In today's video we keep up an annual tradition - I will be spending 12 hours straight in the Pale Heart! In this time we're gonna see just how much this new destination has to offer - and spoiler, it's a lot. The top of my D2 wishlist is adding more destinations like the Dreadnaught and Pale Heart in terms of content - the secrets in the pale heart and dreadnaught as well as overthrow and the public events on the Dreadnaught were some of the best, it'd be nice to have every planet's patrol actually be fun and rewarding.

i spend 12 or so hours (with breaks) in the pale heart on the search and grind for my perfect ergo sum. Vortex frame and wolfpack rounds. still have yet to get it so the grind keeps going

Vortex frame is the worst frame for ergo, as vortex uses the most ammo on heavy attack, keep searching king 👑

You might wanna hold on to some of those perfect fifth roles, if you get that with caster frame it's one of if not the best sword for dps in the game ^-^

One of the highest things on my Destiny Wishlist is more visual weapon customization. Customizable sights/scopes (including iron sights, small scopes for things like hand cannons, low-zoom scopes for snipers that don't block your field of view, etc.), grips, stocks, accessories, etc. would be so cool, and being able to mess with the appearance outside of shaders and occasionally ornaments would be awesome imo

I know a lot of people hated it, but the grind to get the exotic swords in D1 was one of my favorite quests. The class item farming is the same feeling and I love it.

When i got to the pale heart for the first time i spent so much time there doing the activities in all three zones that when i found out about all the exotics i could get there i had already done like 80% of all the work needed to get them, and i had the same reaction tony start did, “Well how bout that” was pretty funny moment.

Apart from the Khvostov quest being unnecessarily long, Pale heart is great. It's the most generous destination regarding activity to reward ratio.

I would love to have a way to rewatch the cutscenes from the expansions that are fully available at the given time. Like imagine going to ikora and there’s a book next to her which allows you to “study” the past which is just us rewatching cutscenes.

Toad you should try a game segment where a word is placed on top of the guesser's forehead. The goal of the game is to correctly guess the word in under two minutes. The word-guesser must ask a series of deductive questions that becomes more specific over time, while the other player must only reply with yes, no, or maybe/possibly

The irony of this is just that there's so much to do in the Pale heart that I unironically spent 12 hours grinding without even realizing it lmao. I am in love with this destination, from the overthrow activities to the pathfinder quests, and even the cyst's (Minus the moth one, screw that one). The fact that you get distracted so easily is actually what I love about it.

I would love to see a creative mode in destiny 2. And what I thought it could be is maybe creating your own strikes, dungeons, and raids. Maybe even more than that. And having a little icon so you can see what other people have made, and even play it for yourself.

I spent 12 hours in the Pale Heart just doing the Legendary campaign (without the raid and Excision). Then another 12 getting Khvostov (the investment paid off). I'm also gonna spend another 12 doing the raid. Wasn't bored though, just tired.

A couple things: 1. The daily rotating Overthrow always grants an Ergo Sum on completion 2. The perks Ergo Sum rolls with are not tied to the damage type. You can get a Solar/Void Riskrunner roll on it

Unfortunately the damage type is tied to perks except for Wolfpack rounds and gathering light which can be any damage type. So arc conductor will always be arc, perfect fifth will always be solar, unplanned reprieve will always be void, etc.

Yeah, you can only get the class item drops if you already did the dual exotic quest though. And they are not Paranormal Activities, they are Paracausal Geometries. They are notated on the map in the general area as Paranormal Activity.

I haven’t had this much fun exploring a destination since the Dreadnaught. Bungie cooked real good with this one. The Pale Heart has very quickly become the one true destination in this franchise that I honestly just straight up enjoy and vibe with. I just don’t want to be anywhere else, because everywhere else is just… boring.

Only thing I want from the pale heart now is for bungie to add some more evergreen content to the pale heart. Like maybe have each overthrow zone have rotations of foundry weapons or past seasonal gear. Like maybe one day the blooming drops plunder gear then another day it could drop risen gear, sort of like the targeted loot system from the division 2.
