Between the Fontainebleau and the Wynn, which one would you say is more upscale and why? Forbes hasn't yet rated the Fontainebleau as it's too new, but I do know that the Miami one, which is almost identical except for the casino, does have a 5 Forbes diamond rating
Unless I missed it, is this a smoking or nonsmoking property? I don’t play poker but I wonder why no poker room. Thank you for the view. It is beautiful!
I was there too - and had the thrill of meeting both you and Mr. Ruby! (I am Gene Wilder's biographer, was there with my friend, and we chatted outside on Sunday night.) You were just as charming, nice, and down to earth as you are in your videos. And for your viewers who are not as lucky as I was too meet you guys, you and Mr. Ruby make a lovely couple! 👍
It looks like The Fontainebleau has raised the bar for the rest of the big properties to catch up. What a beautiful place. I'm going to have to stay there next year. Thanks Ruby. Great review as always.
I remember seeing this building when I first visited Vegas in 2015. I've been maybe 6 times since and I can't believe its finally open! Love the videos as always!
ya I remember when I first visited Vegas as an adult back in 07 and walking past thee construction site on the way from our hotel at thee Stratosphere and seeing a banner stating it would open in 09.
You were in celebration mode, and rightly so. What a gorgeous room, and property overall. It's not every day you stay in a brand new Strip property - where you booked first. Wow! You deserve this fabulous experience, Ruby!
Just came here to say (and you likely already know this) that you put out THE BEST Vegas content all around. I truly applaud and appreciate these videos. I trust your honesty and how thorough you are. Just amazing
Absolutely loved your thorough review of this property. This is on my top 3 list of properties to stay at on our next visit to Las Vegas. My husband and I will be celebrating our 25th anniversary next year and we can’t wait to see the new additions since our last visit.
Thank you so much for your consistent, quality reviews, and honest opinions. You and Mr. Ruby make it easy to see and compare the myriad of options in LV. Keep those adjectives and adverbs coming!
been waiting on this one for a minute. I have no idea but I absolutely love this channel - I've only been to Vegas a few times and watching Ruby's videos makes me feel like I know it just like a local!
I loved that the restaurant compted the couple's dinner. Forty-five years of marriage is no joke. I might go and try one of the restaurants but the hotel rooms are out of my budget for now although they were nice. The hotel itself seems nice but kind of cold. I think I still prefer the look of the Wynn.
All I have to say is "WOW"! I was beginning to wonder if this hotel would ever be finished. After seeing your review, I can't wait to stay there at the Fontainebleau!
Bring a big budget, it's a luxury resort on par with Wynn/Encore, Bellagio, Caesar's Palace so restaurants/bars are very expensive geared towards customers that don't need to ask how much something is. It's also new so it will take a few months to work out the kinks to get things just right which is common with mega resorts.
Google Fontainebleau nachos and what this place charges to watch a game in their sports book. This place already has a terrible reputation. It's become a joke on the strip with the locals.
@@charylene211 I don’t think it was vandalism. A woman ran into the display and the casino had to put a barrier up to prevent people from running into it and hurting themselves. Or damaging their property.
Great review Ruby. The table minimums seem normal for a high end property but the 6 to 5 on blackjack at $25 is a definite no for me. I hope the Fountainebleau makes it but the location my present a problem. Overall another great review, keep up the great reviews Ruby. Thanks!
I got back from there today after staying there for a couple of nights. They do have $25 3:2 (Surrender allowed, hit on soft17, 6 deck) Blackjack during morning-lunch-ish and a bit later in the evening during the weekdays.
Thank you. The best RU-vid Video I have seen on this property. I am a Cosmopolitan person, but I am looking for a new home when Identity goes away sometime next year.
Hotel looks beautiful. I have been coming to Vegas since 2008 and that building has always been an eye sore. I am so glad it is finally finished and I can’t wait to check it out on my next trip. I also don’t consider myself a spa person but looking at it I might have to change my mindset 😂
Elegant!! Love your sweater Ruby. Going to have to talk my husband into staying at Fontainebleau. The only Casino we have stayed at is NYNY. We like the smaller homier feeling!
Glad to see Ruby's review of the rooms and her suite to give us a better feel of the property, being we only walked around the casino area. One thing we noticed is even tho the casino floor space is massive, they do a really good job of spreading out the gaming tables and slots. Some hotel/casinos really cram their stuff, not the Fontainebleu.
i am so glad you got to tour this new place. It looks divine! The spa is a selling point if you are into that which i am. I would LOVE to make a visit here and go to the spa. Thank you Ruby for this video!
You just did such an amazing job transporting me to this experience! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Great camera work, great editing and pacing .... great job!
So great to finally see come alive! Stayed at the Riviera so many times and thought we would never see. This day. Love the tour cannot wait to see it in person in January. I wish they would tier match again. 😢
A foyer?! You can fit my apartment twice over in that room 😂. Fontainebleau looks incredible! The B roll is so great! Idk if it’s affordable ($32 for 1 crab cake?!) but $200 for a standard room isn’t too bad. Definitely have to dine there and experience LIV on Sunday in LV.
The entire dinner and drinks cost 2x the room rate. No resort fee was nice. But the 7%? state tax and 16-20% hotel tax is a killer if you stay an entire week.
Great review as usual and both room types look really, really nice! Much more elegant that Resorts World Hilton/Conrad rooms for sure. Entire property much more upscale.
I’m so happy every time there is the silly elevator moment in each of these reviews. Vegas movies always seem to have funny or strange elevator encounters and Ruby’s resort reviews reminds me of them.
I was a little surprised that the master bathroom shower only seemed to have a single normal wall mount and not a ceiling rain head shower. The shower was definitely big enough.
I’ve seen some other videos on this amazing new hotel but so far yours is the best one! 👏 It’s more in depth. You actually ate at the restaurant. Etc. The Spa was amazing. Your suite! Thanks so much for this. Now I definitely have to go and see this. My now favorite hotel in Vegas! 👍😎
Would love to see a normal room next ( haven’t finished the vlog so maybe you show one) I always find that the suites I see in Vegas are totally unimaginable to me. I could only ever get one if I didn’t plan on spending much time outdoors because they’re so nice - I’d never leave. Lol
Travel Ruby , u always put out the most amazing videos and this is the best one out there on Fontainebleau . You are the most popular Vegas utuber ! Best Vegas Videos, what a Pro 👍👍👍 Much ❤❤❤
Fantastic video!! Congratulations to your channel on a great year Ruby!! You and Mr.Ruby always deliver classy and informative segments. Props to the video and audio editing! ⚡️⚡️
Hi Ruby, great review! From the casino to the restaurants and the room! Beautiful property. I'll be slummin'' it for New years at the Mirage. But looking forward to seeing everything again. Plans for NYE?
I love when they have a nice big tub right by a window so you can relax and enjoy the view. the room does remind me as a more modern version of thee wraparound suite at the Cosmo without the balcony. and in my opinion more Vegas resorts need balconies. I give this resort a pass as the tower was mostly completed before the Cosmo was even announced so that's ok. but over all it looks like a very nice resort and I look forward to checking it out on one of my future trips.
I don't think you realize how many people commit suicide in vegas by jumping off things because the city does an amazing job of covering it up. There's currently about 1-2 suicides a week at the casinos, but if more casinos had balconies they'd have a really difficult time covering up of the dead people and stopping photos from getting out. Not to mention the drunks falling over the balconies.
Since I live in Turnberry (high rise behind Fontainebleau) have gone now a couple of times and the property is absolutely beautiful. We have only tried the restaurants at the food court and had drinks at the Bleau Bar. I'm hearing great things about Don's, but I am not hearing great things about Papi Steak. Our friends said the music is way too loud and it took forever to get their food. They left after and hour and 45 minutes as their food had still not come yet. Granted...that was first week...so I will still give them a chance myself. Probably going tonight to the Nowhere bar
I looked up the rates for a Tuesday in February, when we want to come for a sphere show. It’s still pretty pricey at $296 for the standard room. That panorama suite is around $1500 😳. Very nice property though, and I wonder what it will be like in the height of summer season, especially with that beach club.
Checked the casino out on opening night and it was super nice, but I do agree with your comment about it feeling austere; I felt really out of place lol. Keen to stay there though and properly check out more of the property, and goodness me do I wanna live in that spa 😍
i remember walking around the area back in may 2012 (can't remember if i saw construction happening), knowing about turmoil surrounding it and when or if it would even open and i have to say, it looks like it was almost worth the wait...12 years later
❤ what a great preview of this hotel thank you for putting it together and you are a wonderful host to watch to understand where's the best places to go and what to do you're better than a travel agent love you keep your doing me a great job
Omg 😱 I was so intrigued by your review Ruby that I was literally drooling at the food and drink scene!! The rooms looked fantastic!! I’m sold can’t wait to book in the future!! Happy holidays!! ❄️❄️🫶🏽
That statue in the entrance area of the suite has some serous wow factor. I mainly use a room to sleep and shower, this space is for entertaining as well.
It’s great to hear the Fontainebleau FINALLY got constructed. It was an amazing prospect, but the Las Vegas economy tanked bad prolly like 2008 when I lived there. Unemployment in Las Vegas was the highest in the nation. I was soo excited because it was beautiful. It became an eyesore for a little bit.
For 20 years in the making this was very disappointing. I’m also sad that Vegas is losing its charm. Everything is looking too modern. The themes are slowly dying and the glam is next. Hopefully downtown keeps the magic alive.
Stayed there in a regular room. Everything is beautiful, but had issues with cleanliness in our room. We did call and have them make it right. It was also so new so not a bunch going on. But we would give it another chance and try the Lapis. You will love the pool!
What a lovely room! This review helps a lot because we were planning on staying there but heard bad things. Looks amazing to me, my other option would have been resorts world! Looking forward to staying there soon!
