King David you are getting into GOAT status at this point. This is the podcast for the grown and sexy. Its great listening to our stars from yesteryears, its nostalgic to relive and learn through their experience. Your growth has been organic most probably through word of mouth. You are the go to man for stars. Keep on keeping on Tafite!
Mama I was touched when u shared the story of your son coming back from Entabeni wamphekela and sent someone to take it to him and he was able to tell u prepared it and you were there. You got 😢 onions were chopped it took me back to when I got that first meal prepared specifically for me by my own mother priceless ❤
This platform right here is creating one of the most timeless conversations of our time.. so humbling how David always seems so surprised that these amazing people say yes to him, and thats because greatness recognises greatness❤
This is indeed a conversation. I like the fact that you let her speak she got to express her wisdom more and we get to benefit from her and got know her more. Thank you.
Another powerful, inspirational and wisdom conversations you gave us. Thank you for this platform I don't mind spending 3 to 4 hours listening and listening
Wow, I’ve learned and reflected so much from this conversation. Sis Nambitha is such a gem, it’s a great pleasure to meet and know her outside of acting. 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽I thoroughly enjoyed this.
I always loved you Diva but I love you more after this interview ❤King David thanks for bringing the best out of everyone you share this space with, I respect you more.
From all the generations actors who left when they speak about Ta Menzi and he's experience on the show, the treatment he got when he was sick is heartbreaking. Gosh mfundi is evil guys💔
Thank you King David for this conversation and many others in the past and the others that are still to come. Wow I liked it when Ms Nambitha Mpulwana indicated that an adult among the youth is "conscience", I just pray that both adults and youth of today comprehend that.
This is a beautiful platform. I was not aware if Nambitha's history but was fascinated by her character "Mawsnde" on generations. Thanks David for the education!! Let's do more of these! Especially from Mams!
She was by all means avoiding the conversation about the biological Mum, understandable, all in all she is a FORCE, calm, fearless, beautiful, courageous, cultured, lovable❤❤❤
I am so grateful for the opportunity to listen to this interview 10/10 . Thank you Diva for the wisdom u so much fun to listen too. We need mores of you ma’am. God bless you. King David love the work you do sir. Shalom
When the talk of a template of what a mother, a daughter, a sister, a niece... A woman. It's coz I haven't met a lady like this that I remain unmarried. What a power house! 🗽🙏🏿🖤
what you do think is got nothing o do with the next person its about you. what you do is about you and who you are, what the other person does its about them . thanks so much for mama Nambitha what a masterclass. thank to you king David
Thank you for King David, i always listen to the podcast as i drive doing my domiciliary care in the UK. You make my day go by so easy and fast. Keep up the good work, your podcast is full of knowledge and you always respect the people you are talking to, you are not after gossip.
One of my all-time favourites... Mam' Nambitha Mpumlwana! I grew up watching her and to this day, when I see her acting, gives me chills down my spine. Thanks for bringing her on. Now I know why, she is a woman of culture. O tlhompha se gaabona! Thank you #KDS
What I love about our South African entertainment legends they know their worth. Problem is just that the country and its administrators are failing these artists. I love the work you are doing Bra David by documenting these stories. Can we have Sindi Dlathu, she hates interviews but please go persuade and get her here. Thanks❤
Prof David, do I dare say! You Sir have now catapulated your status through your humility to the level that only a few of us can call The Enlightned! Thank you Sir! Thank you for the Gift of Enlightenment! Live long, Live peacefully, Just Live and continue to be! Angels do speak through you!
My word... So many gems dropped here i loved the last part where David posed the question on what was learnt from the podcast..It wae soo insightful as i am going through a career transition and have an issue with how things are unpacked and now have learnt its me living in my head. Thank you so much David it was so insightful and also learnt "its all up to ME"
I'm a diva and I wasn't owning it, but from this point I am ❤thank you mamNambitha. I always agreed and own up to my mistakes and understood why people hurt me, self introspection is my thing I wasn't aware that is a character of a diva, oh wow man fears divas 😅I thought I have to tone it down so that I can be more appealing and relevant to man but it was always impossible. I'm a true Diva❤. Thank you king David for this podcasts, I always feel like I'm reading a book.
I have goosebumps, what an amazing interview I strongly believe in the values shared by sis Nambitha. There’s nothing cool about being photographed with alcohol, there’s nothing wrong with disciplining a child within reasonable limits, children are people - talk to them. I also b Personally the Diva in me has jus entered the room thanks to this interview - I have no option but to let her run the show! Enkosi mama
I bumped to this podcast King David by luck while i was paging through RU-vid, I didnt know about it, but i was attracted by Ishmael , i havent stopped since then, when ever im doing night shift ko merekong i make sure i watch an episode, i must say the host is very intelligent and a very humble guy, keep it up my bro....i cannt wait for Putco Mafani chat 🙂
"My mom is here" i cried so much when these words came out of her mouth , Just lost my Mom in December 2023 and the realisation that i will never be able to say those words hit really hard unexpectedly.
Thank you kindly, King David, for documenting our stories. The stories of our people, their struggles, their victories and their approach to life and concocting solutions to problems, not just theirs, but problems we all face as an industry and as a people. We see you sir, we celebrate your life and selflessness. We pay tribute to you, and as you’re giving our stars their flowers to enjoy, we pray that the people who walk with them illuminate your path and strengthen you to never stop doing what your people put you on this dimension to do. You’re one of a kind sir 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🌹🌹🌹
Wow this is one of the ultimate conversations to ever listen, watch and take notes on. My intention was to watch half of it after load shedding and finish off the rest in the morning unfortunately I couldn't because this was a master class about life. Sis Nambitha affirmed my existence thank you, King David. The gay community discussion got me nodding my head as a gay person and from the older generation, we coexisted with heterosexuals and there was respect now, I don't know what's happening and what happen, and we can't fold our hands and go blind, we must do something. Rami Chuene said "Ideas are like a thief, they come to you for execution and if you don't do anything about them, they move to the next person that can bring them to alive". Diva Nexus sounds exactly like an idea I've been discussing with your former colleague. We need a platform for women to talk and share life's challenges and, in the process, empower the next female generation.
My hero Nambitha thanks for what you did for me. I think you forgot and I will never forget. I have a great eye sight because of you... You booked me and even dropped me off and made sure everything is done. I can't thank you enough
Bro Dave you are amazing I loved the last part it was amazing. I think after that I would like to see your relationship with Zozo. And how is she doing now. I share the same sentiments as hers with my uncle. I am unable to continue my business with him because the pitch and the tone when we are discussing business makes us fight so much.
Interesting role her dad played. Love it actually, maybe I am in the same situation as for as family dynamic is concerned. Love Nambitha....such a diva.
By Sept2024,we will be at 200k subscribers...i am watching old recordings because i enjoy your work KingDa. Ms Mpumlwana is sooo beautiful.when i was younger,i thought she is Yvonne Chakachaka's sister,ba tshwana
Please tell me how I watched a podcast for 3 and half hours with so much ease ❤ the most wholesome conversations ever. The flow between Nandipha and David, absolutely amazing. Can’t wait for the release of the project she’s working on. We’ll be on the lookout. All may that you touch turn into gold Diva ❤❤
I love this lady and the whole conversation. Keep it up King David, now this is the real stuff we need, where it's not about "gossip" or ratings but adding value and learning to make our lives and country better.
