I spent 100 days in Stardew Valley boycotting Pierre! This video took WAY too long to play and put together but I'm proud of how it came out, so let me know your thoughts! By the way, I used no mods in this playthrough. Also, I still hate Pierre, Elliott probably has a house stuffed with wet seaweed, and Abigail is greater than Yoba itself.
Also if there are any mistakes in the editing no there aren't.

If this series continues: id recommend checking the traveling merchant every Friday and Sunday because you may find a strawberry that you could put through a seed maker, so you wouldn't have to pay that scoundrel Pierre for some.

The traveling merchant also has a chance of having one of the 6 types of fruit tree saplings in stock that is normally only really sold at Pierre's, and if your lucky, there is a chance to get them at a discount on the retail price, but I recommend the traveling merchant anyways cause there is chances for not only normally out of season/year items (on a community center run the red cabbage is the big one there) but other rare goods as well.

@@gabe2902 Rare seeds are a given purchace from the traveling merchant, but I stated my comment around things that could normally without the cart be only obtained at Pierre's, though if a person is money wise in their first year, they can get all the needed next year year1 seeds at the night market for same price as Pierre's without buying from him as well, but if you go with buying cart items to not buy from Pierre's, using seed makers are a must and usually within 2 ingame years you can become entirely self producing for seeds at least.

To be honest, I didn't know what to do in stardew valley for a long time so it just kind of sat on my computer. Then I saw this, it actually gave me a sense of what to do and inspired me to commit to a farm instead of getting bored after summer starts. There's also his quest on the new special orders board where he tries to sell the 25 gold quality produce you bring him for 25,000, then asks you to buy it all back for 2501 because no one can afford that, 1 more gold than he gave you for them. Or how some of the Stardew Valley residents mention buying high quality produce that came from "Pierre's garden", right after you sell him any.

I laughed so many times watching this. Great video. I used to be scared by skull cavern too but some helpful youtubers made good skull cavern guides I could follow. I get why it feels impossible when you have a bad sword and no slime charmer ring
