@@lightdarkequivalent7143 I did that once. Had an immortal guy who had lived nearly 900 years as King of a nation expanding it from one side of a continent to the other. He had over 200 kills on his own. I decided to give him madness, take him to an island I made, cure him of madness, have him make a kingdom separate from all the rest, and then gave him some friends and over time migrated other old characters over there using the same strategy. They all lived out the rest of their lives on that island with their immortal king, a warmonger gone pacifist.
Steven was truly cursed by greatness. He never asked for immortality. He was a humble man, a farmer. All he ever wanted was to tend his crops and love his family. He did not demand authority; authority was thrust upon him. And he took it wearily upon his shoulders as a true savior would. Steven knows that history will be unkind to him but he also knows that there are ages which demand tyrants as well as heroes. Who among us can truly disagree with him?
you know... when Gorg said "we're gonna name him Gorg. no, that's narcissistic. we're gonna name him Steven." and even before the Realm of Steve was named I had a feeling this wasn't a coincidence... what if, and hear me out on this one, Gorg's real name IS Steven and he's been narcissistic and throwing us off without us even knowing?
I disagree that Steve didn't play catch with all of his many hundreds of thousands of sons. I choose to believe that he was such a docile and friendly man that playing catch with that many people was all he spent his time doing. Then one day someone said, "catch this knife dad!" and Steve was no more. Absolutely tragic.
If you could name a villager Alex in your next one, I'd be so grateful, I'll come right to your house and clean it top to bottom...or something. We'll see how it goes.
Okay. So, Pu, and Mok were rebellions of Steve. Mok held onto the old land, rich in Steven History, mostly. I'm actually very happy that one of the oldest kingdoms stayed in mostly the same spot.
This game has so much morre potential for the mordern fantasy and magic aesthetics like taming wild beasts, army including tamed beasts, visible defense formations (graphics), canons, warships, dungeons, etc. And some features like being able to aggro two creatures I guess... Sometimes it's just fun to see two opposing races fight to death.
Thought I’d share the story of one of my recent worlds, It is the story of the reign of a mighty orc demigod chief, a demigod with every blessing and talent to be had, starting his dynasty by building his camp with his own hands in the harsh deserts of his birth, Drugolak led his people to greatness, wielding his flaming sword and donning his adamantium armor both armaments of legend, he led his army to crush the long lasting dwarven cities in the southern mountains, he brought them to the east and vanquished the immortal elders of the elven council and laid waist to their forests, he led his men across the great northern sea to pillage and plunder the coasts of the plains continent and the human empires, but his journey did not end there, for he then continued his campaign of war to not crush, but instead to conquer the scattered orc tribes of the many islands between the north continent and the center land, bringing each tribe under his banner and spreading his glory throughout history and the world, Many battles he faced and many hardships he triumphed over, but his greatest challenge in his 983 year dynasty, and the one he never returned from, was when he braved the perilous, savage, jungles of the west and challenged the great ferocious beast, REBA the random monkey,🐒 , along with her vicious horde, he stood no chance when they barred their fangs and ripped him and his 20000 health apart. And so came the end of his tale, without his guidance and strength to hold the tribes together, they splintered into fragments of their former glory, rife with civil wars and rebellions across the land, and in this strife the remnants of the other three races seized their chance and attacked the warring tribes on all fronts, in the chaos that followed, the once great orc people fell again to the bottom of the world’s order, crushed under the boots of humans, elves, and dwarves alike, and so Drugolak’s memory lives on only told by word of mouth around the hearth by orc parents to their young, a tale of hope, hope that one day the orc tribes will find a new chief to unite under and rise again(perhaps one that won’t be killed by a monkey).
@@wen1985 I thank you for the kind words friend, It was not easy following Drugolak back then, it was a large world and I was on my phone, his battles shook the heavens and crashed the world many times throughout his dynasty, but i was already invested in his story by that time, I followed it until about one hundred years after his death, (fun fact, the humans also ran into Reba, and though they didn’t lose any kings, they crippled themselves with decades of attempts to colonize the wild jungles, and were soon destroyed by their greed (and the elves’ ridiculous expansion after the orcs’ fall from power)), but that’s where I stopped following the story, there would certainly never be another Drugolak, but perhaps one day a new chief would sail the seas, and I felt that was the best way to leave the story. I’ve been reminded of this world a few times over the last week, it’s made me want to do another long world like that, a story following elves, driven from the Great Forest, and striving ever onward to be able to retake their ancient homeland. But I’ll wait to do that until the next update releases, it has so much storytelling potential.
Love the rebellions! Hope you go back to previous maps you've done with a single winner and do the same there; turn on rebellions and see if the kingdom can hold itself together.
I found this video randomly and the first thing I that I noticed was how he sounded remarkably like GregBroDudeMan. I honestly had no idea he even had two channels, much less an entire channel that's exclusively for WorldBox.
Speaking of Summerset Isles, you should do more content involving the elder scrolls. Maybe the Skyrim video again with the new army system, or Morrowind this time. Or Cyrodill
I like to imagine Holy Bic's culture basically turned it into a giant nation sized monastary so people just spend their time praying, eating, studying and gardening and that's why they just spent their time chilling on an island.
a neat little thing about the lore is that mok kinda made realm of steve survive , since they both had the same saying one went "in destiny we trust" steven being that destiny and mok went "destiny brings pride" They seem to uphold the steven religion
I bought this game for mobile. I've spent alot of time just building a world filling it with resources and animals, then comes the people or other races. After that I will set time to go faster then I just let it go for a good while before checking back in to see how things are. It's fun to occasionally just blow up a town or two of they'res randomly to see how they will adapt to it.
I was rooting for Holy Bics success that whole time they just kept to themselves and stayed at home on their island they didn’t start anything and just wanted peace I’m so happy they survived XD
It was about one or two years back i got 10,000 Years into worldbox it was also during the release of the boat update and it was really only maxed out old worldbox homes everywhere and alot of boats.
Found your channel looking up things for world box I find you to be funny and to be a pretty coolio guy man I hope you gain more subs n looking forward to new vids man. Hope you’re having yourself a good evening and happy early Easter:D
Like A certain someone, I thought Steven was gonna switch sides then rebel make his own kingdom again, then betray those and rebel or switch sides and continue this forever and ever until he dies. He almost did but he died. Also, hey final video of the year as a good one.
I wish world box got the point where civilization is today they have military bases roads cars Ships actual navy ships and hospitals and elections and presidents possible corruption lol but that would be so cool I wish some mod mod like that comes
@@dankboi4792 maybe naval warefare but not others cause the devs stated they weren’t going to do that since worldbox is a medieval fantasy themed game but maybe mods in the future could accomplish it
@@daconday yeah agree it would get a little too complicated the devs should make another game like this one but a little more modern like modern box or whatever they like
I have an immortal king in one of my worlds. When I found him he was sad and his bones were broken. He wouldn't eat either. I fixed his bones, blessed him, and gave him cows because he liked burgers. He never cheered up and continued to starve himself. I changed to world rules so no one would die from starvation. Then I gave the king extra protection whenever he went to fight enemy invaders. He's been sad for a thousand years at this point and killed 2000 people, including children, because he's a psychopath I guess. Also he's fathered thousands of children. I'm pretty sure, at this point, he's the ancestor of everybody on the planet.
Tbh i was rooting for a Holy Bic - the last desendant of the Realm of the Steve and underdog of this map; was hoping for their last push and getting some land. but anyway great video.
I miss you and your wonderful humor Gorg. I hope you upload a new video soon. ☺️👍 Also, I hope everything is going well in your life. I hope you get that promotion at work, get that girl you always wanted, and hit the freakin’ lottery. Much love brother. ❤️
The animals are 160+ because the world wasnt paused while building so the animals were still spawning and aging. and everything saved that is why the world started at 100 or 200 smth
