I Spent 200 Days In Dinkum And This Is What Happened... 

Crabpots, mainland, not island. Two tiles deep for the pot with one watery tile to stand on and bait with turkey leg (best). Dogs and Mu (eats a quandong) don't eat too early in the morning. Tuckerbox, jumping with activity around 7 or 8pm. Mark pearl sites on your map and revisit in 10 days for another pearl. Cook the fish for double the money and makes the fillets stackable (no crap pots won't work with fish). Leave a chest outside Johns to store treasures out of hours. Guitar pets all the animals at once! Keep a few resin to run the headlamp in the mines. Ted Selly bat zapper stuns everything in the dark that have eyes (including alphas). Also pops toads and jellyfish.

The crab pot works when baited with meat (raw or cooked) and kept in the water that is two tiles deep. It can be a little water hole that is made by us (player). It catches crabs in the river but might even catch things like gum logs, for some reason. Saw another commenter saying that cooked turkey / emu drumstick is the best. I have to try that out myself. It is best to have a step down in to the water, meaning a point where the water is one tile deep to stand on and then the two tile deep point with the crab pot in it. This means putting meat into the crab pot and collecting the catch becomes easy, otherwise we have to swim to it. The tuckerbox works from 10 to 3 and from 6 to late (all night). Sheila will sell some food and will buy the food of the day for a higher than normal value. This is not very useful as such but it is fun to walk in to the restaurant on the evenings and apparently weekends to see the NPCs sit there. It should work with the Bloomin' Spring update.

What you picked up is called Jelly because it’s from jellyfish - also sorry but 'choo-k' just doesn't sound right to me - If you don't already know, giving Franklyn the shiny discs will allow him to unlock new recipes of cool things he can make for you

I‘m glad that you made this second video of 200 days. It was relaxing, entertaining and just overall nice to watch. Thank you so much for putting in all this time and effort. So, I'm here after watching your 100 days just a minute ago, and it was so damn entertaining, I can't wait to sip my tea and watch this one as well! I'm quite new to Dinkum myself, and I wish I had the foresight like you did to build it town-like. I just dumped all buildings on the beach myself, and I struggle with space now. xD Edit: Thoroughly enjoyed the video, I really do hope both of you will do the 300 days next! So for the people's hearts, with all the jobs you do for everyone I can't believe they aren't at five hearts yet, you know that if you don't complete a job you lose hearts, right? So never take a job unless you know you can complete it. I had a little area where I'd stash extra bugs and fish, along with keeping some cooked fruits and meals in a chest ready to go, saved a good bit of time. Also there is a calendar on the community board with the birthdays, I think giving them the favorite gifts gives extra hearts. And it's been a bit since I played, but maybe your crab pots need to be one tile deeper? I seem to remember when I'd fill mine with meat and the little top closed you couldn't see them, so I'm thinking they might be too shallow. I haven't seen the truck yet, very nice! And really hit Theo up, once his hearts get high enough he sells books for bugs and fish that are awesome! Thanks for sharing the fun, I think I'm gonna fire up a new game now!

I'm prett sure I am not good at this game. Been playing it and got 40+ hours in it without much googling and I am in my 2nd year and I've only gotten 2 residence and the museum. Fletch is still a base tent. I've done no farming. I'm amazed at your progress in so little time. Kudos.
