once you have a clear understanding or ability to properly draw, doing animations for a short period of time is cake walk, so yeah here's the advice, learn how to draw
As someone who's been learning how to animate for 1 year, your work shows the true value of studying the fundamentals. These look amazing. For me, I haven't really been looking up anything- just drawing from imagination. So things like making something flap in the wind was learnt through trial and error, which takes time. I never even saw that chart and had to pause and stare at it. Dude, your progress is really inspiring and it's definitely made me reconsider doing some studies. Keep going!
♦️♦️♦️ The thing about animation is. If you know how to turn all your drawings and also have some anatomy knowledge. You will be able to do animation properly. That is why I'm focusing on my bone an muscle anatomy before going back at it again. This is why the one who posted this got used to it very fast because he has some solid and decent control over his drawing and artstyle. (Since some people don't get what I said, I did not mean you need to be good at detailing. Please slow down when reading so you can understand it properly)
I do want to stress that being able to visualize, turn, and draw forms in 3D is much much much more important than learning anatomy, however. Being able to rotate and draw say a cube in your head is much more versatile and useful in the long run than knowing every single muscle and bone in the human body.
@@LinkOh Yeahs, I am definitely struggling with this one. I've been studying anatomy for 3 years now. Yet I forgot to study how I'll turn it around, so now I can draw good front anatomy drawings but when it comes to turning it sideways or even with other perspectives, it looks weird, but I'll get there soon. So advice for the other people. DO THE BASICS first please, it definitely isn't as cool as a detailed anatomy which would kind of discourage you BUT. It will definitely greatly help and aid you in the future hahah.
Well no not really. As an animator myself. Animation and drawing do tend to overlap but making something look good in the long run is a very different process to making it move good
This is either the craziest dedication ever given by an individual to a specific skill or the greatest amount of talent someone has naturally been born with cause 5 MONTHS?!
"i will be good soon" . youre alrdy good NOW 😭 . the only thing to animation is the spacing between frames, timing and the actual key frames themselves . thats all it is really . your art fundamentals are great, i think youd be an amazing animator if you stick to it!! :) good luck and i cant wait to see more
SAYONARA ZETSUBOU SENSEI MENTIONED!?!??!?!??!!! these animations are already so absolutely amazing and i honestly cant imagine how they could look in the future!! i cant wait to see more of your works!! but just make sure to stay away from mappa; they might be coming for you 👍stay safe
Im super proud of your work! I can tell that you already have a fantastic drawing background, and because of that, you’ve showcased mad improvement in such a short amount of time. Very inspiring to beginners and experts alike!
This is really cool, seeing all the stuff like first test animations and short test. This makes me wanna start animating myself. But first, i gotta get better at drawing at all.
You animate better than most people for someone that has been doing it only in a few months… You have true talent, perseverance is a talent too. Keep on going, i'll gladly expect to see your name in animation credits soon!!!❤
Wow this is amazing! For only five months this is really impressive, you should be proud of yourself. Keep it up, I believe you will achieve wonderful things ^o^
MEL! EXCELLENT WORK THIS was recommended to me by RU-vid! SO cool to see people from life drawing getting recognition for their hard work! oh and thanks for teaching that perspective class I draw boxes in my mind now because of YOU
I’ve been animating for 5 years and couldn’t dream of making something like this, also I like the chainsaw man reference for the animated clothing tests. Great job 👌
REALLY GOOD! and in 5 monthes! when i look at this i feel that you'r really try to improve to be better and better!! as an anime artist, when i try animation i just skip poses that are hard to do, just like eskape instead of improve 😂
Holy shit that progression time is insane! Can't wait to see what you do later on Honestly very inspirational! But then I remember that I'm rarely able to commit to consistent practicing💀
Amazing stuff! Also... \[T]/ Praise the sun!☀️ wasn't expecting to see a dark souls reference today. God this makes me happy. Wearing a dark souls t-shirt I hand embroidered right now even. Jolly animate my friend
RIP Subaru I'm also getting into animation so this is encouraging to see. It's crazy how fast people can improve when they spend the time to understand what they are drawing and are able to apply fundamental principles.
This is widely different compared to how I learned. I watched a few videos and decided to make a storytime video, and hoo boy, it’s taken a while. Congrats, man, you’re really comin’ along!
always keep going cause one day youll look back and think how far you've come in just five months this is tremendous progress ! keep it up and never let yourself think you cant do it !
