Here it is, guys. The LAST solo interrail adventure vlog. Here we are in Friesland in The Netherlands with my Dutch family for a jam packed few days of authentic Dutch experiences. From visiting 3 week old puppies, trying Friesian liqueur, seeing family and teaching English in a Dutch school, these few days were some of my favourites of the whole trip. I then got home to the beautiful land of the UK and saw my lil bro again (finally!). I hope you enjoy this rollercoaster final vlog - and that you've enjoyed this 3 week adventure in general. Sharing this chapter of my life has been an honour ✨ x

Can I just say that this series has been the biggest editing endeavour of my channel thus far. I'm SO immensely proud of these videos (& my crazy, out-of-ma-comfort zone solo adventures!). 🙈😭 I'm equally in shock of just how wonderful you guys have been. I never imagined you'd become so invested in this mad trip; so supportive of each upload and generally making me feel like every effort was wholeheartedly worth it. I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH! Whether you've seen every video, or casually dipped in and out, thank you for traveling with me in my pocket x

Probably public, in the netherlands you don't have a lot of private schools, allmost all the schools are public schools, you do have special education schools like Montessori schools, or "free" schools, but most of them are public as well.

I'm Dutch myself and I get that the kids didn't know Simon Says because when I was younger we basically had the same game but it was called "Commando" which means Command. I didn't know about Simon Says until I was like 12 lol

Well, Friesland actually looks like most towns you can visit in Groningen, Drenthe, Overijssel, Gelderland, etc, etc... Randstad is just different from the rural areas, which take up the majority of the country

Jade, I've just finished watching all your inter-railing vlogs and it reminded me so much when I went travelling across Europe 5 years ago! Staying in hostels, meeting incredible people, worrying if you're on the right train or not! I know you probs won't see this because these vlogs were done two years ago, but a huge congrats to stepping out your comfort zone and doing this. It gave me a massive confidence boost. And a well done for editing all this together, it's not easy with vlogs to make a story consistant and interesting, but you've absolutely smashed it!

Ive just binged this whole series in a day. discovered it from the "everything I packed for a month of interrailing solo" video. ive really enjoyed it and its made it realise that i would like to do something similar. I also did DoFE and enjoyed it but couldn't finish it due to some timing and family stuff. I plan to take a gap year too once ive finished college this year so MAYBE. i would probably need funds and some plans first tho. i think i would like to do this with at least one other person tho because i dont trust myself although its like who would do this w me 😭. anyways i really enjoyed this series tysm for it although its like 4 years oldd, its given me a gap year idea :). now onto the storytimessss.

I did not expect you to take me back to my childhood haha. In Hindeloopen, you were standing right by the harbour where my grandparents regularly used to dock their boat when they were going on a trip to Friesland. I had no idea how much I missed driving an hour or two to Hindeloopen with my parents and brother just to visit my grandparents on their boat. We regularly ate at the fish stand a little to the right of where you were standing. My grandma used to buy me and my brother a lottery ticket at the Spar just down one of the side roads. My brother always won something, and I never did. I'm really glad to have those memories though

It’s funny because several years ago I did pretty much the same Interrail trip as you but on the opposite direction and with one friend. We did Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Pula (it’s in the coast of Croatia) and Venice. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I hope you liked it as much. I didn’t kiss no one on that trip though, lol. 😂

Hey Jade! I've just binged your whole journey (it's currently 3:20 AM), mostly because it reminds me of my first trip with Interrail, last year. I am currently doubting if I can afford myself to go Interrailing for the second time in a few weeks (just because of the money it will cost). English teacher trainee teaching in Dutch bilingual schools here! Loved seeing you play Simon Says with the class! What a great way to activate learners, I think that'd work brilliantly if you have a group that's low on energy and participation! Never underestimate the force of games on children, if done correctly they can literally get them to move mountains! Cheers!!

Wow what a series!! I always thought I wouldn’t want to go travelling because I’m very much a homely person, however your videos have opened my eyes and changed my perspective on travelling! Whilst I’d still probably not go intensely travelling, your videos have made me want to go out into the world and experience life in different places (and the idea of a night train is fascinating as I love trains!). Thank you for opening my eyes, I absolutely loved this series and I’m so glad you had an amazing time (even if there were a few bumps in the road)

Thanks for showcasing Leeuwarden (my hometown) and Friesland, everybody always goes to Amsterdam but luckily you have family in Friesland! It’s still a relatively “untouched” part of The Netherlands.. I’m currently in Slovenia to become a pilot and I really liked your video of visiting Slovenia. Keep up the good work! And should you ever want to shoot some footage from above through a sightseeing flight in Friesland or in Slovenia, do not hesitate to PM 👍
