I'm back with another sushi video since you guys like it so much! I was really curious about the largest conveyor belt sushi restaurant in the world, so I had to give it a visit. Kura Sushi is a very well-known conveyor belt sushi restaurant chain in Japan and it's such an awesome family restaurant! This branch just opened 3 months ago so I've really been dying to go. My sushi cravings have definitely been satisfied! How many pieces did I eat? Watch to find out!

@@whatchuHANAdo I ate at Kura in Atlanta, GA last week and that same amount of food would have been $74.36 with tax and about 89 bucks with tip! And the quality of the food is much more superior in Japan! Not to mention the majority of what you ordered isn’t available at our location.

Thank you for sharing your experience at the Largest Kura in Japan. We have a Kura Sushi in the San Francisco Bay Area (Cupertino), but it is not that big. BTW, you probably already know by now, but for the sushi with lid, you should lift ONLY the plates (NOT the lid) and the lid will automatically open.

@@whatchuHANAdo Hi Hana, there’s a Kura where I live in TX, and it’s popular. The waits can get to two hours on busy nights! Sadly the quality/cleanliness will never be up to par with Japan, but it’s satisfactory for my Americanized taste buds 😂. Also, you get the toy automatically after 15 plates. There is no game in the US

We have a Kura that opened up in Torrance California, I believe they charge $3.29 per plate. Haven't tried it yet but I have been to several revolving sushi bars. I like the idea of instant sushi rather than having to wait.

in japan they're 0.75 per plate and the quality is higher than the ones in usa. thats why I never been to those stores when i was in the US. Pure rip off.

There is a Kura Outside of Atlanta about 30 minutes from em and it is pretty great. Much smaller, but still nice when it isn't too busy. Thanks for sharing!

We love Kura! We have a handful near us here in So. California that we frequent, my kids love it so much and we compete to see who has the most plates at the end. Ours also has a robot that brings drinks and other things that aren’t made by the kitchen.

I still enjoy ordering from the menu than the revolving conveyor bar. I was at Kura Friday How come the Kura here have no games? Oh I saw that screen on the table I’ll use it next time I might win a car! Rarely do, Love The Uni roll!!!!And their cold sake! Good comfort food ! Great video vlog im still learning a lot!

Same! I rarely get plates from the conveyor belt, unless it’s at my favorite one in Shibuya haha I think the Kura there is similar to the normal ones here in Japan! :) the ones with big screens are only in a few branches here! :) The cold sake is delicious!! When you get to come here, you should go to a sushi restaurant everyday! Haha

I went here last night in Watertown MA. Our restaurant was 15 plates to get a prize . It was fun!!! The kids loved it. Our drinks came on a robot as well.

Genki sushi in Hawaii had the touch to order before Covid was even a thing the sushi there looks ok but I’m more a salmon and tuna kinda guy with ebi shrimp and backed mussel those things are amazing at genki sushi lol

I visited the Kura in the suburbs of Chicago. The sushi was great! My ordering screen was above the conveyors so I didn't keep a close eye on my plate count. Quick way to spend $50 on lunch! I do want to go again though! Your bill at conversion rates in May 2023 was only about $25 US!

@@whatchuHANAdo I walked quite a bit to get there later at night, it is a little out of the way. It's pretty good. They also have a wide selection of side dishes you can order , like chili-shrimp, karaage, that sort of thing.

Yes! Haha it was definitely A LOT of food, but sushi is one of my absolute favorite food in the world so it wasn't too difficult to eat much! Lol! In my all-you-can-eat sushi video I had 40 pieces of sushi. Haha I think when my body takes in the word "buffet" or the words "all-you-can-eat" I immediately become a cow and grow 3 more stomachs inside of me. hahaha

There’s a Kyra in Sacramento, California. Each plate is $3.50 USD. The highlight is the robot server, who I sternly told I would not be tipping equipment. The sushi is ok, Sacramento is not exactly known for its food. However, their inari is the best I’ve ever had, including my own. The garlic rice is so salty I found it inedible. I ordered miso soup which was barely warm, and the tofu bites were refrigerator temperature. When I see people at Kuras outside the US, I’m so jealous.

I’m sad to hear that the sushi was just okay and that the garlic rice was inedible. 😞 so when you do go to Kura Sushi, you usually just order the inari? ☺️

Hi Ramen Slayer! I think you can try going to a specific branch on Google maps and clicking on “find a table” ☺️ There are a lot of kura sushi branches here in Japan and usually you can get a seat the same day! We went to a new one in Michigan last week, it was great but very small. Unfortunately we were seated at the very last table at the end of the conveyor so most of the passing covers were empty but being able to place orders was great.

@@whatchuHANAdo I don't really remember lol but I think I tried it at buffets and didn't like it. I didn't like the soft slightly salty texture. Then my mom got me some sushi from Safeway which tasted better lol I guess it's an acquired taste for me. Now I prefer all kinds of salmon sushi. My friend got me to try poke bowl and I looove it! 😁❤️

Just a quick suggestion; get a voiceover baffle for your microphone so you're not getting early reflection that sounds like a quick echo? Oh wow! I didn't know! Earlier I think they thought it could be transmitted by touch or contact. People are still required to wear masks indoors here in Japan and people comply so I guess that's good knowing that it's much more likely to be transmitted through air!

Great inspiration for a restaurant but you have to have customers all the time which is difficult. Small plates with different flavors are great. Tell them to put sake on the menu too.

The Kura in Cupertino, CA is my new favorite restaurant as of about six months ago -- I go about every two weeks. I don't know of any sushi joint around here that is as excellent, esp. for the prices. (They have real crab, which gets 10 extra bonus points immediately.) My limit is 7 plates though (I try to keep it to 5). 23 would make me barf, or at least be supremely uncomfortable for a couple days. The environment there is quite different -- no curtains per table (but I almost always sit at the "bar"). There is no "pistol" range either...The delivery belts and plates are the same though.

I think you would love the other chain conveyor belt sushi restaurants here too! There are A LOT! Kura Sushi and Sushiro are definitely the most affordable ones here though. ☺️ 7 plates is plenty! I just really love sushi and love eating a lot of it. I don’t normally eat this much daily. Haha I would be as big as a whale right now if I did. This particular branch I went to is very different from other Kura Sushi chains! If I’m right, it’s the first one with the range. The only extremely similar to this one in design is the one in Asakusa!
