostzone in my game yesterday both of the dps were acting rlly weird boostzone was soujurn and the other was pharah pharah was legit not hitting anyone and the sojurn was just standing still and shooting nothing so i reported both for deranking just got the "thank you for reporting" noti today
Blizzard now punish players who leave a game be competitive or open q, so your captive audience for the cheater, which is exactly what they want. Full career profiles are private they shouldn't be and lastly. There should be an ability in a competitive game for a majority of players to agree and vote to draw. I cannot believe an AI cheat detection can't instaban as soon as this stuff starts happening. Cheating is completely out of control in overwatch.
Idk why but I haven’t seen that many cheaters often maybe two or 3 in the past month but I would usually find more then that for the amount of games I play
I play on console and I once had 70 kills with 5 deaths and 70k damage on reaper in a diamond lobby both my team and enemy team help our payloads for SOOOOO long
I need to figure out how when I play against moiras it only seems to be them. I will be wiped really fast I’ll get them down to the last pixel of health. Their health doesn’t drop anymore and they kill me everytime. Also when they use their primary it seems to be doing double damage but when I use her that’s not how it works. But then other games I’m killing her left and right.
I mean.. They should just bind these games with ID card and if you cheat, you will get banned in all the other games too directly to your name and everything.. That would solve this crap immediately
There is one thing i dont get. If you're supposed to draw, shouldn't you help the non-cheater team to charge their ults to make it easier to fight against the cheater?
Dunno if it's just me, but for some convenient reason, when I play Baptiste, and I fire at an enemy, I only hit them with the first and third shot, the second one never goes off... is it just me?
Sadly on console this is damn near every high rank game especially late at night on weekends. Ximming runs rampant like a mf and has so for over half a decade. On PC high rank at least most will draw the game when a cheater is spotted but on console most of high GM and top 500 is cheating their ass off and will deny it despite clearly ximming. Shit just isnt enjoyable to play in the slightest anymore
Players helping and supporting a cheater in a match are just as bad and harmful to the game. Call out the cheater and disrupt them the best you can while aiming for a tie or a loss. It's only honorable and fair
