@@chfr9573 Did you ever try buying coins vs mining vs swing trading? I did. And in all scenarios, mining loses simply of the fact that even though a coin you spec mine can go 1000%, you are only limited with how many coins you can mine per day/week/month and that decreases over time with hashrate difficulties.
@@chfr9573 Such as? Whatever coins you mine or spec mine, you are limited by how much of that coin you get per day/week/month and the hashrate difficulty rises with time, so even if the coin you spec mine 1000%, you were only able to mine x amount in comparison to direct investment.

Good Video. I topped out at 47 GPU's (mostly 3080's). I have to balance electricity as I have a several solar systems that add up to roughly 50kw/hour (141 panels). Electric costs in NY are pretty high at 16 cents/kw. So I usually shut down during the summer as heat as a byproduct doesn't make sense. I just purchased 2 Octominer ultras to consolidate systems. Before I was running about 16 Alienwares with 2 3080's in each. (was hard to get 3080's in 2020). Personally I think diversification is key to success. Different GPU's as well as CPU and Asic's to be able to switch and be profitable. The biggest advantage GPU mining has is the flexibility to change. Curious what your opinion on efficiency with newer cards vs older. I am mostly in the 30 series, but question will be if the 40 series will be more efficient or less efficient. With new 50 series coming out Q4 or 2025, will they be more or less efficient.
the last point on why you add a lot of ASIC miners is because you know GPU mining is not viable in the long run. You can still do it because you have cheap electricity. But that won't last forever or the profit will one day be over your cheap electricity. All other points doesn't matter.
I tend to agree with your views. I find gpu intriguing and am building my first 8 card rig. Have 5 cpu rigs and am planning on entering the asic miners as soon as my current coins go up. Good video
I entered after the bull run just during the merge and still mining since then. Not profitable but almost 44% ROI and will HODL to recover and be profitable till the next bull run. Thanks to you for keeping the motivation alive in the community 💯🙏
I bought one of those X12’s. Currently sitting idle but a great deal. And because I believe as you do that altcoin season will bring back profitability again with gpu mining, they will be turned on soon enough 😁

Started with one card and now have 13 and more to come, plus got in to cpu mining and only having to switch off rigs when heat is too much to bare (normally when not well) Still stacking up coins for future happiness.
To be fair - we've been here before but had potential for a comeback. That same potential is no longer here because speculative mining is all that's left. None of these coins have ever on their own been the reason for normal people to want to buy GPUs like Ethereum has.
The one thing that still holds true is to go for yeild because during the bull rush everyone goes to great lengths for a piece of rewards that are taken for granted now

The first pc I built was a core 2 duo as well. Funny. I bought 63 gpu server cases two months ago so yea you could say I still believe in GPU mining. Keep expanding!
I’m just taking a summer break. Even though I am a small home minner with just a few GPUs. It’s just hot to keep running here in the southern USA. I’ll come back once cools down in the fall.
i don't know if i should start GPU mining, i have motherboard and a spare rig and all laying around. I've started mining in the bitcoin lottery with 3 Avalon Nano 3's. So i'm a total newbee in this universe.
xelis is great no fpga, asic, or pos. currently not profitable but if you hold, there will only be 1.8m XEL by end of this year. buying coin from exchanges sux for taxes, every trade is a taxable event. if that's not a major concern for you, all the better. Canada
Been in the game since 2020. Haven't mined recently due to .15ckwh and came get it cheaper. So much idle equipment just waiting to warm my house in winter. Replaces the non profitable electric heater with a heater that maybe break even but I hodl. Made more this way than all my time mining ETH

Crypto is great, but as far as GPU mining goes, when ETH stopped, GPU mining took a major hit. In that sense ETH was GPU mining. Your viewers and myself, we don’t profit off a RU-vid channel, you seem to fail to recognize and understand this. You are really bordering on becoming a RU-vid/Cryptocurrency shill. You plead and plead and plead with your viewers that you’ve been here before, things will turn around. But, you’re not making money on mining, you’re making money off your crypto RU-vid channel, there’s nothing wrong with that, but your viewers are no profiting off a RU-vid channel. Mine and hold is not a viable strategy, you’re throwing away profit. Had you for example mined your coins and exchanged them for something like PEPE or BTC you would be substantially ahead of mine and hold over the last 2 years. Furthermore every time you encounter the problem of rising power costs, you brush by it, bro NVIDIA is making more GPUs then ever, hence GPU’s won’t hold the same value and rising hydro costs and no ETH to rely on. Stop the shilling, stick to the setups.
Financial freedom + passive income is how I got into crypto mining. I love tech + building. Better then not earning anything. Sort of like compounding.
Crypto is becoming too centralized. What I mean by this is that not everybody in their home can run the network because now you're less than a 0.0000000000000001% of the hashrate as an average Joe
I love my 6x2070 and my 12x1660super they pay for my newborn last year i'm never gonna sell them....the only asic i have is the ks0 pro that i won in your and BPs giveaway...
and doesn't require all the work, GPU mining is not passive income as people say, you still have to do allot of work and the payouts are super low since eth sharding
That's where I'm at too. I make $200 a month selling my power and if I mine I lose that plus have to pay another $200 in mining.electticity. I'm $400 a month ahead turning gpu rigs off! HODLing won't beat that by 2026

I also live in Australia and it’s just not worth it for the return. Also accounting in Australia is horrible. I just invest in shares now. So much easier. In my next house I’ll get two Tesla batteries and than maybe turn right back on 😂 Or wait until new graphics cards come out and buy 4090 and mine on that when not gaming 😂. I’m so lost 😭

i mine with gpus,asic,cpus but acting like asics always the best is stupid , each has its own benefits with gpus you wont pay $10K and get crushed after couple weeks of buying you could spec mine "i speced kaspa-alph-dnx-octa and look at them now" dont act like all of asics are kaspa and btc , from ztrash to kda to the d9 to x5 i have 0.048kwh and still the d9 one of the worst in my farm just 1.8$ profit 😑"even though i pay the bill with my paycheck " with gpus you could easily switch algo or undervolt to fight heat also look at the channels that went full asics what happened to them 😏😂 US i love gpus "GPU MINING WILL NEVER DIE "
