Hey guys!!
This summer, I had the incredible opportunity of attending the Yale Young Global Scholars Program! I made unforgettable memories and everlasting friendships, and as a member of the Communications Team, my job was to create a vlog! This video will be uploaded to the Yale Young Global Scholars RU-vid channel later this school year, but in the meantime, I am uploading it on my personal channel so that I can share my experience with you all!

Don’t over stressed about it! Take your time and do it calmly. Read and re-read your essays, take care with your answers in the little boxes, they probably are as much as important as the essays. Make someone else give their opinion about your essays and make sure that you answer all the questions. Be yourself, be honest and authentic, I think they care a lot about how you are as human being. And don’t quit, I was rejected for YYGS 2019 and now I got in!

Hey one sec. I am in 8th grade right now. So I will be eligible to enter this program after 2 years. I cannot wait 2 years for this. And I think this could be little costly also as I am an international students, but I think they must provide scholarship. I really want to visit this. As I have tried watching every single vlog on YYGS. I hope to get in.

I am planning to apply to there so I was wondering what is the capstone project?

Carlos The capstone project is basically a research project that you do with a group of students about a topic that you choose. So, I was put in the Immigration Reform capstone group with about twenty-five other students, and then we were broken up into smaller groups. Within these smaller groups, we researched about specific topics within the big umbrella of Immigration Reform. We worked on it throughout the course of the program, and the end result was a PowerPoint presentation.
