yep but that doesn't change the fact the west screwed up Vietnam and caused all the sufferings. There is no sadder lives than seeing an Asian or a black people taking on a western name, It means their roots and cultural are totally eradicated. They are a lost soul in this vast world. Operation babylift may have airlifted a lot of babies out of Vietnam and I for once do not believe US is doing it for charity. There are agenda we are not aware of.

Aww his face lit up when talking about his wife. His story is incredibly amazing and he survived the odds! I learned that the Vietnam War was horrific for both the soldiers drafted against their will and for the vietnamese people that were raped and killed by American soldiers (My Lai massacre). It's hard to learn that our country had done a lot of bad things too but I hope this won't be repeated again.

“Never be in a war again” - But unfortunately, China doesn’t share that same mentality. See what they’re doing to the Uyghurs? How about Tibet, Hong Kong, and Taiwan? It’s sad that to this day countries like China and Russia still thinking about conquering or annexing the surrounding countries, which goes to show history will repeat itself.

You might have passed your parent/extended family without knowing. I know for sure they do think of you. I hope somehow some day by some miracle you get reunited again with them but if you don't I want you to find consolation in the fact that you were loved and for you to have survived all that just know that you are most certainly special. Build your own roots, have a family of your own and let your offspring take it from there.

I always say you never can tell by looking at a person what they have been through in their lives but I'm glad Chris has this platform to share his story because he is one of a few survivors of both his orphanage and the plane crash, and there are others out there that have the same or similar stories and maybe someone watching has more information and can help fill in some gaps of his life. You just never know. Thank you for sharing Chris.

Sadly, if you watch this guys’ videos now you will see he is a condescending jerk with no self-awareness and even admits he loves making fun of certain people, while droning on and on about being an ever youthful Adonis. 8:34 . He failed as a film maker even in South Korea where anti-Asian prejudice can’t be blamed. Failed in the navy, failed as a professor. He’s full of grievances and a loafer. Now he’s a finance RU-vidr which is full of clowns and lets him feel superior.

Chris may first say, thank you for opening yourself up and allowing all of us in, that is a hard, hard thing to do! This video is before you had your DNA search, and a great one to attach to the more recent one where you again open up and share with us that you soon may be reunited with your family! Such wonderful news by the way ❤️ I for one would love to see you, since you have connections and you have skills in film, that you would make an independent Movie about your life story, even though you're still young you have much to share and I would definitely watch, and I think 100s of thousands would also watch! Everyone loves a happy ending so let's hope your journey also finds its way, not to a happy ending, rather a happy beginning 👍. Anyway, wish you all the love and support you greatly deserve!
