Yes. It’s the newer HLR75 iBrid machine used during the test spots. It’d take a long time to do a whole car without something bigger, but totally doable.

Correct, I did not polish around the letters. Very easy to blow through the paint on those painted letters. Those letters are very expensive to buy and shipping wait time is unreal. We have used carpro ultracut, the Sonax line, the menzerna line, rupes line, and find m101 to be really effective. Used the wool pads in the past and the backing plates on these pads fell away very quickly. Everyone has their own opinion, but the best combination is the one you prefer and gets the results your after. I believe i did this with this car. I would like to try the Koch Chemie polish line at some point.

@@OmniGarage Tape them and use a nano machine. Thats the way it should be done. m101 is good but there are stuff that cuts more with better finish like i said. I havent really used it for atleast five years. Rupes blue wool pads are not the most durable especially in 3" variant, but i cycle many pads so they last decent amount of time. They did change the wool pads, i got the new versions with my hlr15 and hlr21 and they are supposed to be more durable. Koch Chemie h902 and F6 are great stuff, but the M302 is good but not great polish. You really should try Gyeon lineup too.

@jtm1979 Yeah, we are really keen to keep trying new products this year so will look to pick up the Gyeon and Koch Chemie lines. We did cut in using the iBrid Nano, however to get the best results we’d have needed to remove the letters and reapply. We have a few of the new wool pads so will give those a try on the next vehicle. Durability is a bit of a concern but we'll see how these respond!

@jtm1979 until you pull the tape off. The coating off them peels off and your left with this ugly paint peeling letter. Trust me I have done this on a pervious Range Rover.

@@OmniGarage Well i havent done any Range Rovers so i cant say. But how bout using some quality tape like Kamikaze etc rice tape?
