Those tiny hop in place is pure happiness. I was riding a bus once and saw a stray doing the hop while running towards something. What I saw further was an old man with a bucket full of meat who's feeding strays. He seemed poor but still found a way to feed the strays. Bless him

We have this and there's a sensor in front of it, that's why in the video it didn't throw while the dog was hopping, only after she backed up and held still.

My brother has a dog looks identical to this dog. He has a labrador retriver mix and is so friendly and adorable even at 7 years old people think he still a puppy as he is a little smaller that pure bred labs or retrievers. Even during Covid people were always wanting to pet him and many want to adopt him but he's a keeper for my brother who got him from a kill state in the US who sent him to Toronto, where my brother adopted him instead of getting a doodle mix from who knows where. That’s true, but if you leave an outside dog alone in a fenced in yard all day when you work this would be an excellent way to keep them from being bored all day long. They’re getting excercise either way and only keep going as long as they want to. They can decide when they no longer feel like fetching the ball for themself. Of course they’d need extra water available because this would make them thirsty. We no longer have a dog but would have loved this back then. 🐕🐕‍🦺🐶

@@noahserna8708That’s true. Look at a retired older person maybe, who doesn’t have the energy they once had. Dogs need exercise and this is an excellent tool for that. Why make the animal slow down just because the owner can’t do what they once could.

I know I’ve seen people criticize these things like why get a dog if you’re just going to buy a machine to play with them? I always respond to with I adopted a dog I didn’t sign a contract with the mlb lol. You don’t use these instead of playing with your dog they’re for after you’ve thrown the ball for two hours and cramping lol
