Thanks mate, glad to hear that! You and your MS Paint art have been a big inspiration and I can say likewise with the improvement part. Always fun to see your work and streams! 😀
Thank you that's very kind! It's a lot of hours put into practice as can be seen in this video. Not to mention that I already had years of experience with both digital and traditional art before I started this challenge! :)
do you realize that you use the word "talent" you deny thousands of hours and work people do to be on this level? No one wakes up and gets this good with "talent".
R.I.P. to this phase. This is how i met you. I'm happy to get the chance to tune into your journey and i look forward to everything you do. There is so much out there for you.

I find it a good idea that you branch out to traditional painting methods too. You tried MS Paint, did some amazing pieces there, but it's better not to constrain yourself to only Paint.
What is most surprising about all this is that you have resolved a question that I have always had, is it possible to draw well with the mouse? , well.... I see that not only is it possible to draw well, but also incredible works of art can be made 😅👏👍💪
Thank you so much for the nice comment! 🙂I suppose for me painting with a mouse is not that big of a thing since that's how I have always done it for over 15 years, but it definitely wasn't easy at the start!
this is such a godsend channel- i have got no idea abt colours etc and i couldnt afford ps or other apps so ms paint ftw tysm pro for sharing tricks and tips and your splendid journey
I have watched every one of your videos and always look forward to the next one. I'm amazed, either the challenge year is over? You have taught many things about your art to others, but you have taught the viewer patience through your own patience. You are a Mega Talent. Thank you I have got walk the path with You.
Thank you so much, the one year art challenge is not quite over, since I started it while I was already making art on Microsoft Paint. I think I'm currently on week 44 and week 45 starting soon. But "challenges" will never stop, there will only be new ones. 🙂
As someone just baaarely dabbling into drawing Like.. not even sure i wanna draw. Not sure if i should pick this hobby.. I'll say seeing the way others consider Paint as the most limited tool out there with better free options, it made me scared. Scared that perhaps I didn't have the proper tools needed to learn, nor the skills to get past anything other than 2000s-2010s emo anime wolf phase. (Gosh i can't believe that was over a decade ago lol. My childhood man!) But seeing you and your art.. it reassures me. Even if i don't know half of what artists are using today, i can still maybe make some great art! Sure, lil rough n sketchy, but thats okay. Im a beginner.. and my tools may hold me down slightly, but it'll teach me the basics. So yeah.. i just thought id share my thanks!~ Thank you for making this video. My art isn't fated to be 2010s cringey and 'blocky'. There's a chance for me to create something special! I just need a lil bit of determination.. and you helped give that. Thank you, always. Have a good day/night friend!~
I started my digital art journey with a mouse, using GIMP. It was a lot of fun. Even years later, when I'm using a tablet and have moved to Krita, I remember this period fondly
One thing I love about MS paint is when your draw and don't like the last stroke you can right click to immediately undo the last stroke, wish more programs had that OP feature 😂
Amazing life story. I just only stick to drawing in Animation Magic's CD-i artstyle as well as some MSDOS Games with similar aesthetic (Cartooners, Cartoony Broderbund Games, and more) due to AI Art being a thing. I realized that going against AI Art is now becoming pointless.
Thank you! :-) If you have found your thing then by all means keep doing what you enjoy! As long as you don't limit yourself just because AI art exists.

I say wave good bye to MSP and onward to new challenges that activate those same gray cells but in a whole new medium or format. An Artist needs challenging things to better their selves and new rewards come from those things that excites the muse in us all to new levels of achievement, accomplishing growth and renewal of that spirit that makes us Artist! Chirp-
I have used GIMP a bit in the past, but it feels like a lesser version of Photoshop. I have heard Krita is alright, but I don't think I need any other software alongside Photoshop to do "serious" art/design digitally. In my opinion Photoshop is the best program out there (although a bit pricey for sure).
Understandable. However if you are going to do digital art / photo-editing on a daily basis (like I do), the other alternatives are simply not as good.
