I have also seen similar prayer box pendants that people write prayers on paper and tuck inside.

Those are definitely NOT AUTHENTIC Betsey Johnson pieces! The first clue is Betsey does not use that style chain on any of her pieces. There are HUNDREDS of these fakes on eBay sadly. If you ever get a true Betsey piece, you can tell the difference immediately. If you go to her website, you can see these aren't Betsey necklaces. I got scammed when I first bought one of these off of Ebay and then I learned. I only ever bought from her website directly or once you know, you can tell who is selling authentic pieces. That chain is definitely the biggest giveaway. Also, a true Betsey chain will not tarnish after wearing it once or twice. Yes, these fakes are cute and sparkly and you can pick them up for as low as 3 or 4 dollars on Ebay. Just know they are fakes that do come with FAKE tags. Her tags have a white sticker on the back of them. If a seller won't show the back of the tag, you can bet it's fake. Also, that little heart hang tag on the fakes is different than her real hang tag. Just wanted to let you know because sadly paying 8 dollars each was probably way too much. Hope this helps you in the future because some Betsey pieces are worth decent money 😊
