I’m an avid thrifter, and I must admit it replaced my addiction to other condiments😂 I will say that pieces from BR stand the test of time and I seek out that BR label. Their classic styles never go away like fast fashion.
Ohhh ok, lovely!! I didn’t realize BR was this size inclusive! Mind you, I just recently found out that Jean sizes 32 and 33 will fit me, I thought it was waist size like men’s jeans. That alpaca sweater looks sumptuous!
If you tell me you want to show me something from BR I instantly know I will love it! I have been shopping there forever and there has never been anything I don’t love and their stuff lasts forever. $1500 is an investment but it is worth every penny for quality and fit.
Could you get a few of their "capsule" pieces? like the button down shirt (perfect shirt), wide leg Italian pant, etc, items that aren't just for the "Fall/Winter" :)
I love the Whiskey colored Barrel pants, very sharp. Also, the cashmere sweaters are really beautiful & so many beautiful colors, hard to pick just 1. Btw, you look great in the barrel pants & they look sharp with the heels. Thanks for the video! I also like BR for its jewelry too.
I’m 5’10”. When I look at the length of items on you, I know they will generally be too short for me sadly. I was able to get tall version of some pants
In the past month, I have rediscovered Banana Republic, and must say, I feel terrible that I stopped shopping there for years because I associated them with being part of the Gap and Old Navy umbrella, which I only took issue with because they were faster fashion that wasn't particularly good and their prices rose more than I liked. Both BR and BR Factory have impressed me so much in my recent hauls. BR Factory has gorgeous thicker satin pants that came in 16P and they are so stunning and drapey. I also invested in multiple staple items at Athleta. I am in Texas, so I like their blazer and Brooklyn Heights pants that are relatively lightweight, but decently tailored.
Great video! I have never shopped Banana Republic, but looks like I need to start! I LOVE several of the pieces you’ve shown! And the alterations right there is such an added bonus! At barely 5’ 0” I would definitely need it. And, since you mentioned your Talbot’s haul, you need to do another! They are showing some gorgeous pastels for winter in their new catalog! Lavenders and sea greens (not their name!) that are so unusual for winter but so fresh and inviting! I loved them immediately! Thanks again! Love your channel!
Thank you for checking out brands that make flattering clothing to put the best you in everyday life. I do agree sometimes $1,500 is not going to be for all but I can definitely see myself checking out the ones that most flatter me. I used to favor thrifting but my beliefs do not allow me to think I could come back with something extra spiritually speaking… I am more okay with accepting from the original owner of gently or well maintained clothes.
The BR and F is one of my faves, and I’ve easily spent that and more for this season. The quality is there in the majority of those items. Also, we need to find our comfort level in our clothes. I’m not the sloppy-length pants that are so in style now.
My favorite piece you tried on was the charcoal gray alpaca sweater. You should keep it and cherish it for years. I also would like to ask for some guidance on pant lengths. I am so confused right now as to what is current and what is flattering. Thanks as always. 😊

I love all of the beautiful knitwear but alas am allergic to all kinds of wool which really grieves me. The first dress you wore is stunning, I may try it on. Banana Republic doesn't carry true plus sizes, up to 20 is like extended regular size. Plus sizes do start at 14, but made for a more curvy body. Maybe Banana Republics can extend to 22-24. J.Crew has a better true to size plus/extended size for more curvy girls. Thanks tho.
Do you find their pants stretch out after a few hours of wear? I hate when that happens! I wish that could be noted in videos. You put the pants on and they fit great and after 2 hours at your desk they are way too big. :’(
Nice pieces! Is the Merino wool itchy? And is there plenty of room in the upper arms of the blazer? Also, how do you keep cat hair off your clothes? I go thru so many sticky rollers and I still have pieces coming out of the wash with cat hair on them! I only have one cat, but he shed a lot. I've tried the rubber paw shaped thing you put in the washer and I've tried the little balls you put in the dryer and nothing works!!!!
I love Banana Republic, however I disagree with you in regards to the length of th pants. A pant should hit the top of your foot, otherwise it looks sloppy. It also cuts off your leg. Do your research and you will realize that is the appropriate way to wear a pair of pants.
I must disagree with you on the “appropriate” pant length. Some ladies look and feel better at different lengths. And isn’t that what this channel is about. Looking and feeling our best!

I quit watching when you said Banana Republic doesn’t carry petite plus. I watch your channel for petite plus. Regular never fits me. Never. I’m short everywhere.
