I love how as black people we're starting to wake up and be curious about our spirituality... I'm certain that generations from now we'll be in a far better position than now❤
You want to understand Zulu culture, read Old Testament. You want to understand God, read new Testament. Culture is only going to get worse my brother. Angiwalandeli amadlozi, uNkulunkulu wafika kuqala kunawo. UYIDLOZI LAMADLOZI.
Whoever finds themselves watching this, you were led here to hear something for yourself in this. After watching please go check yourself and your fam. African tradition is so alive & real.Too bad we don't also have a printed manual (i.e Bible) for everyone to revert to & know how to live their life the right african way. Thokozani!
Ei can't we do that though? Like our generation must document these things. Like every clan must have a writer and tradition keeper. It would make things so much easier.
I know it to be a fact that PHD nor university or grave possess wisdom,Ask Job 28:1till the end of the book he will tell you where wisdom is really found.🤞
The amount of knowledge I've acquired from this episode has made me realise that Christianity has played a part in the disintegration of African values and practices.
If you read the Bible properly you discover that it is not very different from what she's saying, especially the old testament. I feel that the missionaries are the ones who selected only what will benefit them to have power and control over the people and by preaching the inferiority of the African religions.
You can't listen to this and not get your act together after this masterclass , no sugarcoating no beating around the bush , she eloquently covered all aspects clearly can tell she is not manga manga .
No. Practice makes perfect. No problem with sex before marriage but foolish to have child in a loveless relationship. The wise say it is not marriage that is sacred but sex!
Brilliant interview. I'm 39 years old and guess what, it has now surfaced that my Mom kumele angikhunge. That is why my life is not progressing like it sould. I am a Dlozi child but even that I found out later in my life about. My Granny was a Sangoma. Like this baffled us but my Mom explained she had the most difficult and traumatic pregnancy and delivery with me. Here we are 39 years later, kumele ngikhungwe.Thank you for explaining this so well. I've downloaded for my Mom to listento. Makukhanye👏
Wow I love her spirit she seems very soft spoken for a person onamakhehla. But I love how she articulated and explained everything so simply. Our spirituality is not a burden it's a way of a prosperous life!!
What an informative session can we have Khehla twice a month to educate us, because after this it all makes sense that we have to go back to the roots and all will be sorted.
what broke my heart is how i didn’t even understand some of the terms that she used until she explained and it really showed how westernised and uncultured we’ve become😭this should be general knowledge to us african kids but no you’ll find parents demonising their own ancestors and not allowing us to learn about our beautiful african traditions💔and most of us yearn to learn more about our lineages and i believe this is why we as african kids have become so lost and hopeless because certain traditions weren’t upheld by abazali and we weren’t allowed the opportunity to learn about our past instead we are constantly being fed the history of Britain and Germany but how does that benefit the African child?
Le se ke la duma dilo tša batho, look at the world that you live your family right now, what are they doing for you, and why would they be different when they dead
I wish they touched the issue of fathers who reject their kids. In-laws who stand by the kids who rejects their own. Surely there must be rituals that can stand in the gap to protect kids from such🤔
Its not easy especially when you are married to someone who doesn't acknowledge his ancestors even his mom doesn't and im gifted i love acknowledging my ancestors so ke matsapa and mathata😢Thank you Mkhulu ive learned so much🙏❤
I always enjoy listening to Gogo Manjoro.I truly appreciate all the knowledge she equips us with in her teachings. She always clears up the misconceptions..., at least for me. And the fact that in this conversation, I hear her acknowledges God as the one who's greater than anything and everyone, has made me feel great admiration for her. She's just phenomenal.
King David thanks for the wonderful show ey this is lady is out of this world she is a walking encyclopedia really you can feel she is not the one who is talking but the Khehla in her who does it all. Wow! Information is mind-blowing 😮😢 please bring iKhehla Manjoro monthly for the spiritual wisdom 🙏 🙌 ✨ 👏 ❤
Yahoo I have never come across someone who is so well informed and yet humble, Kehla Manjoro you are one in a million, wish I can get to consult with you.
Surprisingly this information you find it in all spiritual cultures worldwide. It reminds me of the books by Dolores Cannon and many others who delve deeper into the spiritual! I wish Gogo Manjoro could write books about this.
I will never grow tired of listening to all Khehla Manjoro's teachings. What a lovely hour watching this beautiful, informative episode! 👏👏👏👏 Thank you very much to King David and Khehla Manjoro 🙌🙌🙌 #Amadlozi #KhehlaManjoro
Please put subtitles I looooove the switching between English & the local language & just really love the sounds of African language not sure if its Zulu, xhosa etc us non native speakers loose the conversation & gold nuggests spoken in the local language . Please consider 😂😂😂🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
It would be interesting to hear her take on what should happen when kids are formed in the laboratory from a sperm donor or an egg donor (like in Moshe Ndiki’s case). Does the surrogate mother’s ancestors acknowledge the child although she was merely an incubator for the embryo?
I respect her perspective n understand all the she had said,in my case for the past 35 i've been practicing all this traditional n cultural things, but as of last year I made a sole decision to stop practicing all these things n repented gave my life into Christ n all things r working in harmony that's my life m talking abt n m not crushing anybody's beliefs.
Dear our Host, we thank you for bringing uMkhulu Manjoro to the show. Who in their right mind is not hypnotize by uMkhulu's voice and wisdom, no maan, uMkhulu rocks maan, siyabonga Khehla, Camagu
Mkhulu manjoro you are in the league of your own I have never heard a spiritual healer so well knowledgeable and the way you explain my god yours is a real calling god bless you 🙏🇿🇦🙏🇿🇦🙏🇿🇦
I wish this information van be preached everywhere on Radio, schools and in churches. Brown people are very confused lost nation. I love the topic because I believe very much in my ancestors.
It seems African spirituality prioritises perfection over happiness. It discourages divorce and we must reconcile with family members we are no longer on good terms with. Also, it would be interesting to know how trauma is addressed in African spirituality, I do think unresolved and continuous trauma is our biggest issue as South Africans, bigger than spiritual issues.
I beg to differ sisi when you say it priorities perfection over happiness. She did mention how most of the problems are actually spiritual. So the starting point would be to make sure that spiritually you are aligned, then the rest shall follow.
I also find with African spirituality for ancestors to be cruel people, they make your life miserable for practising something they themselves never taught u anything about. I feel we are just a traumatized nation that's trying to find healing and explanations from all sides yet we remain a mess, they lost the country to foreigners yet they punish us as their own to suffer until we acknowledge them? Ay make me understand. I have more questions than answers. And I get exactly what u mean, we have fathers that deliberately neglect their kids and instead of the ancestors to come together and work for the well being of the child they make the child suffer for life...aay CUT!
@@DzunyBThey're cruel, because that's the Devil, not your dead loved ones. They are familiar spirits. They masquerade as your dead loved ones to win your trust and affection and lead you astray. None of this is of God, but South Africans are so blinded!
@@DzunyBwhat do you mean African spirituality is cruel ? Is Christianity not cruel? Majority of you people who are Christian are poor, live difficult lives and you deceive yourselves by saying there’s a better life when you die. Truth is every believe system has good and bad. You guys only mention this about African spirituality because you are colonised and ashamed of African things.
Thank you so much for the enlightenment we need these conversations as Africans. We are in a mess. So excited to discover this channel at this point in time in my journey trying to fix the mess because I didn't know better. I am excited with the journey and discovering my spirit guides who are guiding me. Enkosi Khehla Manjoro. Camagu 👏🙏
Khehla Manjoro and King David I'm grateful to be educated about all of this African Spirituality, on my side there's a lot I need to fix on my own because after the passing of my great-grandmother that's when I had it hard and it was like a dream,i must say ancestors are powerful hey they've been watching us and my daughter, maternal grandmother showed us flames😢...I'm still finding my feet
Watching for the 2nd time now am listening for understanding 🔥🙏🏿 this lady is power knowledge just the things In me in words. My mom shares the blood from the Tjopi clan also now I get why I love muzambican music...
so much humility, So much wisdom and warmth. Truly gifted, you can tell it wasn't bought. I can listen forever. But the Western culture has ruined everything.
Thank you, thank you. Wow, l enjoyed this very informative bhuti nogogo. This gogo l can see for alignment of my culture. She calm and full of positive energy. We need more of these episodes
There is a spiritual awakening taking place in Africa. The spark in interest of Africans for the subject of spirituality has lead to misunderstanding of “go thwasa” that’s why many people jow go to initiation because like she said, madlozi ba phakama when there is a problem in the family.
One thing i know for sure is that with African Spirituality,it is never a one size fits all?as Africans we are different tribes that practice different things so we cannot all follow the same path when it comes to these rituals
Exactly. She is doing practices of machangane from mozambique and zulu practices. Black people suffer because they end up adopting all rituals out there which they end up calling on foreign bad spirits
After listening to this show I realise I know nothing, absolutely nothing!!! Thanks very much for great show David and Khehla Manjoro.,,and for the knowledge and wisdom Ancestors embedded on you. Khanyaleseli 👏🏿🕯️
This is very educational because some of us people we forget where we come from, we say we won't do what our forefathers did is ancient history we living in a new era. Lost nation 😢
Mind nourishing and wisdom packed, thank you very much. UGogo is so clear, humble, honest and very knowledgeable. Please invite her again she's just too good 🕯🕯🕯🕯
