The waiter who speaks Chinese, his name is Abdullah, he was the servant of the place that I lived in, he is a talented young boy back then, we teach him cook Chinese food as well.
Don’t forget his Vietnamese is perfect. I just don’t have the gift of language. Im trying to learn but it’s so hard. I came to USA at 7 so lost most of my Vietnamese
I'm glad you leave in the raw bits that get awkward. It isn't all going to be warm faces and welcoming conversations. I respect the balls to get out there and really experience these places with a smile and an open mind.
Huge respect to the waiter. To know minimum of 3 langs (Urdu, English and Mandarin) is an amazing accomplishment . If he reads this, he should get into tourism as a guide
A person that speaks more than english will automatically see the world differently. A whole new world opens up to them. Its only those people who only speaks english tend to misunderstand others and are hostile towards others.
@@mustafatariq3252 only way to be a nice and intelligent person is to learn a new language. We really understand others and be less worried about others all the time. The world is beautiful if we can live in peace. Most anglo race are incapable of learning more than english. That is why they generally feel insecure which leads them to be hostile towards others. You see America creating wars every where due to their insecurity
Being a Pakistani i want to thank you for representing the true and good side of Pakistan but more than that😁 Being a human i want to thank you for such a kind ,generous and pure human .you are a gift to this world.keep spreading kindness, smiles and happiness 😍
It is amazing that Chris knows the difference between 兰州拉面 and Lanzhou Beef noodle. According to my experience Lanzhou beef noodle tasts much better than Lanzhou Pull noodle. The owners of Lanzhou pull noodle restaurants are all from Ningxia, a neighboring province of Lanzhou. They use Lanzhou as their title because Lanzhou is more famous than their hometown. Now, Lanzhou pull noodle restaurants can be seen everywhere in China, just like KFC or Mcdonald, except for Lanzhou. Local Lanzhou people believe those guys from Ningxia stole the name of their city and make fake Lanzhou noodle. The official and authentic name for Lanzhou noodle should be Lanzhou Beef Noodle 兰州牛肉面 instead of Lanzhou Pull Noodle 兰州拉面。
The meaning of 'Allah Hafiz' in urdu is 'May God keep you in his protection'. In Islam welcoming words and goodbye's are the best prayers you can give to one another. In Arabic they say the same ' they say ' Fi amaan ullah'.
Wow A pleasant surprise to see an American from Colorado speaking good Urdu and Chinese as well :) Showed your video to my kid who complain about learning Urdu in USA! Your excitement is visible through Vlogs 👍🏼
man seriously wow u r amazing with all languages...its incredible u dont how heartwelming it is when someone speaks our language its kinda respect for the people u r interacting with..thanks for that bro...hope ur tour goes awsome...❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Guys, you are amazing people. With the idiomatic ease of establishing a good bond with the locals, there will be doors to enjoy the traditions and points of interest of the country.🎄🎄
I have no idea who you are, watching your vlog for the first time and also subscribed. Your vlogs are better than all foreigners who visited Pakistan since you can communicate in Urdu and the local people are better able to express themselves. Also I love it that you are enjoying everything in your vlogs.
@@aamirgujjar5191 That's great. Right, in Quebec, French is spoken and in other areas, like Ontario, they speak English. I have been there, beautiful places in Canada.
@@yaserhussain6063 Aww, and you! May I ask what’s the difference between Punjabi and Sairaqi? I’ve heard some say it’s a mix of Punjabi with Persian, is that true?
Hey man, I truly envy you. Being able to speak those languages! Congrats! And traveling around those places. Where I live (south of Hungary), say a 100 years back, people spoke all the languages of their neighbors (Rumanian, Serbian, Swabish, Hungarian, other Slavic languages and even Yiddish. Unfortunately, people gave up on that - due to some nasty twists and turns of local history. I enjoy your videos. Best I have seen so far. Keep up the good work. Thank you.
Enjoyable post as always! This reminds me growing up and taking family vacations all over the world and everywhere we went my parents would always go to Chinese restaurants in those countries. Always seemed a waste and the antithesis of why one visits and samples the local cuisine. NOW I know why and it wasn't for the food, but, more to meet Chinese people and see how they live as foreigners in a foreign land as my parents were as immigrants. Being first generation kids we never saw things from that perspective, but, do now. Keep safe and healthy! Merry Christmas to you and Max!
You guys are absolute legends! Not only traveling and learning and enjoying, but also immersing yourselves in the culture. And, y'all speak so many languages and do it so well! Vietnamese, Mandarin, Japanese, Urdu, English (and probably more), it's truly amazing. Mad props, love your videos!
Hey Chris, you are simply amazing & blessed with lot of skills, it doesn't seem that you are a student of physics, you have great communication skills. Stay blessed Man
I actually ended up speaking a little about 兰州拉面 in my latest video. Fairly sure it's due to this interaction 😂 m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-b_K6Cn0rbX4.html
You even recognised a Pathan without them saying so! now, that's what you call a Pro! I live in the UK and some of my English Friends can't understand how I recognize people's backgrounds! what can I say? I'm just someone who likes to analyze!
Bro thank you for covering Pakistan I am watching your videos from Rawalpindi love from pakistan 🇵🇰🇵🇰and you are nailing urdu bro so good at every language

U must visit these places in islamabad.. margalla hilld, monal, daman-e-koh, pakistan monument, carting in lake view park, f9 park, saidpur village, kohsar market f6... Atleast these places.. it will take 1 or 2 days max to cover these places.. and ofcourse faisal mosque
Another great video 👍 That Chinese chef could’ve been more polite, I understand it must be noisy and hard to hear but that’s no way to excuse yourself, specially when an American customer is making his best effort to speak their language. But Welcome to Pakistan. 🇵🇰 You will not find better hospitality anywhere around the globe.
Not everyone goes all "ooh" and "aah" if you speak their language. Some people (like myself) just don't give a single fuck. It's just a language for crying out loud, not the cure for cancer or something. Any language can be learned by anyone if they would want to.
@@V_channel_ You don’t need to go “ooh” and “aah” to communicate with someone, You can be polite to a customer who is trying to communicate with you, specially when you’re in hospitality business, People who don’t give a fuck shouldn’t get into a business where they have to deal with public. You sound like a real winner 👍
@@vrod1a He's the goddamn cook and should not be bothered at all by customers that want to show off their language skills. That's what the waiter is for.

The black sauce is basically soy sauce. And Chinese restaurants here in Pakistan add a touch of Pakistan because otherwise most of the local people won't like it and find it bland. You must have noticed that mostly our food have a strong flavor.
Im born and raised in hong kong. Just two years ago i went to Pakistan and during a visit to a doctor, i met a young lady who told my grandpa that she was from china. I was shocked. Many of us new gens are very diversed and im glad.
$13 US for two bowls of noodles in Pakistan? Damn, that's expensive. People in Pakistan must be living large. How much would 2 bowls of noodles in Vietnam cost in U$?
i’ve eaten here before and the serving size is really good for the price. they got two full bowls and dumplings so that makes it about 13$ which is fair.
Hello Chris. I am from Pakistan and can see you are very down to earth and try to be very polite when speaking with Chinese people at the restaurant. Enjoy ☺️ your stay.
After watching vlogs of Americans and how they are being welcomed and treated by Pakistanis I feel how good we are. Sometimes we don't realize how good we are so these vlogs are like mirror to us to see our real greatness...😁😁😁 Happy to know that we are such a lovely nation.
