Stay safe fellow adventurer! I live 100% off grid in FL and our cold nights in gulf area can be very disrespectful when you wake up with a cold because of the varying temperature from night and day. Keep your immune system up and do not let the sun fool you - you can get sick east here. Love your adventure.
I am a more of a traveler than a "nomad", been on the road going on my 11th year. Been to 28 states and slept in Walmart parking lots in every one of them and I have never had any problems and only one knock. I have left my chairs, folding table, cooler and other things loose in the bed of my truck and have never had anything taken. There have been a few that I choose not to stay the night, as I always listen to my inner voice! If it does not feel right, no matter where pay attention and trust your instincts!

Yes two both sounds, but the bang sounded more like a dumpster being slammed closed rather than a bang. The whisper sounded more like an intake breath to me. Stay safe.

I think you’re right. You’d think with all the money they’re saving from not being open 24/7, they’d actually open some registers during the day. I wish they were still open all night though, that’s when I use to do my grocery shoot was after midnight

Tofurkey? I am a vegetarian too, not vegan though. I prefer Cracker Barrel overnight stays over Walmarts if I can find one. Some Walmarts seem a bit sketchy, but you made it through!!! 😊
I think you were taking dangerous chances leaving your windows uncovered. It would be safer not only if your windows were covered, but if you had stopped off somewhere and covered them before you got to Walmart.
I saw a video where someone put their cellphone Camera up against a tinted window with no light on at night. The camera adjusted itself and you could see everything inside the vehicle. You might try that and see if it's true. 😊❣️

I have van camped years back. Now i have a motorhome. I want to park my motorhome on a lot and get a van. I have a ford expedition. And just cant camp in it. I would love to make a meetup at some point. I have an autistic daughter and i am just worried about breaking down with her. To help with condensation on inside of windows rainx makes a anti fog you put on inside of windows could help with that also rainx on the outside would help with visibility in rainy condition also makes it easier to remove bugs in summertime you may have allready known this tho ok I will stop
Hello - I definitely heard a whisper at 3 am but could only tell it was a female whisper. You should consider renaming your video like “Paranormal Vanlife Parking?” That will might get you more hits on this video and maybe someone can figure out what the whisper said. Spooky for sure!
This just popped up in my recommended I find this interesting so I’m going to subscribe and watch your journey that you share I do have a question on equipment or tools tho I was wandering what tool or equipment or item that you find yourself using the most I’m sure there are some things your glad you have but there may be something that you’d like to have or missed I realize that things become a balancing act as there is only so much room. hope I’m not coming across as to nosy just wandering like what or if you use anything for electrical power generator inverter or have water filter or buy water as water is not the same from place to place of you use a propane tank or buy bottles actually I have a lot of questions and could go on and on so I will stop myself
@@LifeWithMicheleSilver I have a cooktop similar to the one you have, but it’s not a Colman one thing I have found is the fuel canisters are not interchangeable with the different brands of them one hook system I use most of the time is my jet boil, but there is a downside like when Covid you couldn’t find any type of propane or butane anywhere they were struggling to keep propane and forklifts for the warehouses so I also have the bio light cook system that will burn anything as Fuel another system I have it doesn’t take any fuel is my go sun cooker not good for cloudy days though but doesn’t cost anything to run
One thing I use just for emergencies to stay warm is my little buddy heater it uses those little green propane canisters but they only last 2 to 3 hours but they have an adapter that you can put on a 5 gallon propane tank so that should last a while I’ve only had to use it once to stay warm and was glad I had it with me

Do 24 hr Walmarts still exist? Also you’re lucky they still allow overnight parking. Walmarts in Vegas and near my parents house in Cali don’t allow it anymore.🫠
