My kids have the same nose so I have to find beauty in it. I would hate to say "I hate my nose" in front of my daughter. I want her to see her nose as unique and perfect for her face. The night before my surgery I remember having almost an existential crisis...every cell in my body was telling me to run outta the hospital lmao I started thinking why the hell am I doing this, who am I really doing this for...do I really hate myself this much? Or is this self love? Changing something about yourself is exciting but it's also emotional (and I'm not an emotional person lol) maybe it's different for me because I didn't get the result I wanted but I kindve expected my life would change and all my insecurities would be gone and I wouldn't have to feel like me anymore. But trust cosmetic surgery can only do so much, its a scalpel not a magic wand. Some people do get truly amazing results but I think that's because they are either starting from a pretty good base anyway or they get lucky.

I always wanna understand the though process that went through all of this. I remember as a teenager I hated my appearance so much. I wanted to be bigger, have bigger boobs, smaller forehead, defined chin, nicer hair, straight teeth you name it. I remember I had this almost compulsion to look at myself on different angles in the mirror just to cry about it before going out. Some of this insecurities lasted a couple of years while others lasted more than a decade. At some when I was alone I tried some different looks and thought to myself "hey, this is not that bad'' but I would never go out like that. After some time I changed places, friendships, work, lived on my own, deleted social media, found a partner and it just all got better after that. In 2022 I went out in a way that I would've dare to do 10 years before because I felt disgusting, there is something so fulfilling about looking at the worst part of yourself and just being at peace with it, dare I say even love it now, its crazy. I wonder if you disliked it so much or if at some point you thought it was fine, or that you would like it after? How was your mind treating you while you were insecure (what were you saying to yourself)? The fact that you are still not happy makes me worried. Anyways, I hope you are good, take care.
@PurposelyObtuse

I said this! I used to look in the mirror like a Bruce Springsteen song, “I wanted to change my hair, my clothes and my face!” It’s so deep. I wanted higher cheekbones, smaller lips, and dental work. The dental work. No regrets there. But I needed dental work due to an accident that chipped my front tooth. Causing other teeth to come in a little crooked. Lol I didn’t do the other things, because the desire completely disappeared around 25. I just remembered looking in the mirror and being settled with my body. I remember thinking, if I change my face I’ll probably have to get used to that too. It took years for me to love myself. But being settled happened around 25 years old.

Loved how transparent you were! I also did a rhinoplasty 3 years ago and I thank the stars I did it. Like you, my nose is not 100% symmetrical, I have scarring tissue on my left side which makes it slightly thicker, but my God, it's still far better than what I had naturally. My new nose made my other facial features pop out to the point it looks like I had work done on them too when I haven't. Sometimes I even forget it was altered as it sits so naturally on my face. Ironically, prior my nose job I would always have a congested and runny nose, but I no longer have this problem. So my surgery, while done for completely superficial reasons, also fixed my breathing. If I went back in time, I would do it again.

I was watching another video that describes the depression that you experience after a major event/accomplishment, it went into detail about the brain chemistry behind it but basically all the adrenaline and excitement leading up to the surgery and you ride the high up until after. That post-surgery depression is normal but it’s made worse since you’re bed bound and generally sore/in pain during recovery. They were describing how you could exercise or do hobbies, etc. after to boost your mood but post-surgery activities like that aren’t possible. Add to that the trauma that many girls talk about when seeing their post-surgery body all bruised and bloody immediately after.

I feel the same way about my rhinoplasty! My nose isn’t perfect but it’s way better than it was prior. I don’t regret it. It was $10k in North Carolina. Next up I’m getting brow lift, mid face lift with fat transfer and lip lift. I can’t wait. To be honest; even if you don’t get a “perfect result” MOST of the time people do look a lot better after plastic surgery and that’s just the reality of it. I feel like when many people think of plastic surgery they automatically think of “botched” but the reality is that happens to very few people! Plastic surgery is a booming business and it always will be. When you decide to get a cosmetic procedure done you just have to know ahead of time that most people wont get it or understand and that’s OK. I don’t tell anyone what I’m doing and keep it private. 😊

Thank you so much for being honest. We need more content creators who have done plastic surgeries to talk about this honestly and transparently. The point where you talked about constantly wanting another plastic surgery and never feel happy or pleased; Id say we tend to choose easier options to solve harder issues, and by issues I mean mental issues. We live in a toxic society where there are tons of ways to belittle ourselves or lose self-love, one of which is seeing perfection on social media all the time. And when reaching the point where we feel less and we need to seek help, we choose to fix the outside, not the inside because it's easier and results are faster. Now here is my advice, if you feel less in any way please seek help that can relieve the self-love inside you again instead of risking your body health and like Sarah experienced, mental health as well. Wish you all good health, Happy new year ❤️

Insecurity is your issue, not surgery. Getting depressed and anxiety etc is what you should work on and surgery can't "fix" that. A different doctor for that.

Thank you for posting this. I moved to Miami 1.5 years ago and all of the girls look like you and I had no idea that they weren't naturally that way. Because no one speaks openly about these things I assumed their looks were entirely natural and I felt incredibly depressed and ashamed to go out in public until I finally got fed up and scheduled my own procedures. I wish I would have know this sooner.

As someone who had a septorhinoplasty, your nose is never the same, the first month was actual hell, I looked like I had been punched with a baseball bat, and the pain was unbearable, I was not eating, talking, couldn't not walk or move, then for the first year I could feel my actual bones shifting and cracking when I would change sides I slept on, I could barely touch it, let alone put makeup on it for like 2 years, and having a facial is still a dream (5 years later), forget jumping into the water, forget kissing without a care, forget sleeping next to someone soundly, forget wearing glasses and sunglasses for long periods of time, if someone or something accidentaly hits you in the face, expect the worst pain of your life (one time when I suffered a heat stroke and passed out, before I fell I instictively turned my face away while falling to the floor uncounscious - that's how you know the pain is insane). I am not even mentioning the body dismorphia it can give, you don't feel like yourself. However, my surgery was still worth it since I could not breathe before at all and my quality of life was awful. So if its purely for aesthetic reasons - dont get it, I have friends who, like Sarah, cannot breathe normally anymore, have had complications and chronic pain. A rhinoplasty is a VERY serious surgery and beware!

THANK YOU for being honest about this. It’s so refreshing to see people being honest about their surgeries and experiences. Also side note for people considering a BBL, keep in mind it is the DEADLIEST plastic surgery. It became so popular many people didn’t even consider this, but it’s still a surgery. Stay safe out there everyone and make sure to really research a doctor before. even the best doctors have surgeries with complications. But i work in the medical field and the plastic surgery I’ve seen out of other countries is wild… like medicine 101 of what NOT to do. It may cost more but is way more worth it to pay more to see a doctor in the US. I’ve seen so many people go to Mexico for surgery to save money then have to pay so much more than they would have to fix serious complications.

This is my first time coming across your channel. I think you telling about all your surgeries is brave and so needed! People should never be ashamed of doing something to make themselves feel better. But it's also important to know the risks and weigh your options. It's not an easy thing being transparent online so I give you props for that! Congrats on 50k subs!🥳 Winning the iPhone would be awesome I've been wanting to start a channel so bad but definitely need the push to do it! ❤️ Thanks girl!

I would love the $300, I’m unemployed and with a baby boy I would love to get baby and myself something nice, since my husband is the only one employed it’s been hard especially during these times where everything is so expensive 🙁

Hi, 1st time here. Watched till then end. Loved your honesty. I myself have done a lot of maintenance lol! Couple things, I wish you showed a Before photo and also stood up to show your present day BBL results. How much with hotel and airfare did your nose job end up costing in total with surgery? Everything you said about nose job is true! I have had mine done too 😉 You’re gorgeous and come across very real. Glad to hear you’re putting P.S on pause. Don’t know how old you are but save your money for after you’re 40, when you want to do touch ups. Yes, i’m a mom, can you tell 😂 Thanks to share!

i resonated with your nose story so much because it’s something i am extremely insecure about and have been for as long as i can remember. i was saving up money to get a nose job but i ended up getting pregnant and had to use that money to buy stuff for my baby boy (which i don’t regret at all) but now i am a stay at home mom and i want to start posting on my tiktok and see if anything comes out of that for me; however, eveytime i record a video and look at myself all i see is how much i hate my nose and how big it is! I love that you mentioned how getting your nose done was almost life changing for you because that is what i hope i feel whenever i am able to get my nose done. i would find either of your prizes so helpful; the phone would really help to get better videos for my tiktoks, but the money would also help to put towards the money i’m saving up for my nose job. you are so honest, so real. love your videos! your amazing Sarah 💓

I was diagnosed with rosacea within the last couple of years and I went through a period where I was struggling with my flare ups, especially around my chin. I need to take antibiotics for a month just for my flare ups to go away and that causes other uncomfortable side effects I started using a CBD infused elixir that really helped. I’ve been using it over the last 8 months and haven’t had a flare up at all. It’s worth discussing with your dermatologist to see which product will work for your skin type. Hope this helps!

I feel like the post op depression and anxiety she’s talking about is real and it might be for everyone even people without prior mental health issues. I mean just think about it, you’ve done something super invasive to your own body and it being your own choice must unconsciously feel like you’ve failed yourself and have chosen to hurt yourself just for looks. It is hard to accept yourself sometimes, specially for us women when we know nothing better but celebrities and social media who appear to look “perfect”. I really used to hate my nose and thought I’d get a rhinoplasty but as I got older I’ve realized there’s much more important things than the way my nose looks, and I should be grateful for being healthy and having a perfectly fine nose that allows me to breathe, and so what if my nose isn’t perfect? I feel like it’s so incredible how we all are born with such unique features and at the end that’s what makes you different from the rest. As long as you accept yourself you don’t need nobody else’s acceptance. It is important to practice self love and learn how to talk nicely to ourselves, it’s helped me a lot. ❤️❤️❤️ YOU GIRLS ARE BEAUTIFUL NEVER FORGET THAT!❤️❤️❤️

So being a nurse I would not recommend using a hormonal therapy to get rid of acne, you have to remember whenever you put something in your body it can come with it own set of risks. I would say to keep track of what makes your acne worse, diet, lack of sleep, products your using that could be clogging your pores, a new product that maybe causing an issue, it literally could be anything. I know everybody wants a quick fix, but it’s not worth it if it can cause other problems down the road.

Birth control introduces exogenic hormones into your body long term that changes your hormones long term. It tricks your body into thinking it’s pregnant. Do you know what that means for a woman? A surgery you will recover from. It’s a shock sure but usually good after a while. Birth control messes with your entire system
