Watching gem play skyblock has always been my favorite thing ever. I’ve watched every episode of every one of her sky lock series and 8m in love with all of them. 3 years later I still come back every two months or so and rewatch 😂
One of my favorite moments is tokoyami in the middle of a fighting having to call out “_Can’t Stop twinklinu!_” in English for help idk thought I was relatable I watch the anime in sub (dub is for dum dum)
i’m always so impressed at how much you can do with a simple world, ESPECIALLY in series’ like this where you have such a limited variety of resources, you still manage to make the world look amazing. and in survival too!!! wow.
Honestly Day 6 is exactly why I never use wood to expand the island, but instead use cobblestone haha. I love your vibes Gem thank u for the smiles Hit tip: you don't have to sleep through the night to prevent phantoms. Gem 2 years ago: I don't claim to be very good at PvE or PvP, but I'm practicing Gem 1 year later in Hermitcraft season 9: legendary warrior GeminySlay who PvPs ALL of Etho's heads and has a dungeon where she stores the heads of everyone involved including guests from other servers, all won in a fair PvP fight.
I cannot believe how well Gem treats her villagers in hardcore, giving them names, making their village look STUNNING 🤩 while in skyblock, I WILL PUT THEM IN ETERNAL TORTURE AND FEAR
this video was absolutely delightful to watch and I'd love to see more content like this... but I feel really bad because editing this must've been an absolute nightmare
Tip: For early game skyblock the first thing to make after a stone pic would probably be one set of stairs and some slabs. If you place the slabs on top of the lava you won’t burn yourself and the cobblestone has a lesser chance to burn as well. If you water log stairs you can keep the water from driving the cobblestone into the lava. It also takes up less space. It’s much more efficient then before and if you want it to be even better, you can place a wood block behind the generating cobblestone so you can just afk with like a heavy object on you mouse. This is a really simple early game upgrade that can tremendously help the efficiency. If you made it this far thank you for reading I hope this really helped!❤

i've never been very interested in the skyblock gamemode but this video really made me want to play, it looks hard but it's such a nice challenge, and definitely worth the time spend on it. i loved it ❤
It's more time consuming than it is challenging. A few RU-vid tutorials will show you how to get past the early parts if you are not sure how it's done. The challenge is getting through the boring early parts, then its fun when you start building villager centers and farms for all the resources. It's easy to build super efficient mob farms in sky block because there are no other areas for them to spawn, no need to quarry out huge areas or light up caves.
It's so funny watching this video now, hearing Gem say repeatedly that she's not good at PVP and doesn't like fighting... *repeatedly destroys Etho in PVP*

Gem in skyblock is the reason why my anxiety in nursing school is manageable. Her skyblock videos are the background noise to all of my studying/homework assignments and are the sole reason why I haven’t gone off the deep end yet
