Your tax dollars pay their salaries. But a CBS11 investigation found some Tarrant County precinct 8 deputy constables sometimes working private security jobs at the same time they were being paid to be working for the county.
True. But when a person steps outside the stream of conversation to call attention to a superfluous condition, such as skin color. That is. Because that is all that individual saw. Thank you for your cordial retort.
You act like it makes a difference whether they waste your money or not regardless of that fact you're still going to pay taxes no matter what the rest of your life and you're never going to get it back the only way you're ever going to get it back as a tax return so I don't see what the f*** y'all complain about like it even matters to begin with you're still paying the same amount of taxes you act like it was more expensive for them to f*** you then not. It doesn't matter what they do with it if you knew how much of your money went to waste the cops will be the last of your concern. Doesn't matter if they waste your money or not unless you stop paying taxes
2 of them were fired and indicted, the other 2 testified against the others, agreed to permanently surrender their police credentials, and all were forced to pay back the money
This needs to be national news on every media Outlet in the country. And something else I don't understand why do people let them check their receipts and carts on the way out of a store once you pay for it it's yours this is called illegal search and seizure wake up people just say no
Only if they HAVE PROOF that a crime has been committed. If you are so sure show me this law because I just went through this at a WAL-MART the police were called and asked to see receipt I told them only my lawyer will see it before the judge does they told MANAGER that there was nothing they could do without evidence (VIDEO OR EYEWITNESS) and I left the property and went home without showing receipt.
This happens all over the place and it's why qualified security officers lime myself stay stuck with the lower paying posts while they milk the system. They all should be held accountable as well as the Security company that hires them
No shock here. There are far too many that once in a uniform of the state and given a gun and a badge assume it to be a direct ticket to abuse of the system and also the power given by the people. It follows that there are some who should not be given responsibilities they ill-equipt to uphold.
It's now almost 11 months since this was posted. How many of these thieves lost their jobs? How did Walmart and Fiesta respond to the information that they were using thieves as their private security?
None of them lost their jobs you nincompoop because the government is the ones telling them to go work at Walmart stupid look and see who is sending them to their jobs LOL you dumb racist don’t know shit
This is nothing NEW WHY IS EVERYBODY SURPRISED? Walmart has them all over especially in lexington ky all their walmart well they have cops bt that's still the same
Carla H- You can’t blameWalmart for corruption in law enforcement. Pretty sure these thieves didn’t tell Walmart that they’re stealing from the county while working in uniform. Why are these corrupt LEOs allowed to wear their official costumes when working a side job?
Walmart is the employer for these off duty officers. Walmart know they are doing this think they don't. If walmart did employ or sub contract them why are they even there for???
They always say there's 2 sides to a story and I can agree. I've witnessed this watching the Steve Wilkos Show. However, it's apparent to me that based upon the Investigation (s) that the hours worked verses what was on the paperwork didn't match. Therefore something [is] going on here! Personally I just find it disturbing with the fact that RU-vid alone is freaking peppered with story after story of nefarious and corrupt story's concerning wrong doing by Law Enforcement Officials.
The worst part about this is that this documentary, in an attempt to expose them, will do absolutely nothing. The cops will be questioned about it, but that’s it. This will continue.
Kutters videos company's will hire off duty police officers to come in, in uniform to protect and act as security. It happens all the time for places such as sports events, concerts, etc. That's why they're paid 20 an hour, as where a normal security guard would be paid roughly 8.50
Kutters videos @ And I can guarantee that their taxpayer funded police vehicle is in the parking lot. I see city cops all the time working security at car dealerships on the weekends, sitting in their city owned police vehicle with the engine idling for 8 hours.
Hose A at least in my area in order to higher an off duty officer for security you have to go through the city or county. They'll charge the business 35-50 an hour and pay the officer about 25 an hour. The extra money is used for equipment such as vehicles
Um police officers can be also being security through the police department. Like hospitals paying the police department protect the hospital that’s not double dipping that’s their sector. Also officers who patrol the malls. The department paid by these places to put officers to do security. Get facts right.
Malou Lauren you missed the entire point of the video. They were paid by both their department and by Walmart at the same time. You can’t say you worked for the department from 9-5 and also worked for Walmart from 9-5 on the same day. It’s called double dipping and it’s illegal.
Dujuan Thomas if they want to make, do it right. It ain’t cool to see incorrect timesheets and taxpayers being clocked for it. Those double dipping cops have days off and vacation and exploiting grey areas in their jobs just makes them look bad. Just a disagreement with your opinion without the childish beef we see in RU-vid.
@@c-martz2846 hey just make sure you have that same mindset about the politicians double dipping. Triple dipping , and taking loads of money for minimal work. Forget a small town. The news needs to investigate the crooked politicians in charge of this country !
Dujuan Thomas hell yeah, i am sure our politicians are greater scammers than these officers; probably thousand folds🤔 and no one knows about it. Why? Because all of them are on the same page. Gettin that money from lobbyist and kick backs too along with their salary. True money. Your right, the media throws out crap that’s convenient for them, more advertisers. It’s boring talking about volunteering but catching a few guys gettin over just a little bit, that’s news💰💰💰💰. Thanks for the reply, good talk 👍
Court records show Chief Deputy Arnold Holmes must serve five years of probation, permanently surrender his peace officer license and pay restitution of $6,660.50.
Instead of asking the Constable about double-dipping jobs, she should have just said we have time sheets that show deputy worked 4hrs but was paid for 10hrs, etc. That's pretty cut and dry.
That's not "double dipping" that's plain theft. Damn thieves. If I was arrested by anyone of these guys I'd contact my attorney and question their motives and integrity. Show they are guilty of felony theft. Lawyers would have a field day with that and rightly so.
Correct me if I'm wrong...the deputies didn't claim those hours on their time sheet, but were paid anyway. Example, officer wrote down 2hrs but was paid for 8hrs. That's payroll, not the officer.
Alot of cops in my county arnt aloud to do this. They have a sheet with extra hours they can sign off for community work. But has to be after shift or off days.
Yet you know that if any of the minimum wage workers at those stores is even 5 minutes late for work or late coming back from (unpaid) lunch break, they not only don't get paid for those 5 minutes but they are in danger of getting fired.
In law enforcement, you generally get paid for using vacation time hours or compensatory hours. If an officer leaves work early at 2pm, the daily log of activity will stop at 2 pm. Any vacation hours or compensatory hours used to fill in the remaining hours to make an 8 hour day for payroll will NOT show up on the daily logs shown. What does all that mean? An officer's daily activity log can read 3 hours worked and he/she can still LEGALLY get paid for 8 hours. Now for the officers who were at Walmart but claimed on their daily log of activity that they were working the streets, that's flat out FRAUD.
It works like this for example. The deputies work 3 hours one day and take vacation time for the rest of the day. They still get paid for the full hours on that day because they took vacation time. Instead of actually being on vacation, they decide to work and so they get paid by two employers for a days work while only actually working for one of the employers. They have built up that vacation time, this is not against policy. Most people go out on vacation when they take vacation time. If others want to work while on vacation, comp, or flex time, they should be allowed to.
