as somebody who's really into Dream Emulator, the amount of rare events peebs got made me giggle. You DID play for a long time, jeez X3

It's 100% not LSD surprisingly! Though the name may likely be a play on words because "haha LSD trippy", its actually possible to purchase the dream journal of the creator of this game that this entire game was based off of (hence the official name being "Lovely Sweet Dream"). It's actually an amazing read *and much more detailed* if you can still find the translated PDF scan online. He used to have night terrors and would log his dreams/nightmares and eventually turned it in to a game upon completion of the (quite large) journal. Between the dates being so close together and the times being so late, it makes more sense to be legitimately dreams rather than LSD. Especially since getting LSD in Japan is not nearly as easy as it is in the Western world. It also sort of explains the re-occuring "dark/hidden man" in the game that begins appearing (and disappearing when approached) the longer you play the game. A pretty apt description of a sleep paralysis demon or something of the sort. As for the "upper and downer" part, it again seems more like a play on "haha lsd and drugs" and his fascination with western culture but ultimately a representation of "good" and "bad dreams". But the longer you play the more you realize the chart actually means nothing.

Its crazy how I watched PBG way back in 2012 and throughout the years, and now its almost been a decade. Time really flies.

The entire LSD Dream Emulator segment was brilliantly hilarious. The randomness was so on brand for the game I began to wonder if the "I love refrigerators" guy was actually in it.

I just love how the entire LSD segment contained sped up versions of well known video game and pop songs. As soon as the sped up version of ‘Everytime We Touch’ started playing I was quite literally howling, it’s hilarious.

I think "King of Crusher" is a Florida man simulator.

When you started with Ribbit King I immediately got a BLAST of nostalgia. My brother and I grew up on that game, it's crazy to think it's some rare expensive game now.

I love Ribbit King, I remember watching the Game Grumps play it a while back, I always wanted to play it.

Watching this video after getting my neck badly damaged from an akward sleeping position, i can safely say this video made my day. I hope to have more days like this more often. Maybe without my neck getting hurt though it kinda sucks to be forced to tilt your head to the right if i dont want my neck to hurt.

You should try Chu Teng or Eastern Mind: The Lost Souls of Tong Nou. Both games by Sato, the creator of LSD, which have a lot more to actually do in them. Plus Chu Teng has boss fights.

The statue of liberty is actually speaking French here (which is pretty funny and accurate tbh) so on top of the Japanese text she actually voice acts what she says in French. Here's what she's saying (I'm French Canadian): "Did you know that was expecting you? But do you really think you can destroy me? [...] When will this all end? What do you think you'll gain from this?" This is the best I could hear while Peebs was talking over her.

Ok, RIBBIT KING IS THE MOST WHOLESOME PART OF MY CHILDHOOD, the only game all six of my brothers and my mother loved to go head to head in, we had all the worlds, all the characters...just an incredible game and *so nostalgic* to even see the cutscenes.

Whenever I have my buddies over, one of the games that we play a lot is frolf. It’s got so much charm to it and has some fun secret characters to get. I was lucky to buy the GameCube version cheap

Wait. Rabbit king is rare?? Lmao I literally have owned the game since 2007 for ps2. Got at a gamestop back then for like 10 bucks. In high school I invited my friends to come over and play it. They were all amused and weirded out. Probably why I still have ribbitking and my friends are gone. But it's okay. Ribbitking is friendship. Ribbitking is family. Ribbitking is life.

It would be amazing to see Peebs play Ribbit King with the Game Grumps! Wacky antics are sure to ensue.

Ribbit King was something me and my dad put hours into because it was so much fun. My dad alone studied this game to find the best ways to win and get the most points possible, and somehow beat the two bosses that absolutely kick your ass if you're unprepared. Everything about it is genuinely good, and theres alot more strategy to it than you'd expect. HIghly recommend this game cause its underrated for sure.

There are a TON of weird yet cool games from Japan out there. Ever heard of Stretch Panic? Then there's that one game with the giant anime girl in a big city. Oh, and then there's a witch who has to collect candy to save the world.

It says a lot that I recognised both LSD: Dream Emulator and Ribbit King from the thumbnail.

I'm going to be 100% honest right now Peebs. I used to watch your videos ALL THE TIME back when I was in 6th grade (2012-2013) I used to watch you every day like clock work due to me going through my 2nd Legend of Zelda phase. Then my life took a negative turn, so I stopped enjoying RU-vid like I once did and I lost a lot of the channels I used to watch. But after a graduated high school (May of 2021) I found my old RU-vid account and started going through all of the channels I once enjoyed and found your channel being almost every other video that I watched and liked and all of the good memories and laughs flooded back. I'm so sorry that I lost you but damn am I so happy to see your videos pop up on my phone and in my recommended

hey peebs it’s been a while since i last commented on a vid, like probably 4 years ago lol. i just wanted to say thanks for always keeping me entertained, i first found you when i was like 7 and now i’m in freshman year, which i cant even believe. thanks for always uploading since then and stuff, uhhhhh thanks for really being the person to truly get me into the fallout series, i remember the fallout 3 collection videos and i thought it was awesome. thanks for being one of my favorites through the years
