This is my instrumental own arrangement for this country balad very popular in USA and Canada in the voice of John Michael Montgomery in the 90's. In Brazil, this song was recorded by Leandro & Leonardo in 1995 as a cover version intitled "Eu Juro".
"I Swear" is a ballad written by Gary Baker and Frank J. Myers that became a hit for two acts in 1994. Initially, it was a number-one single on the U.S. Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart for American country music artist John Michael Montgomery at the beginning of the year. His version crossed over to pop radio and climbed to number 42 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 1 in Canada.
Here in Brazil, this song, called "Eu Juro". was a great success in 1995 with Leandro & Leonardo in a cover version.. At that time, the original recording, with John Michael Montgomery was complete unknowed here....
