The mobs spawning in the ancient city is so annoying…. A zombie nearly got me killed not the warden

imagine being a kid playing minecraft for the first time and spawing in the deep dark

The fact that you've been playing for almost a decade and just now learned that the enchanting table resets itself after enchanting an item is funny. You always seem to find some way to entertain us. I keep a chest or two of enchanted books from using them to reset the table when I'm looking for specific enchantments for my equipment. It can be useful when you need certain ones.

Cool to see people try surviving in the ancient cities for a challenge. This is so interesting and inspiring on how people could live in the Ancient City and manage too live with the warden without dying.

The excitement of obtaining a potato reminded me of the superflat series where simple rare drops are treasured "oh but we need dirt now... But still I got a potato!" That killed me more then it should have

This was really neat to watch, so thank you. I am really annoyed that the Mojang Bedrock team seems to keep getting fairly important things wrong with the updates and they don't fix them prior to the release. The Deep Dark mob spawning, the Axe being the tool of choice for Mangrove Roots, that Mangrove Roots should be able to be waterlogged and contain the water, etc. are issues that directly affect how the game is played with these features.

Hahaha, this video felt nice and short, even if it wasn't actually that short, which I think is a good thing. This feels like something I would do when I was younger, make a new world for a cool seed and only play it for only a short while before moving on to a new one.

I thought the only mob that was supposed to spawn in the ancient cities was the warden. Looks like they still need to fix that on bedrock

Oh btw there's a glitch where you can crouch jump constantly and the sensors will never go off

i had a dream on being on a old sized world with a mob that i could describe as an over-sized enderman constantly running around the map and i remember i survived long enough to have iron gear and a base and i went to a forest to get seeds wood and food but the enderman shows up and starts randomly chasing me and then hits me which tooked half my health so i place water on and i start to block myself up with planks but the enderman can break planks and killed me.

You always post the best videos super fast too. you just streamed yesterday and now you've already made and edited another one for us to watch. that's dedication.

I think that if you silktouch a skulk shrieker they can’t summon the warden. I haven’t watched to the end of the video to find out if you figured this out.

Why are entities spawning in the deep dark? Is that just a bedrock thing or...

*My theory is that the Warden (back then) could actually see and didn't attack the people that were down there at the time. But after those people left, the cities obviously fell apart and slowly went dark. So, after years of being down there with pretty much no light, the Wardens eventually went blind and now they can't differentiate between enemies and the players anymore, that's why it attacks anything that makes sound in it's territory. It's kinda sad tbh, but so is the whole lore of Minecraft.*

2:05 the warden will not spawn from player placed shriekers, only naturally generated ones in the ancient city. Even if you replace them the warden will not spawn

why would you actually want to spawn the warden? you should of just broke the shreikers

Ibx if you break a skulk shrieker with or without a silktouch tool you will deactivate the shrieker

Me and my friend are planning on building a base in an ancient city so that we have our own defense system

Can you not disable the Skulk shriekers by covering them with the wool found in the structure? Seems like it was placed there for that reason

Just a heads up to any switch users, the ancient city music will blow your switch speakers. Went to the ancient city yesterday and my speaker worked fine before I went and now it’s all muffled and crackly and doesn’t even work half the time.

For anyone who is interested in a seed that spawns you next to a mangrove swamp, a jungle, a savannah with a village, AND possibly more (since this was what I found in the little amount of time I had p!aying in survival). The best part? The seed number is 696969696969696969. I hope you guys check it out, and I hope you see this toycat!

I did something similar on this seed but with playstation vr just to make it that much scarier. Although I found with all that wool around it wasn't too hard, you just had to take a small timeout if you heard a shrieker go.

I found it because you play bedrock. When I first started playing in my uni dorm room I didn't have a gaming computer. I was new to gaming and picked the less powerful computer version and soon found all RU-vids did JAVA. I'm so thankful for your videos and the help and guidance they give to those with bedrock 🥳

I wish there was more incentive for content creators to make high-quality long-form (30+ minute) videos, but the algorithms seem to favor shorter, lower-effort videos. in other words, I don't like that long-form content rarely performs/pays as well as the better supplied alternative.

this seed is yes I found an abandoned portal frame Halfway to the surface Pretty much straight up from spawn Not gonna lie I explore a little And the 1st 15 minutes I saw and was killed by my 1st warden ! I Went in to Creative mode And made myself A little safe place With plenty of light next to the portal frame A bunch of chests A crafting table and a furnace I have saved my world now going to go in To survival And try my best to loot the city I feel like walking on rugs And wool blocks Keeps your feet from Making noise I looted a couple of chests On my 1st little run a golden Apple And a couple swift sneak booksI have squirreled away I'm not giving myself any more advantages just a place to run and hide I swear you have the best seeds I'm gonna be doing this for weeksOne of the things I like about thisAncient city is there are obviously 2 groups here It looks like the ancient builders But then there's all this wooden construction And all this wool and carpet Like Somebody was excavating and actively avoiding the warden There is a definite story here

TOYCAT! You cant spawn in the warden using shriekers placed by band or summoned by a catalyst. It doesnt matter if you use silk touch or not. Or maybe thats just a java thing? Idk but check it up at least

Enchanting pro-tip. If you don't get the enchantment you want, enchant a book at the lowest level instead. It will still roll your pickaxe enchantments and you can still un-enchant them for xp, but you also have the option of say getting two or three lower level books of the enchantment you're looking for that you can anvil together to get what you wanted. (Note: put the books together before put them on your tool/weapon instead of adding each book to the tool/weapon to save on xp costs.)

What's really cool about this seed is the close mansion nearby. I didn't watch the whole vid so idk if you mentioned this but I wanted to try this out with a friend and without help or tips and it was my first time in an ancient city so I learned a lot. my friend noticed the mansion first when they respawned on the surface and looked around for food. I thought they were joking because no way could you find a mansion just 10 minutes walking around but it was true.

I am not sure how it is on Bedrock, but un Java it isn't possible to spawn the Warden with player placed Shriekers.

I have to say, sonic thru like 20 layers of blocks is annoying and seems stupid... Nice challenge there tho

inital 1.19 release was quite bad hopefully a 1.19.10 patch makes things work better

I like the idea of a week long challenge, but it was a little confusing with you switching between talking about Minecraft days and IRL days

Ibxtoycat you know there's a very nice room called the lab in the ancient city's where you can live without problems of the warden

As a person who got stuck in one of these with no pickaxe it is terrifying watching spiders fall to their death and slowly taking over your little camp with skulk

I can kill a warden in 30 hits and with full diamond armor with protection iv the warden will take 1 heart every hit and the sonic boom

Me and my friend used this seed, my friend spawned warden next to me as a prank so I set it to peaceful and broke all the shriekers in survival

I don't think you can spawn a warden if u place that block...only naturally generated ones can spawn the warden

I've not watched the video yet but that thumbnail makes it look like you have completed a quest for the warden and need to turn it in.

I'd try my best at the level 30 enchant even without the guarantee of fortune because stuff like unbreaking 3 usually has more enchants when you get it in the enchantment table
