Yessir… I love the old Kadaks!!❤ That little Starlet really shined! With editing the shots were great. I own quite a lot of Kodak box cameras. The the Starlet is one of them.
The first time I entered Krimz Kramz, I noticed a massive collection of reasonably priced old cameras, and instantly decided I would buy one. After noticing there were a lot of 127 cameras, I went away and ordered some 127 film, and then came back to the shop a couple weeks later. At that moment, I found and fell in love with the style of the Ensign Ful-Vue, so decided to buy it. BUT it readily takes 120 film, and now I have a roll of 127 ready to use, so I kind of had to buy a 127 camera too… thus my “accidental” purchase of 2 cameras.
Excellent video! Very interesting comparison and love the results. Kodak seems to be more sharp. Awesome content as always. Congrats on your junk shop finds, it is getting harder to find them as the value of the cameras go up with film popularity.
The Kodak was indeed more sharp, but when pixel-peeping the Ful-Vue it's actually quite sharp at the final detail level, but has so much bloom that it hides it all.
Thanks. In the end I might have gone a touch far on dehaze, but I think it's one of the best tool for removing... uh... haze (who would have thought!) from shitty lenses. No light leaks at all, amazingly.
