Yea he could sell them and have a lot of money, but once he does, he will never own any of these cards that he is so passionate about and spent so much time collecting. I get it and I respect him for that. I respect him even more for closing on this deal.

I can relate to that, when someone is actually in front of you making the offer. You can see his expressions and his voice and tell how much he wants the card for his collection. It is a huge difference from offers online.

Gary is hands down the legend in the entire Pokémon history. He build the foundation for the franchise since the beginning - he actually made the Pokémon Trading Card Game popular in America. Honestly, without him I don't know if Pokémon would be what it is today. You are a legend, Gary! Thank you for everything you did and still do for the hobby!
