The Arctic Blast change is actually horrific. They’ve made it illogically janky. Warden is going to be extinct again if it goes through… unless we buy the DLC for the new Healing Soul burst heal, I’d hate to think Zeni is this shady🧐😆 No idea why they’re claiming it was oppressive being a ‘damage, stun and heal’ all in one since the stun only comes in 2 seconds after 2 warning Arctic DoT pulses. It’s gotta be the only CC that basically screams at the opposing players that it’s incoming. Also, it’s no different to casting a burst heal then CCing somebody 2 seconds later on any other class. The literal only benefit of Arctic Blast is it’s great for bar space - having a burst heal and CC in one, and it’s mainly our only access to the Glacial Presence passive.
Artic blast is less relevant now with stun on demand from scribing skills. Polar wind is a better heal. It really doesn't change Warden that much. The change to Piercing Cold is much more problematic for Warden PvP. Losing The 12% damage bonus for using Ice Staff is a major blow for Frost Wardens.
@@swingkid1771 Polar wind is a worse heal now since you have to be below 30k health if you want the 8% damage (frost staffs included). And you still lose a bar slot having to now split your CC and heal across two skills. Not to mention from dropping arctic you lose the very valuable access to proc the Glacial Presence passive which makes up a lot of warden damage. The reason ice staffs were even nerfed for the 4% damage was to compensate for this arbitrary, bad change to arctic, since it increases AoE dps as a spammable now. also, i do not believe it’s ethical for zenimax to force us to buy the scribing DLC, especially when it’s due to unjust changes like this that make our classes unplayable.
@@meganaxeliar This doesn't actually effect the skill of Polar wind.. The problem is with the change to Piercing cold. Forces you to choose, but PW is the same either way. And ZOS has had some things added to the base game and some things locked in DLC. Nothing new here.
@@swingkid1771 So your complaint is just one thing of piercing cold over all the other major reasons. And even then most agree that the piercing cold change is amazing and exactly what the game needed. Indeed you should not be able to run 40k+ health warden crutching off polar wind and still do damage. With a trainee backbar or health glyph on my shield I’ll be above 30k health for the nice block mitigation, and be at 29.9k front bar for the damage. Most skilled wardens would have 0 problem with this if zenimax didn’t gut our main burst heal and DoT for no reason. And the purpose of DLC is to ADD to the game, not create a necessity for people to play the game. It’s called ‘pay to win’. And even still you’re now having to sacrifice a skill to slot separate a DLC CC and DLC burst heal. This also kills class diversity, we want to use warden skills on our warden. … and again, you won’t even have access to the Glacial Presence passive. Do you not understand the weight behind this?

I run MagArcanist but my main spamable is Flail, so I utilise Stam just for that. I can see why ZoS are doing this and want Fatecarver to be the final follow up after you build your x3 Cruxes, but removing the execute on Flail is a very short sighted change. I never actually intentionally use Flail as a final execute if I do it’s because of my rotation ending that way. They should add execute to Fatecarver to make it more desirable for Arcanists if ZoS want it to be the finishing skill. Fatecarver is still desirable to use regardless IMO. Good to see they are buffing Tentacular Dread - however I will still be rolling with Flail for the Crux creation and heals.

All I want is for a rework to Empowering Grasp to do something useful. It used to be so good and actually made having a necro healer worth it before the changes to Empower. It's like the devs have not keyed on to the fact that any HA build player already has their own source of Empower from either Oaken or Mages Guild skills and providing it on a support skill is completely useless.
They do have some good food but good food is everywhere. I feel like it's natural selection at this point if you choose to live in high risk zones. Same as choosing to skydive or ride a motorcycle. Imo.
Why? When you just buff buff and buff without nerfing all you get is power creep. Do you want a lot of content to be trivialized because seeing your OP favorite class get a well deserved nerf?

What content are you running that's fucking trivialized by trash mobs getting cleaned up more efficiently? You realize that arcanist is outperformed on single target by other classes like templar? Quit justifying their shit balancing decisions, nerfing arcanist isn't going to fix the issues of some dps classes having no viability in a trial hm or trifecta
@@fireraid9173 Your post isn't making much sense. First you bring up "hard content", then you say that it's actually "piss easy" then proceed to explain that most classes are not viable. Doesn't make any sense. Then your solution is to buff everything so the "piss easy" content gets even easier. You can't make this up. Has it crossed your mind that maybe the content is too easy when the best performing class has largely a 2-3 button rotation, their cleave damage is insane, their survivability is good and they retain their damage during mechanics and mobile fights.
They need to nerf Hardened Ward.. Most people have 30k HP in PvP.. 72% of that is a MASSIVE 21,600 shield. God damn it gete annoying PLUS a heal on top for non pet builds, sucks ass
The vampire and Arc nerfs were a little heavy handed in my opinion, but then I'm biased lol, I play a Dark Elf Vampire Arcanist, just always hate it when they nerf my favorite class I play. The Vamp nerf is gonna be bad.. it was too much and was balanced around PvP,.. now we'll see alot more nightblades 1 shotting people from stealth all the time
So Vampires now have no use whatsoever, Happy at least Necromancers got some love and you survived an horrible weather with your loved ones, including pets. Five day's inconvenience for surviving a natural disaster, I would take it.
I have good internet and the game is lagging worse each patch. I just don't know what they are doing. I've purchased enough crown items to pay for a server upgrade.. I'm just confused
The sorc set is by far the worst piece of garbage I've seen in a long ass time. Keep the damage to monsters but give some kind of pvp use with pets or something. Hp and armor... like why tf would you need that if you have pets tanking for you. 99% of all pet sorcs are ranged dps. Such a useless set.
Even as non-pet it sucks, i really doubt that 15% extra damage will do much when you're tanking your WSD for it. The 2-4pc bonuses scream PvP, yet the 5pc seems entirely worthless
Nah, Dragonknight with the new class set, Arcanist with the new class set. They’re still in *crazy* good spots. My two separate frost wardens however? 😅
Whatever spin they try to put on these NB changes; functionally, they are a *MASSIVE* PvP buff. Veiled Weapon, which all the shitters flocking to the NB class constantly spam, will now grant an additional 438 crit rate, thanks to the Pressure Points passive. And Blur will be *WAY* more defensively potent (2x+ what it is now), thanks to the Shadow Barrier and Dark Veil passives. But I'm sure that throwing even more fuel on the dumpster-fire which is PvP class-balance is a small price to pay for making-happy the three players who tank on NB. _Just kidding, no one tanks on NB (unless you count X-ing in Cyro)._ The class exists solely to allow mediocre players to effortlessly dominate PvP. Any other stated role is simply a pretense.
I have a NB for PvP. I find I SUUUUUUUUUCK lol. You really need to have rotations DOWN. They need to remain stealthy and just need to have a good set up. The amount of stuff I’ve spent to try and make my PvP build work for me has been insane. Haven’t found one yet still. Dueling is probably best but I don’t lol so I go into BG and die the whole time.
As a person who has to deal with tornados, I just find it really hard to feel sorry for people that live in hurricane areas and dont evacuate. You days, maybe even over a week of notice. You know what we get? It ranges from Nothing to about 15 minutes tops.
Why do you live in an area with tornados? Just evacuate/move. Also Hurricane Beryl veered off its predicted trajectory. Most of the ordeal is with the power outage anyway.
@NefasQS You live texas dude.. So my question, why do you even live in a state with both hurricanes and tornados? 4 days is a long week end, people sleep in tents for fun on that time frame. Both hurricanes and tornado outbreaks have stretched into multimonth outages. It hit matgorda, like was predicted, it passed over the yucatan, and landed on the texas coast exactly as predicted. Almost smack the fuck in the middle of the predicated landfall zone after the adjustment was made once it had passed over the yucatan. You act like people, especially those in the southeast weren't watching the news.
All that happens is PvP people bitch and then they mess with a class or idk what prompts it exactly but that’s my OP. I won’t lie it’s really good, the archanist and its flail/beam. They nerfed my beam but it’s still stupid strong. Flail is the only other move we have worth something for DPS for the most part. If it means I switch to runeblades that’s fine, I’ll build crux faster and it’s cheaper than flail thus I can beam way more. I can see this messing with PVP mostly, but it will affect PVE too. Update to come to ps5 September I’ll enjoy my build while I can. But Do you really complain ever seeing an archanist on your team? When I see one and I’m not playing my main I know I should be safe to pass the dungeon if they know their rotation and don’t have a 💩 build. The more, the faster it should be and if doing trials then I know our dps should be half decent. When I’m in dungeons I shred things, I can 90% of the time always be a fake healer. I enjoy the archanist very much personally
