@@paraxysm Most loaded people I’ve known and come across in my travels are not exactly generous or nice lmao. Most acts of kindness I received from strangers when I was a homeless teen were from people who were rather poor themselves. This was just my personal experience being homeless and hitchhiking in three different states and obviously everyone is different and my experiences aren’t universal. Really my point is that it’s not about affording to be kind and generous, but being capable of empathizing and understanding the situation. I’ve met many poor people who would give someone the shirt off their back and many rich people who look down on you or just treat you like you’re invisible. It could be the other way around at times, but that was so much more rare.

@@Omnibushido- I'm super late to this comment, but it's been my experience as well. People who don't have much to give are typically the most generous because they have lived through similar scenarios in which they know what it's like to go without. People who have a lot of money and come from money tend to not be able to see the reason to help someone in a bad place, because they view them as lazy or shady.

@@Cripplifiedomg 100%. I've worked for people who live in genuine mansions on massive estates, millionaires who built their own massive houses... and people who live in one bedroom council flats. The poorer people are ALWAYS the ones who give tips, presents at Christmas, give us extra work and pay on time. The rich ones pay only the exact amount, even haggle your prices, never tip, ask you to do extra but don't expect to pay and never give anything extra even at Christmas.. 9/10 this is how it works. There is the odd generous rich customer and they're always the ones who come from poorer backgrounds!

I met Casey in 2021 randomly in the park down the street from my house one day at like 8 in the morning, he was there filming an event and I just found a moment to come up and say hey I've watched his videos for years and he thanked me and then he took my phone and took a few nice selfies of us and then walked away all in a span of about 15 seconds, dude's a pro 11/10 interaction
