I stayed here about 25 years ago with my grandparents. It was absolutely beautiful with a mini grand piano and snooker room. I remember my jaw nearly hitting the floor when i walked in. So sad to see it looking so tired, the décor and furniture hasn't changes since all them years ago. Waste of an amazing building.

Beautiful old building and the Churchill room was very grand. I like Scarborough. Been there a few times.

There is absolutely no way that hotel deserves the accolade it’s been given , ok it’s a bit rough around the edges , but in my opinion it’s fifty percent better than most hotels I’ve seem on you tube .

Weve been to the grand about four times in Scarborough and for the money we paid on a coach tour from Coventry,West Midllands weve been very happy and Scarborough is such a underated resort to.

There is no way you can complain about that place for what you have paid alright a few things weren't perfect and could do with attention but the building no doubt has a preservation order on it and old buildings like that cost a fortune to run and maintain. Folks need to remember Britannia Hotels are aiming at the bottom end of the market and after all it's Scarborough not San Tropez where you would no doubt be paying around £1500 a night or more. Good Video keep em coming.

The one in London Canary Wharf it’s horrid!! Staff are rude the basic room is gross!! Air con fan noisy and staff wouldn’t do anything food was dreadful!!
