And Les Choristes is indeed an absolutely phenomenal movie. Loved it, even though I have only seen it in German, my French is insuffucient. But our Ryan here is actually beginning to motivate me to do something about it.
The french movie the chinese girl is speaking about is "Les Choristes" ("The Chorus" in english, a french movie from 2004). I am really surprised she knows about this movie, it was not a bad movie but it's not the most famous french movie of the last 20 years. Anyway, nice video Ryan, always a pleasure to see you speaking so many laguages and see the reaction on their faces ! :D
The Russian guy was an awesome dude. The actions of Putin I severely dislike but videos like these are always so refreshing to see, most people in the world are lovely!
I have no idea how you got fluent, I've been studying Chinese, Indonesian and Japanese for a while now and I can only understand about half of each. Kudos to you man!
Another great video, Ryan. I'm 40y old now, I learned some japanese YEARS ago, then life got complicated and I stopped. After like 10+y later I find I retained lots of it, but nowadays it's hard to pick that energy up and go back to learning languages. BTW, I'm born in 1984 in Portugal, so even English is not my main language. Anyways I've really enjoyed your videos over the past few years because I truly feel there's something special in expressing stuff in a particular language. Like, we had French in school and that's one particular dimension, then I heard Opera Music and now, Italian, even though since it's Latin-based, it's not too different from my native Portuguese or French, it's actually minutely and distinctly different in the details... All this to say, languages are just so cool and you are a big ambassador on showing this! It's particularly special to me, I have to say, when so many "americans" (USA citizens, there's more to the Americas than just the USA, c'mon) just can't even fathom the notion of humans not speaking English - which is "gross" (in a term they'd understand) considering the millennia of human history.
You've inspired me, my guy! I speak Spanish, but took my first Brazilian Portuguese lesson yesterday! Scheduled again for Thursday. Hopefully I can get a third language in!
This is a great video, thank you! 😎👍 I haven't heard of the movie "The chorus". Before watching this video I didn't even expect that there's a film "Хористы". Probably it's worth to watch it. But I am not sure. I prefer watching anime. Anyway, thank you again for this video. I really like it! 👏
Great video as always you do. You give us so much inspiration, thank you. the French movie the girl was talking about is The Chorus (2004) Les Choristes in French.
Another great bunch of chats, Ryan...I hoped there was a new video coming...i saw the first chinese lady on TikTok...and hadn`t seen her before...so you are travelling again ? Happy travels Ryan ... hope we get to see some interactions soon on here
Always excellent language videos, Ryan! Beautiful example of communicating with ppl. I will try to learn few other languages myself. My ancestry is Ukraine, Poland, Hungarian, Norway & Israel. But also love Asian pp. Maybe can learn Asian language also. Will look at Chinese, Korean, Tagalog, etc. Keep up the good work. Just curious: Have you talked with Cindy from Medan again? Anyway, keep posting your videos! Love them!
Apparently the 🐐looks like a normal guy according to some random girl. Unknowing to her, she is in the face of greatness. Her mind will be blown and she’ll regret that remark.
When I see your videos I always find myself smiling. Your interactios and your personality are wholesome and insipirational. P.S. the russian guy is hilarious, I laughed so hard
The American education system sucks when it comes to teaching languages. We need to get the education departments to see your videos and others like it to show how languages can bring people together. I enjoy your vids, they always put a smile on my face.
It's basically the same in every country, stop blaming your school system (whereas it is your fault) and learn by yourself. I know what i'm talking about, I live in France, I had to learn english by myself and I'm currently learning German...
Padang? You must try Sate Padang (Padang Satay) if you do end up going there next time you visit Indonesia! Absolutely delicious! The food is definitely one of the best parts of Indonesia.
Maaan I wish you could post every weekend I miss your videos really I am a huge fan from Morocco and I can speak three languages and I am learning my fourth one at the moment keep going man 😊
As a Englishman i must comment on Aqua like Ryan i thought she was American she speaks amazing English with a smooth American accent its so clear i wish all English speakers could speak as good as she can she is also very beautiful.
Try learning a language, but you need a good reason, so you have motivation. I was monolingual a while ago until I learned french & spanish & currently ASL
English, China, Indonesia, Korea, France and Russia. . Amazing and so cool.. I am looking forward to the video of Ryan speaking Tagalog on Ome Tv Philippines server later after Ryan is fluent in Filipino.
Asians are the best on OmeTV. I make similar videos but with brazilians and other latinos and it takes me two entire days to find a few decent people there😂
@12:25 I always heard English basics are easy, Grammar is the problem. Being an English speaker all my life I have no idea I couldn't learn Russian or Chinese now, maybe a Latin based one lol
If you wanna come to Russia or just have some practice I’m pretty convinced you will find a lot of Russians who speak English well and are ready to help or just chat. (including myself) Btw it’s kinda funny how Russians write English sentences, cause we usually create one hella long monstrosity of a sentence instead of many short ones. It’s just a habit from Russian and it’s harder to fight than an accent…
Now that Omegle is shut down you should partner with another similar company to promote their service. Hopefully a company that wouldn’t allow the creepy guys.
Hi, Ryan! You are in the Philippines! I heard that a Canadian RU-vidr who speaks tagalog is going to go to the Philippines this month too. Is this a coincidence?😏
