Dining at the most Futuristic Sushiro in the world that comes with a huge virtual conveyor belt! Sushiro Shinjuku Nishiguchi Japan, 〒160-0023 Tokyo, Shinjuku City, Nishishinjuku, 1 Chome−1−1 新宿パレットビル 6階
I like this method much better since it presumably eliminates having items that have rotated on the conveyer belt for a relatively long time and items are more likely to be made to order. I'd totally go broke here even with the decent prices. And that race game was hilarious and adorable. Also, those Gundam prizes were pretty cool and worth $5!
I agree, it's a really cool idea for the reasons you mentioned, and even though it's not a huge priority for me when next I go back to Japan? I'd go to this place to try it out, for sure.
Wow, i just went to a place like this in Phoenix. They had a few popular items on the conveyor to grab but half the rolls were ordered and delivered the same way. It was one of the pay by plate places so when you were done you put the plates down a chute and it would play an animation. Also the drinks were delivered by a robot you had to pet to make go away! It was a lot of fun.
Nothing made me feel like i am losing the grip on reality more than playing a game of fishing as a chicken on a screen the size of my bed, all the while at a restaurant and trying to eat. It honestly feels like a fever dream scenario xD Having said all that I do come from a pretty backwater country where these things don't exist, I have had the fortune of visiting Japan so i know this is a tame thing but still, very crazy concept to me.
I genuinely think it’s because America isn’t a respectful country. The TVs would get smashed, people would take others food off the Conveyor belt and the general silence in Japanese restaurants would NEVER happen in America.
@@Ohmygodstfu2045 the average American does tho, so that’s why these sorts of places would never be in America. Anything like a self serving shop in America is destined for failure.
@alfiecrichton9834 dude conveyor belt sushi already exists in the US and it's been doing fine... listen to the other guy and stop putting japan on a pedestal 😭
I was going to say the same thing...as much as I would love to have this here, it would get destroyed. People in general are so disrespectful and gross here 😞
That's a really cool concept. Have to say that seeing people win stuff is a nice spin. Thank you for the videos, I do enjoy seeing the smiles the food bring and wish to taste each one. Maybe one day. Thank you again!
It is so weird for me seeing a country where they are literalyl able to have such nice things. Restaurants like those would be robbed or vandalized instantly where i live... And it isnt even that expensive! Like whole servings for less than 20 quid in total!? Not to mention the free drinks... I absolutely love it. Thanks for the video
I live in Winnipeg and been following Dancing Bacon 🥓 for awhile now, we have nothing like these awesome restaurants, food vendors and vending machines you two show us. I'm so jealous 😂
My son and I got to try one of these here in Texas USA this week and it was so much fun! We got to try so many new types of sushi (like sea urchin!) and we loved the games. We never would have known it existed if we didn’t love watching your videos so much. Thank you!
Oddly enough. We were there yesterday at Shinjuku location. I really like this setup. No waste and dual ordering at the same table. You could see people tapping the pictured times like the old Kaiten. Game has way better prize than Kura.they truly need to expand it
I grew up not really liking seafood and enjoying this clam chowder that this one restaurant made. My grandmother use to say I just ask that you try it. If you don’t like it you don’t have to eat it. As a teenager just got sick a lot and really didn’t develop an inclination to constantly try new things. I like scallops, lobster, and shrimp. It’s always fun regardless to see the places you both go to. You do have some remarkable restaurants. I think the order experience is quite neat. You have to go in knowing your spending time doing this as part of a fun night out. Thanks for sharing your night out with us. I always love it.
At minute 12:36 the plate with the drops of sauce and sushi looks like a face. 😉 Thank you for this experience. I still think the excitement of seeing and getting to choose something delicious, immediately, will always be better than a digital version. 💟
Yeah, but unfortunately, some asshole teens in Japan licked some sushi covers and then put them back in a Sushiro outlet, which caused a public outcry (this was during Covid) and Sushiro renovated their outlets to this now, removing the original conveyor belts...
One of these days, I like to make it back to Japan (it has been decades and mostly were for business) to experience ALL these interesting food on your channel.
The place looks really nice. The food looks delicious(I'm sure it was). Love that you could play games while getting food. Good to see that you won. That Gundam stuff makes looks so cool. I'm jealous you got it.
The food all looked good, and I'd be happy if I won a Gundam kit as well for about $5! I don't even build Gunpla (yet), partly because those things can get expensive. Seeing Mrs. Bacons' pretty smiling face at the end was worth it as always, of course. Those of you who make snide remarks about her, well, I feel sorry for y'all for not allowing yourselves to smile and laugh to the point where someone who does so is somehow "forced" to you.
How can anyone make snide remarks about Mrs Bacon? 😢 That’s just sad. A true Dancing Bacon 🥓 knows that a Mrs Bacon appearance is a treat. Enjoy your Gunpla? when you get it.
I would love to spend a few hours there. Tempura and rolls and loveliness on sticks for good prices? Yes, please. So much more fun than a bar or fancy restaurant.
First time I’ve seen @shanderteo not looking quite so happy about the food or maybe the atmosphere of the restaurant? She’s happy with the gacha prize though!
Yeah, I was about to comment on that myself...I don't remember seeing her look unhappy like that before on DB's vids. Then again, there's been plenty of times she's probably been out of view, and this is just the first time she's been caught in that mood on-camera. Hope she's doing okay..
This food looks so good! I'd be all over that grilled chicken cheese sushi. 😍 And I love salmon, so that plate with three different types of salmon sushi is also a plus. The only problem I really have is that you can't see the prices.
I am from Bangladesh.. just love all of your content. My family members also watched your videos madly. Hope that our cuisine will also in your list one day ❤❤❤❤
The things I’d do to experience Japan 🇯🇵 Wholy that place looks just phenomenal. Everything iv seen about Japan looks amazing I would love to go to this sushi place 😩
I can't believe how cheap everything is, especially when you compare it to what you pay for these same things here in the US. I think I need to live in Japan.
I want something like this in my part of the United States. We used to have "Sushi Boat," which offered sushi floating on little boat-plates on a flowing channel of water, but they went out of business many years ago.
I forget which sushi chain announces a forthcoming sushi plate coming to you on the conveyor belt in a cute female voice "Your Order will soon be waiting. Don't forget to pick it up!!!"
My family is Hawaiian and I’ve never met anyone else or even a sushi restaurant here in California that calls it shoyu instead of soy sauce haha one time a sushi chef looked at me crazy and said he’d never heard of shoyu before. Glad to know I’m not crazy after seeing the shoyu glaze 😅😂
It may not appeal to all adults, but I wish there were more playful places like this...the food looked delicious, tje variety was amazing, but getting some light-hearted entertainment & getting to win something fun to take home?!!? Adults need this to de-stress!
